I got the Incredible and my Video Camera wont use flash, its always greyed out.
Ny weather wont automatically receive the updates. When I tell it to and click update automatically and update once a day it continually turns off once I exit out.

Just had my new Desire (old one was faulty) & the weather app will not update. I've ticked the Update automatically button, in the weather settings, but when I go back to it, the settings default to not being ticked?? I didn't have this problem before. Also this new Desire seems very slow & sluggish, compared to my last one.
View 5 Replies View RelatedGot my new desire a few weeks ago on o2, I am having problems with the HTC weather & flip clock widget (the one you get with it), when I go to the weather settings and set the auto update for every hour (or any interval) I do not save the settings, the auto update is always unchecked when I go back to check. Done the usual things remove the widget and added it again to the screen but still does not work.
View 19 Replies View RelatedIf you go to menu > settings > accounts & sync, there is a checkbox for Auto-sync. This seems like the only way to have the weather on the flipclock widget auto update.
However, I do NOT want Google contacts to be auto-updated... I dont use Google contacts, all my contacts are Phone contacts, and I want to keep it that way.
Is there a solution?
Does anyone know if the 2.0, 2.1 update will have auto-flash?? i think this is the only thing missing now in the xperia!

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo one of the cool things about Froyo is being able to check off Enable Automatic Update for market apps. So i have that checked off for like 80+% of my 80+ apps (that took a while to do let me tell you). Now i have had three apps have updates available since i checked off the box, yet they never actually automatically updated. I waited, hours, still never updated. Is there a setting i need to modify? Do i need to tell it what time of day to do it? Anyone else noticing this? I only really want it in apps that i don't care about reading the new features. But it is annoying that i have it enabled and it does nothing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI believe Facebook has updated their Flash requirements, every time I try and watch a video I get a n error message with a "update Adobe Flash Player", I've tried opening the link but it will not download. I have found the Play Store no longer supports Adobe Flash Player so I've tried to manually install the latest android v4.0 software from the archives files but even after installation it still does not let me view. I can view all the videos on my PC without a problem.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to install a new rom, and make it a nice clean fresh install. I wipe the cache, I flash the rom. As soon as I log in with my gmail account during setup, the phone downloads all the apps I had and the wall paper and a bunch of other stuff.
I do not want it to do this. I really really want to restore what I want when I want. Thats why I bought Titanium Backup. Does anyone have any ideas on:
1. Why this happens,
2. How to make it stop?
The weather widget on my Incredible (the one with the flip clock) will not auto update. I tap the sun/moon to get into the weather gadget, tap settings, on the top is a box to allow auto update. When its checked I get a warning of data use, allow, then back out to home. When I go back to weather settings, the box isn't checked.

View 7 Replies View RelatedEver since I upgraded to 2.2 with Flash 10.1 I have been unable to jump ahead in flash videos on the web. Whenever I click the scrollbar for the video, it just pauses the playback. Even when I fullscreen it and play it without anything else on the screen, I have the same problem. It seems to treat the entire flash player as one object rather than different objects within the player. Anyone else having issues fast forwarding flash video? It worked no problem with Flash-lite on 2.1.

Just got my Froyo update today. After reviewing the changes vs various web articles and videos online about the changes, I am apparently missing some things. Examples: I didn't get Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and I can't find it in the market to D/L. My Camera does not have the new features.

View 15 Replies View RelatedIt's been a couple months, so I'm not clear. My Inc is rooted on 2.2, but otherwise factory. I have S-OFF set, so I can flash whatever I want. If I flash a factory recovery onto the phone won't the OTA update take? Then I can just use ROM MGR to flash back the ClockWork recovery. Is this a bad assumption? I do have the factory 2.2 recovery which I can flash.
