View 3 Replies View RelatedMy auto focus has been really inconsistent recently, some days it will work for a little but for the most part it doesn't focus anymore. I've also been having a lot of issues with the headphone jack, what should I do? btw, my insurance on my phone is protectcell. Do you think they would consider upgrading me to a Droid 2 or a better phone? (my phones rooted, I changed roms to see if that was the issue, but the problem still occurs)
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust wondering what everyone is using for camera settings. I'm getting great pictures outdoors but my pictures taken inside have a lot of noise (don't know if that's the term I want but they look fuzzy). I literally know nothing about cameras so I'm pretty hopeless figuring out this problem. And maybe some other camera noobs can get some good ideas from this thread too
View 5 Replies View RelatedCan anyone please help me with this. When I press the camera button on the right side of my Milestone, I get the "New message" screen. Does anyone know how to change this back to camera mode?
View 2 Replies View Related1. after taking a picture, and clicking on the thumbnail to view it, have the phone let you view it in portrait, not landscape only.
2. on board image resizing, the 5, 3 and 2mp options dont cut it. let us choose 640x480(all MP's), 800X600(all MPs) 1024x768, etc..
3. when in camera settings, when you click back to get back to the options it closes the whole settings slider. which is annoying.
i want to know how i can find call timer or summary in my htc desire phone?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an old website i need to access , and it uses function keys to scroll through pages...I haven't been able to find a way to use the function keys, I ve tried swype, htc, and androids keyboard to no avail. Anyone know of a keyboard that has these keys mapped?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI know that a lot of you have been having issues with this app. I thought that I'd try to make some suggestions that could or could not solve things.
- Make sure that you press the "Turn on alarm" check box at the very top of an alarm. I've missed it once before (my first time) and thought it was on because I pressed "Done" and even though it said that it was set for "6 hours and 53 minutes from now", it wasn't activated.
- Turn on "Vibrate" and have it rest on a wooden surface, like a night stand for example.
- Have "Repeat" set to the day that you want it on, even if its just for that day. This has helped some people.
- Have the "Backup alarm" on just in case.
- Have the volume turned all the way up. This definitely wakes me up every time because it can get really loud, especially when you're sleepy.
- Instead of playing one of the stock alarm ringtones, play an MP3 file. Play a song that can get loud, but I recommend to turn on "Volume" (which increases the volume gradually) so it doesn't startle you.
- Make sure that the speaker on the back isn't at risk of any muffling by fabric.
- Turn your phone over on its front to completely expose the speaker.
Go ahead and try a test alarm with all of these in mind (like set it to go off in 2 minutes) and see how it works out. I've made my mistakes by accidentally leaving it on a T-shirt (which definitely muffled the sound), forgetting to turn up the volume loud enough, and by forgetting to actually press "Turn on alarm" (as previously stated). If any of those suggestions do not work out for you, then you're on your own with a 3rd party app.
I have an automated test that creates a SQLite database. In the setup of the test I want to drop the database if it already exists. The problem is that I cannot find a function that deletes/drops a database. That seems like an odd omission. Help?

View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyone have experience with a good countdown timer that works well with Droid? I think I downloaded the "Ultimate Stopwatch" once and it didn't work well (The alarm sound was way too soft). There are dozens of timer apps, and it seems people have various problems with all of them, aside from maybe a few pay ones. But I just want something really simple. Just for timing things like cooking stuff in the oven and poker games. Any suggestions?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs the alarm on the installed countdown timer really really low on everyone else's phone? I use the same style ringer for my alarm clock and timer. The clock is fine, but the timer alarm is so low it can barely be heard at the highest setting, 7. Is this normal?
View 8 Replies View RelatedIt seems like the 8mp camera is very sensitive to just a little bit of camera shake, is there any way around this? I don't see an option for stability control at all?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWould I be right in thinking that when you are using the video camera you can't use the zoom function? I pressed every button and touched the screen a few times but nothing did it, had to stop filming, zoom in and start again.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am not sure which is the culprit, but while playing back video or even at random times, the screen shifts lighter or darker seemingly at random, and one time during a video playback on the TV.com app, it went black altogether. I am not sure whether it is the timer or the ambient light sensor, but I am tempted to turn the sensor off and push the timer back a lot.
View 1 Replies View RelatedTried looking around but couldn't find what i was looking for/people didn't respond to the other posts... so is it just me or is it super hard looking for a good music player...
currently I'm using cubed but i dont like it. people swear by it but im not following. its seems a bit clunky, it scrolls terribly, and i dont like the lockscreen controls.
for my question. i can deal with a music player like cubed BUT I'm looking for a music player with lockscreen controls that doesn't disable the timer/alarm notices. the lockscreen controls with cubed is $#!t. you press "unlock" even by accident and it unlocks (dont like that). and it doesn't even show you the time, so i have to completely unlock the phone and lock it again just to view the time. AND i cant see when my next alarm is going to go off. really inconvenient.
Does anyone know of a music player that has lockscreen controls that does not disable the clock/alarm notices when you wake up the phone before you unlock it?
I see a ton of results when searching for how to open the camera, and get the returned image. What about simply opening the camera app without any return at all? I just want the camera to function as normal.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm Trying to fine tune the Camera settings and was wondering if you guys changed the settings around and got better Pictures/Video and what did you change your settings to? I'm more concerned about fine tuning the video Settings even though i know both the Camera/Camcorder share the same settings.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just updated my hero phone and I was surprised it worked ok, normally things for me go wrong. However before when using the camera the zoom bar appeared on the left hand edge of the camera display and I could zoom using the trackball.
Now it has an icon on the left to go to my albums and no zoom scale. I can select it from the menu but again I cant zoom using the trackball. Anyone know how to get this back if possible?
I cant figure out why my camera button is tiggering the volume and not the camera. Every time I press it to use my camera it keeps lowering my ringer volume and when im in the camera mode(from app) it wont snap any pics, it just takes me back to my main page and lower the volume. Can anyone help me out?

Also, when the history seems to be removed and i hit back button it goes back to the site anyway. any ideas?
So I spent the last hour or more in my backyard in 107 degrees taking pictures of flowers at stock settings with both phones. NOT an easy task I will tell you that. My back hurts, but besides that... I did my best to show the best quality of BOTH cameras, because they are both great. I realize that not everyone will agree with me, or will think I messed with something in my pictures. But these are all completely stock settings, not messed with at all. I only touched the flash on/off button.
My decision is I like the X camera better, it is easier to focus, and much snappier. Plus designated camera button! I found on the Incredible while the pictures look great on the phone itself and in gallery, that as soon as they were uploaded the colours looked washed out and not as great. I know this is due to the AMOLED screen. But both overall great. My decision is the X though.
