Sep 18, 2009Is anyones phone keep logging them out of facebook. i go to people, scroll across to updates and events and it says log in to facebook recieve updates. i do this but i keeps logging me out on its own. its done this 5 times since the update.

Aug 10, 2009I'm quite loving my Hero (T-Mobile UK) and rather like the ability to link contacts to their facebook profiles if only to have their birthdays remembered. The problem is I keep getting logged out (possibly just when I reset the phone) and when I log back it has forgotten which contacts were linked to which profiles.

This error occurs for Android less than 2.2. It works fine for Android 2.2 emulator. Yet Android 2.2 emulator has a bug of sending a key twice even though we only press it one. Application to be tested runs on Android 2.2 platform.

Apr 26, 2010I'm trying to use google maps on my android app but when i extend MapActivity instead of Activity in my activity file, there is an error that MapActivity cannot be resolved to a type...? I have <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET"/> as a child of manifest and <uses-library android:name="com.google.android.maps" /> as a child of application too.....
Moreover, when i try to import com.google,android.maps.MapActivity, it says com.google cannot be resolved....

Jun 26, 2010I just installed the Jager 1.6.1 ROM and I have Facebook (not for sense). I noticed that in my contacts, I can't link to Facebook, but Flickr is there. As well, in accounts & sync, I can't add facebook, even though it's in the list.

May 19, 2010Ok sitting at home, getting ready to go to bed, friend sends me a MMS. So I go to download and I noticed that I have no 3G connection, not even 1x, So I try to download it and it tells me that there is Generic Network Failure. Now I can't make any calls or do anything. It was working fine until i got the MMS. I have tried changing the size to download and just about every setting. I can't figure it out. I love this phone, but now it is starting to make me mad!

Sep 5, 2010This is where quality companies and lousy companies get separated. The quality companies forward the bugs to the software development department so that these issues can be tested, replicated, verified, and ultimately fixed.
What I'm asking is that anyone here who is experiencing the bump charge issue to please follow the below link and report your issue to HTC's support. Ultimately, I'm hoping that enough here do it so that HTC is forced to acknowledge the issue and test it, as the responses they've given me so far have indicated that they do not want to acknowledge it.

At the very least, we can compare responses from support reps if we get enough participation. Win win, as we either get acknowledgment from HTC, or pure comedy from their support reps. One last thing though, please be polite (at least initially) with the reps and focus primarily on the issue that needs to be fixed, rather than using this as a "prank call."

Now, my music is stored on the phone memory and not the sd card, but if it can find the playlists and display for me to choose, why is it not seeing the songs on them?

Jul 1, 2010So how few options do I have? I dropped my incredible on the garage floor and it hit in the corner and shattered. It still works fine, but I had to put some tape below the screed near the optical sensor to cover the sharpness from the cracks where the screen protector doesn't cover.
Anyhow, I did not get insurance as I'd never used it in the 15 years I owned a cell phone... murphy's law of course. I went to a Verizon store and they gave me a phone number of a 3rd party repair guy. He's closed for the day so I started to Google stuff and it seems that I am up the creek. The screens are the reason they are not making these as fast as they'd like so I assume there are none available. I cannot find any info on repairing them... not looking good is it?

Aug 9, 2012I'm unable to tag friends while using the Facebook app for Android, whether it's in Check-Ins, statuses, comments, or any of that stuff.
When I try doing it by using the "+" icon, it says "Unable to load friends list" (something like that) and then when I try using the "@" symbol, nothing shows up. It used to work perfectly fine, even with this version of the app. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling... Wiping cache, and even different ROMs. Could this be a gingerbread bug? I'm using a T-Mobile G2x, with the latest CM7.3 nightly build.

Apr 30, 2010So, somehow I accidentally installed the Facebook app in the Android market, which overwrote my Facebook HTC app that came built in. Did I screw anything up? AppBrain told me to upgrade it (HTC version), and upgraded to market version. Is there a difference? Should I care? Is there a way to undo what I have done? Seems like AppBrain has a bug in there, so be warned! Or it is just me being clueless, I suppose.

Jul 25, 2010So my girlfriend got herself a new HTC Aria a few days ago and the thing won't let her link her contacts to their Facebook profiles. All the contacts are stored on her phone, not the SIM has 2.1 stock. You type in the person's name after tapping the 'link profile' button or whatever it says, and no profiles show up in the search box. I noticed that a similar post in the HTC Hero forum, but no one seemed to have any luck over there. And yes, I've gone into the settings and enabled everything that I know to enable regarding syncing, facebooking, and anything else along on those lines.

Jul 18, 2010Long time crackberry user converted to android. I got my DX on release day, and have been fighting with facebook since. I cannot seem to get any notifications for facebook what so ever. I set up the "Social Networking" app that came on the X out of the box, and that integrated all my FB friends into my contacts which sucks, but anyway, then I downloaded the facebook app for android. I set up all the settings for notifications, and sounds and all that.
But no matter what, I cannot get a facebook notification like I did on my blackberry. Ill get yahoo emails saying so and so commented on your photo, or what not. But nothing else from FB instant. I have to manually go into my facebook app, go to notifications, hit the menu button and select refresh. Last night for some reason I got the little F in the top left notification bar that someone invited me to join an event. But I cant seem to get anything to mimic it again. I've checked HOFO and they suggested I check here.
