For some reason after boot as soon as I get to see the slide to unlock screen a random MP3 I have starts playing until I go into the music app and pause it... any ideas why this is happening?

I just installed a custom bootanimation.zip on my phone and it looked like all was well for a moment until the screen went blank 1/3 or so through the animation. The beginning worked properly and the animation began to play, my old startup sound then play(I never changed that) but then the screen went black several seconds after the start sound played.

I have a 3.5 mm jack cable but for some reason the music is only playing through the phone speaker. Is there a setting I'm missing?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was just looking into getting a new receiver for my car since my current one doesn't put out rear-left audio. Looking at all these new decks that have usb inputs to play music from ipods and usb sticks got me thinking about the Inc. I read a bit about some other people having mixed results here - different phones, receiver brands, onboard/sd cards, etc. Has anyone tried this or have a usb input in their car and could try it? I'd love to have the option but I won't worry about a usb port if it won't recognize it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedFor those of you using Pandora have you experienced an issue that after two to three songs Pandora just stops playing as long as your phone is stationary. If you have a phone and use Pandora can you do a test that you turn up Pandora put it down on the table and let it play for at least three songs and let me know if you have an issue. Now it needs to be on the network and not WIFI and the phone MUST be stationary.

When I got to the phone, The home screen was normal. I held the home button to see what apps were recently opened and none of them were music related. I hadn't even listened to any mp3s on the device in days.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis doesn't always happen but when it does, Slacker stops playing after every 2 or so songs. I get a message box that reads "Warning! Unable to find active data or WiFi connection. Would you like to quit the application?" and gives me Yes or No options. Clicking No returns me to the Stations list where selecting any station returns me to the one previously playing and starts the next song when I hit Play.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a HTC Incredible and when I start to play music, my downloaded voicemails start looping and playing over the music. I can hit pause, but then they'll automatically start playing. When hitting menu, there is no option to delete. Only options are "shuffle on, search, exit, get art, concerts and more" Exit doesn't work. As soon as I start listening to music, the voicemails turn right back on. I have turned the phone completely off and on again, and still the voicemails just keep on playing over the music.
View 1 Replies View Relatedthe music i downloaded will force close anywhere between 30 seconds to one minute of play. I used the music program that came with the incredible and now that won't work. I've downloaded another music player, but that still didn't work. The same thing has been happening with pandora also (I thought it was the updates but I can't get through more than 30-1min of any song). I removed the second music app and fildo (music download app) and pandora. Still does the same thing on the htc music. Should I try a factory reset? I'm just afraid it will delete my contacts.

View 13 Replies View RelatedSo I just hooked up a aux input on my car stereo and after a couple of days I noticed that when I unplug the headphones it automatically stops playing the music. This is awesome! I just unplug it when i get to work and i don't have to go in and push pause or stop. I love it. Question is... is there an app that will automatically start playing music from the player? So i could just plug it in and have the music start and then stop again when i unplug it. I only use the headphone jack and listen to music in the car.

Usually the music would fade back in after the voice prompt, but the music is completely stopping and has to be restarted manually. Not fun on an 8 hour drive...
View 11 Replies View RelatedI rooted a few days ago and did the forever S-off. I have ROM Manager loaded and was poking around in the system. I downloaded Skyraider and ROM Manager asked me to reboot. Not thinking it wouldn't let me know what it was doing when in recovery before doing something the rom had been applied. Now the Phone has for 40+ minutes been at the "HTC Incredible" boot screen.
I have read not to pull the battery but The power Button and Volume button do nothing so I could really use some suggestions. As a little more info I have not flashed the radio yet so it was a 1.x radio that a 2.2 rom was just seemingly applied to.
Bricked or recoverable? I have a Nandroid backup if someone can help me get back to that point...
I would like to change the boot animation on my droid incredible I saw these 2 threads on here. I downloaded all the zip files and I've been trying to change the boot animation with terminal emulator. I'd like to change to the boot animation with the droid peeing on the apple logo. I'm have no knowledge of programming and the more I read these the more confused I become. Has anyone been able to change the boot animation using terminal emulator? Ever time I try to change it the apps keeps telling me "permission denied."

View 5 Replies View RelatedI rooted my HTC Droid Incredible with and it ran fine afterwards. Then I changed a couple of the files in /system/framework and that apparently was a bad idea, 'cause now my phone won't boot. It just stops at a white screen that says "HTC Incredible". I'd made backups of my system and programs through ClockworkMod and TitaniumBackup, but unlike when I screw something up with my Droid X, I never get a clockworkmod recovery screen with the Incredible. I can get to HBOOT, but running recovery or factory reset gets me nothing but a black screen with white bars. After backing up my sd card via an adapter, I formatted the card and copied to it some stock image file I found on some forum and rebooted, but that didn't do anything. Not sure what information I need to provide. The Rom was stock. According to the HBOOT screen I've got HBOOT-0.92.0000, s-off, and RADIO-2.15.00.07.28. I still have the clockwork mod backup on my PC from when I backed up my SD Card.

I downloaded Jager Rom from ROM Manager and really....really want to get rid of the boot noise. It announces that I'm messing with my phone to the entire office. I looked in /data/local and don't see it. Anyone know where to kill this annoyance? Otherwise, I like the ROM and I'm switching back and forth between Virtuous for Sense and Jager for nonsense.
