Apr 26, 2010I'm working on an android form with a radio group containing a set of radio buttons. From what I can tell there is no way to set the color a radio button highlights when you select it. It seems to always default to some bright green color. Is this something that is editable or no?

From the image, I tried changing the boxed text from '<item name="textColor">@color/primary_text_holo_light</item>', and creating my own drawable xml file to link it with that. Color change seems successful, but it also affects other holo white buttons as well (see image). I don't want it to happen, for it renders those buttons unreadable.

I am using setBackgroundResource() in the onClick and onLongClick listeners. Though it changes the button color, it also changes the button shape by making it look like a rectangle.
How can this be solved?

The dialog display just fine with the correct number of radio buttons, but the text for the buttons does not display UNLESS I press/select an item. Then once I let up on the selection it disapperas again. what in the world am I not getting?
