So ive tried Pandora Last.Fm Slacker and im trying to listen to it plugged into my surround sound. Well when the phones screen turns off after a minute or so the music gets killed.How do i prevent this?

Recently I've been having an issue with Google Play Music where when I play a song, it plays for a second then pauses, so I have to press play to get it going again. This occurs repetitively which means I can't listen to music.
It happens on songs that are being streamed and on songs that are on the device.
Funnily enough, if the song is played through ES file explorer and the little play music popup window comes up, it plays fine.
I've got this issue on both my devices, a tf101 running 4.3 and a nexus 5 with stock 4.4 rooted.
Edit: just remembered, I've also got this issue with MX Player and videos. I can't figure out what's wrong.
Streamed videos played through the gallery video player work fine.
does anybody know where i can buy something that connects to my incredible through Bluetooth and then transmits the sound to the radio like the one Verizon has but cheaper.

The Google Voice search is really helpful and thus far, I've had success getting Google search results, as well as using it to call contacts, handsfree.
I was wondering if its possible to use it to play music hands free. I see that there is an option for it under searchable items by going to Menu>Search>Searchable Items>Music, but I haven't been able to get any results by saying things like "play artist Radiohead" or just saying "Radiohead". It just brings up web search results.

I recently had to play a song often and i wanted to do it quickly.I did one method.However, i request all here to tell me your way of opening the mp3 or video file very quickly.Generally i believe that everyone goes to gallery or video player or audio player and they go navigate to that particular song and play it. Depends on the size and gauge of the wire of your headphones. Also depends on the position of the wires. FM radio is a little picky, but works fine- depending on the points mentioned. Old & wrong: The FM radio on the Inc must be the weakest radio in a phone, evah! Just tried it today and picks up half the channels my Ngage and N900 pick up well. A lot of channels barely come in, or are static filled. I thought Steely Dan said "FM has no static at all"? Makes the CDMA radio seem not that bad, in comparison I know- at LEAST it has a radio. Must be set to suppa powwa savva mode

As I have the kit to mount the Desire in the car (for Google Navigation) it was a straight swap of one charger for another.
You set a station on the radio and the sound from your phone is transmitted to the the car radio. A great product that is simple to use and just works. The sound quality is good and I am very happy with this product.
Note: Very slight hiss if you crank up the radio too much, better to increase the volume on the phone first.

when I want to stream one particular song I noticed that the Google Play Music app downloads and caches the previous/next few songs for quicker access. How can I prevent this? It uses a lot of data and I usually only want to listen to the one song I chose to stream.
For example if I play a 6 mb song i noticed it uses about 40 mb to stream just that one song. Then I selected a different song to stream and immediately went into settings > download queue and noticed it was loading more songs than the one I requested. I only want to listen to the 1 song I chose, so how can I prevent the other songs from loading? As far as I can see there is no way in the app's settings but there has to be another way to stop this inconvenience.
P.S. I have a T999 galaxy s3 running on stock rooted ICS

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm from India and we do not have full play store. As soon as I login even when using USA VPN, play store shows me only apps and not the full version. as soon as i logout i can again view full play store.
Till 2 days ago I was able to access full site after login. On same PC when I use my brother's id I can see full play store. Something wrong with my account. It seems like Google has blocked my account for these services. M not able to make any purchases other than from App section.
I downloaded it but can't get it to play. Keeps saying DATA CONNECTION LOST.

I assume that the EVO 4G can play full length videos (via microSD?). How do you put the video onto the device and play it. Is there a designated application & software client, or is it just drag and drop (onto the microSD) and watch the video through the HTC Player? The reason I'm asking is because I do not have an EVO, but i do have a HTC Sense enabled phone. So by theory, since the phones are both running the same OS/UI, couldnt i watch movies on my HTC Eris?

I have two .m3u files and one .pls that I've tried in the stock player, Meridian, Astro mp, WinAmp Mobile, StreamFurious pro, and RadioHeart, but none of them will play it.
