View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the Samsung Galaxy S3 (Japanese version) and in my notification bar, I can see the Power Control Widget. But in my phone there are 9 options (wifi, power saving, data, notification, etc.).
I could see the source code for the "basic" power control widget here (this one has only 5 options).
I'm wondering if the source code for the version I have is available somewhere.
I'm flashing my device with odin boy after successful flashing my device getting reboot itself... I fed to flash again & again. start up normally. Even i'm unable to flash through cwm recovery bcoz it does not shows the external memory card so that i can flash rom from ext card..img recovery which detects the ext card.

View 9 Replies View RelatedOdin only detect my Samsung Galaxy Pocket S5300 when the power is off.
In a meanwhile:
- Odin cannot detect in Download mode.
- KIES is able to connect, detect & do the backup.
- I've tried many versions of Odins.
- Odin(s) is able to detect other phone (Galaxy Mini S5570).
- PC could detect the driver and do the file transfer.
Why only when the power off id:com turns into yellow (or green in Odin 3) ????
I was searching online to see how to make a shortcut to toggle the 3G connection on and off without having to sift through multiple menus. I came across the method of having a long press on the power lock button to pull up the menu but mine does not show the network data on/off option and never has. It only shows
* Silent mode
* Airplane mode
* Power off
* Restart
Nothing else. Is there a way I can make a shortcut or some other way to ADD the network data on/off on this pull up menu from the power lock button? By the way why would my phone not have this option from the start when the phone came with Gingerbread and was updated to ICS 4.0.4? I have Sprint so they call this the Epic 4G Touch, so not sure if it was Sprint that buggered this from the other SGS2s that have this feature or not.
I was trying to check the power control options to see if anything was draining my battery too much. There are 5 boxes but nothing says what they are?? Just pics. Can someone tell me what each one means?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to compile the original code for the power control widget from the "settings" app, but it won't because of the missing / hidden / internal classes,I remember with a modified Settings apk with more or modified buttons in the widget.
View 1 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone have an issue where if they toggle GPS off using the power widget, then goes back to re-enable the GPS, the GPS doesn't quite work right. I saw this yesterday the GPS was all wacky and GN wouldn't lock but maps would. I restarted the phone, and it worked great. I see this from time to time.
View 7 Replies View RelatedJust got my EVO a couple days ago so I am still learning. Where do I download widgets?? Also it has a widget to turn on and off 4g, wifi, gps. Is there any way that I can add a toggle for turning on off mobile network and cdma vs. gsm? I have a horrible signal at my office so the phone constantly searches for a signal and kills my battery. I don't want to turn on airplane mode because I do still get calls and need my phone to at least kind of work.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSearched all over the forums and internet for an answer but came up blank.I downloaded an app called power control and installed it. It screwed up my contact list so I wanted to uninstall it. Not just remove it from my desktop, but full uninstall is what I'm after.Did a search for it in the android market and could not find it anywhere again to uninstall it that way. Tried using Astro File Manager to uninstall but does not show up there.The only place it shows up on my phone is in the bottom menu bar ( menu, phone, + ) I hit + -----> widgets ------> power control. Anybody have an ideas on how to uninstall this thing ?

View 19 Replies View RelatedThe "automatic" brightness setting sucks. It doesn't detect high light situations, like being outdoors. To get the proper brightness you need to use the power control widget to set the brightness up to see it in sunlight. Not a big deal, but after using the widget you either have to manually reset it to automatic in the settings, turn the brightness off or on high. Its just kind of annoying. When your in sunlight without the brightness up to the highest level I can see nothing on the phone. Literally the screen appears to be off. Is this just my phone, or does the incredible really not sense high light situations.

I have to go through Settings/Wireless & networks/ then tap Wifi Settings, and it will automatically connect. I don't have to choose a network, I just tap on Wifi Settings and then it connects.
