On the horizontal keyboard, what's the quickest way to send a text? Only way I've figured out is to hit menu key, then send. No big deal if that's the fastest way, just checking. There's so many shortcuts to be learned on this thing it's unbelievable. Really enjoying it so far though, quite a change from my Blackberry Curve.

Just out of no where. Can receive messages but every one I try to send a red exclamation point.t pops up. I try resending with no luck. Calling is normal and internet works great. I've looked thru all the settings and restarted the phone with no luck. I'm not the primary account holder so I have to wait for someone to call Verizon for me.

View 11 Replies View RelatedStill waiting on my DINC while using my WM TP2. I have one well two feathers I like to have on my DINC. I am tech support and get calls all the time: 1. On my TP2 when on a call and a new incoming call comes in I can reject that call with a 'send txt' button and it send the caller a text I pre-created to let them know I am busy. Is it possible to do this on the DINC? 2. There is a free app my TP2 uses to record all calls automatically and it helps me because I cannot not write many times when I am driving or running network in a ceiling so the ability to playback a saved call is huge. Is there a app out there anyone use to record calls on the DINC? (pls do not concern me about the legal side this is for me and me only and there are apps that can do it which I am doing now)..
View 5 Replies View RelatedI switched from my Motorola Droid to the Incredible a few days ago and the one thing I have noticed is that on the Motorola in landscape mode on the touchscreen keyboard was a send button to send the text right from that screen. Is this possible on the incredible in anyway on sense ui? Its driving me nuts to have to lower the keyboard or hit back button to send it. Any idea? I know its a minimal problem, but its annoying to me.

View 10 Replies View RelatedFound out yesterday that my "computer" is not sending text messages (using the native app). It caused an argument between my wife and I, and about damn-near caused a divorce. The bad thing is that, from what I can tell, it hasn't been sending ANY for a couple of days now. (Notice I didn't say that a potential divorce was not the bad thing ) I can receive texts all day long, not able to send them. In the time that I wasn't able to send them, I wasn't receiving any notifications that the text wasn't sent! I can go into the app, menu > undelivered and see 2 dozen texts there. Why am I not getting a failure notification if I have "Failure Notification" checked in the settings?
Because it went on for so long before being noticed, I have no way of knowing if I screwed around with the settings or if an app I downloaded has caused the problem. I've been tempted to use Handcent, but I'm leery about using something that radically changes the interface when I am a new Superphone and new Android user. Besides, it may not fix the problem.
So, is there a way to send a text message when your in landscape mode without hitting the key that minimizes the keyboard first?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy HTC Desire was running well but I've developed a really irritating issue which seems to have started since the Froyo update (O2). Quite often when I send text/sms messages I get the Unable To Send error warning in the top left of the main screen. At first I was hitting the Resend option all the time but it keeps coming back and I noticed that if I check my text messages All Messages box then the message has actually been sent, yet the Unable to Send message persists until I use the Clear option. Has anyone else noticed the same thing?

In sense, you could start searching for contacts from the phone's dialpad using the T9 system - but that system doesn't exist here. Yes, I have some starred contacts - and the phone log "helps". But I can't star everyone (defeats the purpose) and going back through the phone log can be more trouble than just going into contacts and searching.

So I emailed myself a few pictures the other day and I received an error message saying 'can't send email, account settings are incorrect' in the notification bar. I send a test email from my phone to another email address and i got it just fine and I send an email to my phone and got it just fine as well.. The frustrating part is that I get that 'cant send email' notification every 30 minuntes and it sounds just like Im getting a text so its even more annoying and I cant stop it.
Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?
I have an Evo. How can I send a text in a certain day and time? If there's another SMS software that allows that please mention.
