Does anyone know of a power control widget that has a reliable 3G toggle? I know that there is the singular one that come with Sense but I am trying Launcher Pro and really need that functionality. You would think that if HTC can make one another developer could do it too.....

View 2 Replies View RelatedSearched all over the forums and internet for an answer but came up blank.I downloaded an app called power control and installed it. It screwed up my contact list so I wanted to uninstall it. Not just remove it from my desktop, but full uninstall is what I'm after.Did a search for it in the android market and could not find it anywhere again to uninstall it that way. Tried using Astro File Manager to uninstall but does not show up there.The only place it shows up on my phone is in the bottom menu bar ( menu, phone, + ) I hit + -----> widgets ------> power control. Anybody have an ideas on how to uninstall this thing ?
View 7 Replies View RelatedThe "automatic" brightness setting sucks. It doesn't detect high light situations, like being outdoors. To get the proper brightness you need to use the power control widget to set the brightness up to see it in sunlight. Not a big deal, but after using the widget you either have to manually reset it to automatic in the settings, turn the brightness off or on high. Its just kind of annoying. When your in sunlight without the brightness up to the highest level I can see nothing on the phone. Literally the screen appears to be off. Is this just my phone, or does the incredible really not sense high light situations.

I dug around in cm6 for a bit thinking it was as simple as pulling the apk and installing in a new rom but I think I was mistaken because I can't seem to find it. Can it be done and if so, can somebody point me in the right direction (or just do it if it's easy enough )?

I saw this yesterday the GPS was all wacky and GN wouldn't lock but maps would. I restarted the phone, and it worked great. I see this from time to time.

View 13 Replies View RelatedJust got my EVO a couple days ago so I am still learning. Where do I download widgets?? Also it has a widget to turn on and off 4g, wifi, gps. Is there any way that I can add a toggle for turning on off mobile network and cdma vs. gsm? I have a horrible signal at my office so the phone constantly searches for a signal and kills my battery. I don't want to turn on airplane mode because I do still get calls and need my phone to at least kind of work.

I have to go through Settings/Wireless & networks/ then tap Wifi Settings, and it will automatically connect. I don't have to choose a network, I just tap on Wifi Settings and then it connects.

I could see the source code for the "basic" power control widget here (this one has only 5 options).
I'm wondering if the source code for the version I have is available somewhere.
I currently have the SkyRaider 2.5.2 Vanilla ROM installed. I am wondering if there is a way I can get the 3G widget from htc sense on here somehow. I know this ROM still has a few sense applications and visualization, so maybe it is possible? I have been looking in the market with no luck None of the ones I have installed has worked so far.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust recently I've been noticing my Wi-Fi toggle widget acting up. It seems like it doesn't want to turn on my wi-fi for some reason. I've tried both stock wi-fi widgets and when I press them I see the green switch flip, but no wi-fi goes on. Only when I go into Menu -> Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Wi-Fi Settings do I see "out of range" suddenly disappear and then I'm connected. My wi-fi won't turn on unless I actually watch it do so. Has this happened to anyone else?

View 6 Replies View RelatedOne of the things I liked about Sense (I'm rooted now and running the Second Wave ROM) was the HTC weather animations when the screen was unlocked. After installing Widget Locker, I noticed an option to turn them on and now I have them back! I also installed the Weather & Toggle Widget and installed the weather skin that looks just like the Sense weather with the flip clock.The annoying part is that when it's sunny, or partly sunny, the "sun animation" from Sense doesn't perfectly align with the Weather & Toggle Widget weather icon. I know, I know, it's a minor problem and goes away when the animation is done, but the lack of symmetry sometimes annoys the hell out of me.
