Flash Player 10.1 Release Notes
Just got my Froyo update today. After reviewing the changes vs various web articles and videos online about the changes, I am apparently missing some things. Examples: I didn't get Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and I can't find it in the market to D/L. My Camera does not have the new features.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI was one of the people who got the OTA and when I clicked "install" it just sat there. So OTA did not install for me. However, I downloaded the .zip from xda developers, and I want to flash it manually.
View 6 Replies View Relatedi downloaded the newest radio update and i booted into clockworkmod and installed but when i went into about phone the radio version stayed the same..
View 10 Replies View RelatedThis morning I am showing a flash update on the 10.1 apk I install from these forums. Any else seeing this? Where can we find the apk?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed the Flash 10.1 APK on my phone a while ago while running 2.1 and it worked great but now that I updated to 2.2 not one single video on any website will play....any ideas as to why it stopped working? Should i unistall the APK and download Flash again from the market?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt's been a couple months, so I'm not clear. My Inc is rooted on 2.2, but otherwise factory. I have S-OFF set, so I can flash whatever I want. If I flash a factory recovery onto the phone won't the OTA update take? Then I can just use ROM MGR to flash back the ClockWork recovery. Is this a bad assumption? I do have the factory 2.2 recovery which I can flash.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I'm currently at stock after using PB31IMG to unroot and am now trying to update the radio to 2.05 so I can flash SkyRaider 2.2
Anytime I try and run the update in recovery I get the error message...
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command (this comes up before even trying to run the update)
I cant update flash on this rom. has anyone else ran into this problem?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I click to open the app page it says not found. Anyone else get this? Anyway to update? Btw I have the 10.1 update that was posted here a month ago.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI updated to Froyo with the RUU from xda and immediately noticed slow and laggy scrolling on web pages. I noticed that although I did have flash 10.1, the version number was 10.1.72.? I found a version 10.1.92.8 on the droid life forums, updated to this version and the slow scrolling is gone.
View 49 Replies View RelatedI got the Incredible and my Video Camera wont use flash, its always greyed out.
Ny weather wont automatically receive the updates. When I tell it to and click update automatically and update once a day it continually turns off once I exit out.
Just tested on known problematic flash sites and sound is corrected with this update. (10.1.95.2)
View 13 Replies View RelatedHas anyone used HBOGo on the Incredible since the froyo and flash update? Everytime I go to the website I can't do anything. It would be nice to watch movies and hbo films on my phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was quite excited to have flash on my mobile devise and as I have an unlimited subscription to Lovefilm I was looking forward to watching the on demand movies for free. But I was disappointed when I was met by the message "does not support this type of flash". Is there an update or an app I can use? Lovefilm uses Flash Player 10.
View 7 Replies View RelatedOnee the " official" fryo comes out will I have to flash to stock then update or can I just apply the update to my rooted phone?
View 6 Replies View RelatedSo how many of you evo owners have tried the update? i got sick of going on appbrain and seeing that it wanted the update so i just did this...

Aanyone having any issues with flash after 2.2 update? Anytime I try to go to a flash based site, say m.flash.com, either my browser force closes (dolphin hd or included browser) or shows a screen with a "download arrow". Clicking on the arrow force closes the browser.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAppBrain is saying there is an update available for Adobe Flash 10.1 but there's no way of updating it. It keeps saying "requested item could not be found" because it's not on the market. Is there really an update for EVO 4G or is this an AppBrain bug?
Our version is 10.1.72.7 but according to this:
Flash Player 10.1 for Android 2.2 Release Notes
The build number for Flash Player 10.1 for Android 2.2 is 10.1.92.8
Im trying to flash after update.. i have rom manager and downloaded volacity and it reboots shows droid with warning sign and it just reboots and verizon logo pops up and everything is the same am i doing something wrong.. and i did wipe data
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm looking at appBrain and it says there is a flash update available. but when I click on it it tells me that the item cannot be found. I'm assuming this is because flash app is not found on the market. so how do I go about getting this update?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have disabled auto updates ,but on two occasions now the Flash update has installed without my knowledge.
Any way of preventing it ,i know it would be nice to keep it updated ,but not at the expense of 10mb of valuable space.
Flash 10.1.95.2 is now available in the market place. After the OTA yesterday there were issues with CBS.com and a few other sites where Video and Audio were out of Sync and Audio sounded real bad.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a question for someone more tech savvy than myself. I am rooted and downgraded the Hboot because I was a leaker. ;-) I am wondering if it is possible to only update the Kernel and not flash a whole ROM? The reason I ask this is I would like to enable over clocking with just the stock Eris 2.1. Can you flash just a new Kernel?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just flashed back to 2.1 using RSDlite 4.7 and the sbf file, but is my operating system up to date? As soon as I flashed it, i rooted it and that all works fine, but i hear that rooting doesn't allow OTA updates. I went into settings and found that my phone said it was up to date, but idk if this is accurate with rooting right after the sbf flash.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I just flashed the new Damage Control ROM (2.08) on my Sprint HTC Hero, and I wanted to flash the .zip file for live wallpapers.....how do I do this? Am I supposed to rename it as update.zip or something and put it on my sd card? and then what...?
View 1 Replies View RelatedBasically I was trying out the appbrain app the other day which suggests apps to download. One of these recommendations was to update my flash player 10.1. I did this as suggested but it ate up about 10mb of my internal memory! Leaving me with that dreaded 'low on space' message. Anyway I uninstall the update and all was well. But now when i go on the market it downloads automatically and its really annoying me. So... do I need it? What's the benefit? And how do I make it go from downloaded apps tab in market?
View 12 Replies View RelatedOr is it embedded during the update ? I recently did the 2.2 OTA update, flash websites are working in the browser but im not sure if thats using the Flash Lite or 10.1.
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust wanted to get a list started of websites that are now accessible with the Flash support in the Froyo update.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI thought the 2.1 update would include the Flash player but apparently that is not so. Is there another way to install it?
