I have several avi files stored on the internal 8GB phone memory drive feature in my Incredible. Unfortunately, Rockplayer only accesses my 2GB micro SD card! Unsuccessful workaround I thought I could navigate to the 8GB drive via ASTRO, and then play the avi files, but Rockplayer show as a player option!

Just an FYI that is HUGE.....
With the latest version of Rockplayer there is a menu setting for System Player. If you check that.....
And use a file manager such as Astro.... Rockplayer shows up as an option....
It also ALLOWS YOU TO ACCESS THE INTERNAL MEMORY for Rockplayer!
Using the internal memory now while watching an xvid.
Just picked up my Incredible earlier today. Was tired of waiting on Amazon so found the last remaining one at the Bestbuy instead. Anyway, they threw in a free 2GB SD card. I already bought a 8gig card. Should I return it? Will the 2gig be enough plus the phone memory? I know I'm being a little cheap but the extra cash wouldn't hurt.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am running one of the leaked 2.2 OTA Roms, everything has been working fine, except lately, as of a week or two ago, the phone won't mount as Disk Drive unless I reboot, and it wasn't a one time fix, I have to do this every time. I noticed that when I plug the phone into the computer, I don't get the message saying "Charge Only / HTC Sync / Disk Drive / Mobile Broadband Connect etc." And yes, I have it set to ask me every time, and I even set the default connection type to Disk Drive, and still I unplug it and plug it back in and nothing. I know it connected okay, the computer recognizes it as HTC Android device or whatever it calls it, and the orange light lights up on the phone showing that's it's charging, but in my computer all that pops up is a weird optical drive that I can't access.

Of course i got the free 2gb sd card with the phone, its still in the package. And today when i went to the verizon store to buy a car charger and the red and black gradient case they gave me a 4gb micro sd for free! So now i have 2 extra micro sd's that i didn't have last week. Not too bad. So for those who didn't know i guess verizon has a deal going on now where if you buy a car charger and case you get a free 4gb micro sd memory card. I"m not sure how much they retail for but its got to be at least worth $10-15. The case and the charger came to $50 + change. Just a heads up for those that need these accessories.

I've tried a couple times, both moving small amount of files and/or entire folders and got Error messages in Astro. View 7 Replies View RelatedJust rooted my 2.2 Incredible tonight using Unrevoked3 on my Macbook. Everything was fine. I had RomManager and wanted to get Cyanogen, but I wanted to back up my apps first just in case. So I ran Titanium Backup. I wasn't sure how to do it, so I went to Menu>More>Create "update.zip". The phone started doing something, then it said it failed to create update and then the phone went dead. Tried powering back on, got to HTC Incredible screen, then screen went black and phone did 5 quick vibrations back to back and the green "new message" indicator light started blinking like I had a new email or something.
Tried powering back on, but nothing happened. Pulled battery, put it back, still nothing. Had to pull battery, plug phone into computer, put battery back in and then it powered on. Tried a Reboot, but that didn't do anything. Tried re-running unrevoked3, but it won't do anything because now my phone can't find any SD card or internal memory. Both are just grayed out. So even though my phone has 8gig internal and an 8gig external SD card in it, it's not showing either. I can't load a new ROM because it needs the SD card. I put the SD card into my computer and it shows all of my stuff on there, so the card isn't corrupted.
I have the new x10 mini and cant work out how to or where the new contacts are added to after the initial transfer are,can anyone shed any light on how to check this please?

The problem I have is that there is an 8GB memory card with 2.2 gb free and yet it keeps telling me the memory is low (17.31mb on the internal phone storage) and yet it is only giving me the option to uninstall things,.
