May 28, 2010Just picked up my Incredible earlier today. Was tired of waiting on Amazon so found the last remaining one at the Bestbuy instead. Anyway, they threw in a free 2GB SD card. I already bought a 8gig card. Should I return it? Will the 2gig be enough plus the phone memory? I know I'm being a little cheap but the extra cash wouldn't hurt.

Unsuccessful workaround I thought I could navigate to the 8GB drive via ASTRO, and then play the avi files, but Rockplayer show as a player option!

May 2, 2010last week before getting the incredible i had 2 extra micro sd cards laying around. Today i have 4. Of course i got the free 2gb sd card with the phone, its still in the package. And today when i went to the verizon store to buy a car charger and the red and black gradient case they gave me a 4gb micro sd for free! So now i have 2 extra micro sd's that i didn't have last week. Not too bad. So for those who didn't know i guess verizon has a deal going on now where if you buy a car charger and case you get a free 4gb micro sd memory card. I"m not sure how much they retail for but its got to be at least worth $10-15. The case and the charger came to $50 + change. Just a heads up for those that need these accessories.

May 28, 2010Has any1 been successful in using Astro or any other file manager to move files from the SD Card to the internal Memory located at /EMCC/ ? I've tried a couple times, both moving small amount of files and/or entire folders and got Error messages in Astro. Is this just lack of support or can u really just add files using a Computer to the internal memory?

Mar 26, 2011Just rooted my 2.2 Incredible tonight using Unrevoked3 on my Macbook. Everything was fine. I had RomManager and wanted to get Cyanogen, but I wanted to back up my apps first just in case. So I ran Titanium Backup. I wasn't sure how to do it, so I went to Menu>More>Create "update.zip". The phone started doing something, then it said it failed to create update and then the phone went dead. Tried powering back on, got to HTC Incredible screen, then screen went black and phone did 5 quick vibrations back to back and the green "new message" indicator light started blinking like I had a new email or something.
Tried powering back on, but nothing happened. Pulled battery, put it back, still nothing. Had to pull battery, plug phone into computer, put battery back in and then it powered on. Tried a Reboot, but that didn't do anything. Tried re-running unrevoked3, but it won't do anything because now my phone can't find any SD card or internal memory. Both are just grayed out. So even though my phone has 8gig internal and an 8gig external SD card in it, it's not showing either. I can't load a new ROM because it needs the SD card. I put the SD card into my computer and it shows all of my stuff on there, so the card isn't corrupted.
HTC Incredible :: Won't Mount Phone Memory Or SD Card As Disk Drive Unless Reboot?
Oct 27, 2010I am running one of the leaked 2.2 OTA Roms, everything has been working fine, except lately, as of a week or two ago, the phone won't mount as Disk Drive unless I reboot, and it wasn't a one time fix, I have to do this every time. I noticed that when I plug the phone into the computer, I don't get the message saying "Charge Only / HTC Sync / Disk Drive / Mobile Broadband Connect etc." And yes, I have it set to ask me every time, and I even set the default connection type to Disk Drive, and still I unplug it and plug it back in and nothing. I know it connected okay, the computer recognizes it as HTC Android device or whatever it calls it, and the orange light lights up on the phone showing that's it's charging, but in my computer all that pops up is a weird optical drive that I can't access.

Jun 30, 2010So I installed the Jager ROM over the weekend, and today I had a problem with the SU program included not working. This sucks because now I can not back anything up or do anything that requires SU privies. The SU program just force closes when it comes up in any program that needs it. I downloaded another SU program but the old one always comes up. Is there a way to change this or uninstall the other one. I found the same one in the market but it wont install. Maybe cause its read only?

Nov 27, 2010I just picked up the Incredible today and am enjoying the phone so far. Unfortunatly, when I tried to install the included software I got the following error message:
"Error 2738. Could not access VBScrpit run time for custom action"
I tried to use the support feature on the Verizon Wireless site but the only thing that came up for that error message was a link to an article for Blackberrys.

I followed the directions on that link for the command prompt. When that did not work, I downloaded the software from the Verizon Wireless website again. Unfortunatly I got the same error message again. So either all of their software is corrupted, or something is amiss on my end. I am running Vista 32bit on this machine. I have a Windows 7 laptop I could try, but that is not my primary machine and does not have any of my music on it, so I'd rather get this one fixed.
