i know there are brightness toggle apps out there but im looking for one that looks like it belongs on the sense interface. i want it to blend with the wifi and bluetooth ones. anyone know of something?

I currently have the SkyRaider 2.5.2 Vanilla ROM installed. I am wondering if there is a way I can get the 3G widget from htc sense on here somehow. I know this ROM still has a few sense applications and visualization, so maybe it is possible? I have been looking in the market with no luck None of the ones I have installed has worked so far.

Either its not there (as in, it wasnt a default widget) or I am completely blind. View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I was reading that a couple features 2.2 was supposed to add was making Auto-Brightness one of the settings on the Power widget. I'm not seeing this on my phone after the update. Is that the same for everybody or do I have to do something to make it work? (I've tried removing and re-adding the widget).Another benefit I saw was that you were supposed to be able to press & drag up on the keyboard to get the special character instead of having to press & hold. Also not seeing this. Is this because we don't have the stock keyboard in Sense or another issue?
I feel like this must be so obvious and I'm missing it. Just want a button I can hit to turn screen off without waiting for it to timeout on its own. Otherwise it seems to often do random stuff in my pocket if I am unwilling to wait to put it back.
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust recently I've been noticing my Wi-Fi toggle widget acting up. It seems like it doesn't want to turn on my wi-fi for some reason. I've tried both stock wi-fi widgets and when I press them I see the green switch flip, but no wi-fi goes on. Only when I go into Menu -> Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Wi-Fi Settings do I see "out of range" suddenly disappear and then I'm connected. My wi-fi won't turn on unless I actually watch it do so. Has this happened to anyone else?

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe "automatic" brightness setting sucks. It doesn't detect high light situations, like being outdoors. To get the proper brightness you need to use the power control widget to set the brightness up to see it in sunlight. Not a big deal, but after using the widget you either have to manually reset it to automatic in the settings, turn the brightness off or on high. Its just kind of annoying. When your in sunlight without the brightness up to the highest level I can see nothing on the phone. Literally the screen appears to be off. Is this just my phone, or does the incredible really not sense high light situations.
View 14 Replies View RelatedOne of the things I liked about Sense (I'm rooted now and running the Second Wave ROM) was the HTC weather animations when the screen was unlocked. After installing Widget Locker, I noticed an option to turn them on and now I have them back! I also installed the Weather & Toggle Widget and installed the weather skin that looks just like the Sense weather with the flip clock.The annoying part is that when it's sunny, or partly sunny, the "sun animation" from Sense doesn't perfectly align with the Weather & Toggle Widget weather icon. I know, I know, it's a minor problem and goes away when the animation is done, but the lack of symmetry sometimes annoys the hell out of me.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOne of the first things I did when I got my Evo was turn off HTC Sense - can't stand its gaudy widgets and general bloat. However, one thing I am missing is HTC's little toggle widgets - particularly the one that lets you turn on/off 4G. The native Android toggle widget doesn't let you control 4G. Does anyone know any 3rd-party / alternative widgets to toggle 4G? Given that it's the first 4G phone, they probably don't exist but it would be cool if someone with know, how could develop one!

As it turns out though bellingham is the only other Washington city besides Seattle that has 4g and I go there at least once a week to visit friends. There is no widget per se. I have to access it in the app drawer.
When I set a certain clock nothing happens. So I expected it to be the clock for either Beautiful Widgets or Beautiful Superclock
So is there a widget for "force GPU rendering" toggling on and off cause i am tired of going into settings to toggle that and i still need to toggle that quite often?

I saw this yesterday the GPS was all wacky and GN wouldn't lock but maps would. I restarted the phone, and it worked great. I see this from time to time.
