One of the HTMLs contains a form. I need to get the values entered in that form and use them in android code. the target of the form is the page itself and the method is GET.
How can i get the values entered by the user in that form?
HTC Hero :: Arrow Keys On Keyboard To Move Cursor Around In A Text Entry Box
Sep 6, 2009I can't see any arrow keys on the keyboard to move the cursor around in a text entry box. So, when I want to correct a typing mistake I have to stab my finger somewhere to the right of the error then backspace over the error (usually deleting a few correct characters in the process) before retyping. There must be a better way.

Sep 1, 2012in Jelly Bean opening an email in the basic email app and then touching anywhere within the email makes the email quickly scroll down to hide the to/from bar. It's the only place in Android where a single touch causes a scrolling response, so when I open the email and begin to scroll with a swipe, it jumps down and then scrolls which is somewhat disorienting as it differs from how scrolling works in every other app including Gmail.

May 6, 2010My wifes Incredible started shifting the home screen to the right without any touching. When its centered the screen begins swiping to the right as if a finger was there. In "all programs" it starts highlighting apps as if I was touching them but I am not. I have tried G-sensor calibration, keyboard calibration, restarts and the closing of apps but cant find where the trouble lies. Is it possible the touchscreen is now defective?

Jun 9, 2010About the only thing I miss from my old WinOS phone is the arrow keys on the keyboard. I don't see that on my Dinc. So, how do you navigate inside a text field? If I want to correct a letter in the middle of a long piece of text, how do I get there? Currently I am using my big fat finger to try and place the cursor where I want but that is certainly not very accurate and usually takes several tries to get it where I want.Earlier today I was editing an email addr in contacts and the long text exceeded the text window. I couldn't figure out how to even see the beginning of the text.

May 26, 2010How do you move to a different folder or save an email message? with the message list open, hitting menu/more/move to - goes back to the list, then selecting the message, the bottom left button says Move to - hitting that gives me only three choices - Trash, Drafts and Sent - nothing else? Of course I don't want any of these folders, but I sure can't think of how to create a folder called Saved, or whatever, to move the email to.

May 11, 2010ActiveSync with Exchange works great with one exception. I can't create an Exchange calendar entry on the Dinc because Exchange is not listed as one of the calendar choices when creating a new calendar entry. Any calendar entry created on Exchange is synced to the Dinc & any Dinc modification to an Exchange calendar entry is synced back to Exchange. Just can't use the DInc to create a new calender entry on Exchange.

Sep 20, 2010I have 9 Favorites set up on my Incredible, 8 of them work perfectly (I have them fixed up so that when I choose the person, the entire address card comes up so I can choose to call, email, text or whatever), and the ninth (set up only to place a telephone call) used to work perfectly, now not so much.When I select the contact, I get a message that says "Call not sent, no valid number entered".I have looked at his address card, and all seems correct.I have not changed anything so really don't know what is going on.I thought maybe if I deleted this one contact and then re-added, it would fix it, but when I try to delete this one, the phone looks like it wants to delete the other 8 as well, and I really don't want to have to set this up again (actually, can't remember how I got them to show the whole address book entry).

May 7, 2010Does anyone know a way to call a phone number that is in a calendar entry on the Incredible? This is a feature I used 10 times a day on my blackberry and I can't believe there wouldn't be some way to do it on the incredible. I am a sales rep and when I set up an appointment I put the name of the office and then I type the phone number right next to the name. When I opened the entry on my bb I could then click on the number to initiate a call. The incredible doesn't seem to recognize the phone number as anything different than text..

Jul 6, 2010Unless I'm losing it, whenever I had a new email notification, pulled down the notification bar, and clicked the email, G mail app opened up the email itself. All of a sudden, when I do the same thing, it opens up the G mail In box and I have to click the email itself to open it. Am I delusional and this is how it's always been?

Sep 19, 2010I am going to try to hard reset my Incredible in hopes it fixes a couple problems I'm seeing since getting 2.2. I want to back up my apps though, so I go into manage applications and pick an app, but the 'move to SD card' option is grayed out. Also, to hard reset all I have to do is from home screen touch menu-settings-privacy- factory data reset - reset phone. Or is there something I should do instead?

Jun 4, 2010I'm considering exchanging my Incredible for a new one. The screen is really pink, I thought I could handle it, but it's really bothering me - especially since I use the auto backlight, so it's sometimes dim enough that the pink is very pronounced. The pink screen issue is NOT the point of this thread. I've read the other threads. I've read the other sources cited in those threads, the ones citing particular types of AMOLED displays using a particular layout of subpixels causing more pronounced reds. I understand it all, but I've also seen pictures of side by side Incredibles - one very pink, one very white. Pictures don't lie. I don't know what to believe, but if I go test an Incredible, and it's whiter, I want it. Sorry to waste so much space on this post with this, I just know how it goes on forums, and don't want to get into an argument over the pink screen issue.
That said - Here's my question: What's the best way to move everything over to my new incredible? I doubt I'll have the opportunity to have both in hand at home, meaning I'll need to copy whatever I'm going to copy before bringing it back. I primarily run Linux, but have access to a Windows machine as well. Contacts and e-mail come from Google, so I'm not worried about those. I'm primarily concerned with my Sense layout and installed apps.
