While I can send photos attached to text messages with my Tattoo, I am unable to download and access attachment sent by SMS to my phone. Anyone got any solutions for this? A 31 KB MMS attachment shouldn't be that hard to access!

I am able to take video and view it on my Eris, but if I e-mail it to my fiance's Droid, he can't view it. I tried e-mailing the video to myself, but when I try to download it from Gmail, it says "unable to fetch attachment" How can I send video to someone else? Is there a way to change the extension?

View 1 Replies View RelatedUse mail exchange and works great but has a small, but my big problem, can not receive (open) attachments, hours and hours spent I am hoping that I'll fail to find an answer but nothing. It is interesting that the attachment can be sent without a problem, but not receive. The incoming mail click on the download attachments on it apparently does not take it but not on an SD card or the device. I am hoping that the problem could possibly solve the master reset the device does the same and in the end we create an even bigger problem ... now can not even set up mail or use a browser, entering the same does not happen is absolutely nothing! tried to erase the memory of browser and other features, but nothing goes the better!

I get the email and the paper clip is there but I cant do anything with it. No long press, or tap, or double tap or anything. Its just not opening anything. Done battery pull but still a no go.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen i get a gmail with an attachment i can see the little paper clip telling me that i have an attachment and it will even tell me the size of the attachment but i cannot download it. it is not a clickable link. if i go to gmail on my browser it will let me start to download it but it always says download failed this phone does not support this file. its just a document, is there an app that allows me to download attachments such as this? the file was .ics whatever that is. but it has happened with other file types.

Where do downloaded email attachments(documents, pdfs, etc..) get stored? My internal memory is at 70MB and if i recall correctly it was around 200+MB when i bought the phone. I put on apps, but not 130+MB worth, and my cache is clear. Any other ideas what might be eating up my internal storage?

View 4 Replies View RelatedToday I was showing my HTC Dream to a friend, how the lock screen works. I pressed the "forgot pattern" button, thinking I could go back or just enter my credentials. Since that moment, I haven't been able to access my phone at all. I can't go back to the pattern screen and I can't log in. It just says Invalid user name or password, no matter what I do. My e-mail is ryanrio...@gmail.com and I've tried ryanrio...@googlemail.com and just ryanriopel and none of it works. I know the password is correct, but I can't login. I tried this on both WiFi and Edge, and I've soft reset the phone several times now.

View 9 Replies View Relatedmy newly bought Tattoo became unbootable a few days ago.It worked perfectly fine two days ago, then it started to randomly reboot itself, but after that, it became completely unbootable, as in, it was stuck at the "TATTOO" screen. The phone internals are completely untouched, no custom images, not rooted, no nothing, it's factory fresh.The battery is full too, and I didn't install anything that could possibly have corrupted the bootloader (or whatever is failing to load).I already tried to wipe the user data _TWICE_ (using HOME + BACK + POWER) with no success. I'm also perfectly able to get into HBOOT (using VOLDOWN + MENU + POWER), and connect via usb (using "FASTBOOT USB" from HBOOT). However, I can't completely wipe the cache with fastboot.exe from the android-sdk, since it doesn't allow it: "erasing 'cache'... FAILED (remote: not allow)".

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have had a problem with the android marketplace on my HTC tattoo since i got it at christmas where i can't download any apps and the progress just stops at 'starting download' -- i have tried factory resets, new google accounts, wifi and network etc. etc. but it still doesn't work. i have been looking at google help and some people have solved the problem by simply signing into the google talk application that comes standard on most android phones. my tattoo doesn't have google talk though and i have no way of getting it.
