HTC Incredible : Way To Take Videos On Phone?

Oct 24, 2010

My name is Eric and I've got the HTC Incredible with android 2.2 of course. I can't figure out how to send videos in HD 720p mode. I've been playing with all of the resolution settings, and video duration settings, and I have just not been able to figure it out yet. The only way I can send it is either through Bluetooth, or upload it to YouTube via WiFi. There's got to be a way to send video through 3G to someone else.

HTC Incredible :: How To Play ESPN 3 Videos On Phone?

Jun 11, 2010

Just bounced out to ESPN at ESPN Home on my Incredible and like the look, but in the "video" section there are only 7 offerings and this is little highlight blurbs. On the ESPN 3 site you can watch full length games and I can browse to this site on my Incredible but when I get the viewing window, I just get a little yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it. Is there any way to play ESPN 3 videos on the Incredible?

HTC Incredible :: Play Videos On DI

Aug 20, 2010

trying to play videos on my DI. I didn't spend a lot of time looking into what it takes to play videos but I assumed it would be pretty straight forward and "drag 'n' drop." I've loaded a .mp4, .avi, and a .mkv. So far, none of them work. I didn't try them all at the same time (mostly because each time I just threw the video on there, assumed it would work, then found out later it didn't) so they have all been different videos, thus shouldn't be corrupted files. What do I need to do to get them to play?

HTC Incredible :: Where Are Videos Stored?

Jun 10, 2010

I took a short video with my Incredible. I can see it fine on the phone, but I want to transfer it to my computer at home. I have mounted the phone and SD card on my computer (macbook, if that matters), and can explore the various files, but the video does not show up in any of the "video" folders. On the phone, when I open the video folder, I see my video plus a video podcast, but when the drives are open on the desktop, I can only find the podcast video.

I was looking at the N1 on youtube and notice it's picture gallery which looks so nice. I went on the market to see if they have something similar....and yes they do. It's called 3d gallery. It's so much better than the gallery that came with the phone. If you've heard of cool iris that's what it basically is now for your phone. It works fine on the DINC. If this has been posted already just ignore and delete this thread.

HTC Incredible :: Upload Videos To YouTube

I'm running stock 2.2 OTA on my incredible. I attempted to upload a vid to youtube via "share" in the video album and failed. At first I thought it might be the camera locking the file. So I kill the camera app. Try again, nothing. It fails. I connect to my WiFi @ home see if it helps to no avail. It keeps trying to upload for a few times and eventually fails. I had to USB them to my pc and then upload them from there.

HTC Incredible :: Can't See / Find Videos Put On SD Card / How To Get

Aug 4, 2010

Ok, I'm sick of looking around for the answer to this. And I apologize if its a "noobish" question:

When I plug my phone into my computer two drives come up (H: and I. From what I can tell, I: is my SD card, because it has the DCIM folder with all my pictures in it. Now...When I tried to put videos (mp4s,.avi) in there, I could not for the love of god find them through my phone! (I use Rockplayer to view videos by the way and its great so far). When I did finally find them through some file explorer in a strange Root folder called eccm or something I couldn't open them cause they didn't seem to get recognized by RockPlayer. But when moved those same files/folders to H: drive (my internal memory I assume) they showed up in rock player and I could play them.. Same thing goes for comics, I couldn't find my .cbr files when I put em on the SD card drive. The other reason this is hard for me to tell is that my SD card is 8gigs, which is the same as internal storage right?

So...Does the phone combine internal and SD storage and show it as two drives for some odd reason (I doubt it and I feel ******ed even asking)? And more importantly, can I store videos on the SD card and have 'em show up in file exploret/rockplayer/android comic viewer right off the bat? Cause it seems that by default RockPlayer or most programs show the internal memory and all its folders when opened, not what you put into your SD card..

Avi's, mp4, mkv, etc.I created a "videos" folder on the root of my 16gig and place different types of video files there.I know the incredible can't view avi's, but it should be able to view MP4 as is, correct? Mine won't read them. I need to convert them with an app (forgot the name) and convert them to 3gp. They videos always end up so crappy and pixelated.

HTC Incredible :: Watch YouTube Videos From Facebook

Jul 15, 2010

Using the Facebook app, some music artists post videos of concert footage etc. When I click on the video to watch it, my Incredible will ask me if I want to use Internet or YouTube to watch it. Unfortunately neither works for me.

When I choose Internet, YouTube's website pops up with the video and a play button. When I click the play button it does nothing. When I choose to open it via the YouTube app, I get an error saying that it can't play the file.

Is there a way to watch embedded YouTube videos that people post on Facebook via the app?

HTC Incredible :: Rename Videos Taken & Saved To SD Card?

Aug 16, 2010

Just as the title says...Does anyone know how you rename a video that you shot with your phone? The stock media player for the Incredible $ucks number one because it only brings up an image of the video and has no other identifying feature such as a name for the video and number two I downloaded a third party app that has a better video player that does allow an image of the video and also a name of it but how do I go about renaming videos that I have taken. I tried on the computer and every time I selet a video to rename it, it tells me that renaming the video may make it unusable or something which obviously will defeat the purpose of making the video in the first place.
