The past two days my INC has randomly restarted itself. Any ideas as to why? I just got the thing Saturday and of course downloaded a ton of apps, but that had never happened. I think the first time it happened was yesterday. Only app I recently downloaded that may be causing the problem is Toggle Settings. Has there been mention of that causing problems at all?

After surfing for a while, the browser occasionally has some issues.For example,I'll tap on a button on a form, and nothing will happen.Or I'll do a search, tap go, and no search happens.Powering the Incredible off and on fixes these issues.Is there a faster way?After having the phone for several days longer, I can say that this hasn't happened in days. Not sure what the issue was initially, but lately browsing has been rock solid.

All of a sudden the last two days my phone has been restarting randomly, mostly like two minutes into using the phone. It doesn't though go to the HTC Incredible screen but rather the HTC Quietly Brilliant, quickly to Verizon Wireless screen and into the OS. I see the CPU doing heavy duty work using all but 100% yet I checked System Panel and I don't see anything using that much usage. Again this has just started the last two days or so. Never before have I had this problem. Anyone else just in the last few days?

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy issue is with Facebook service, it keeps restarting. Each time I go into Running services, it shows it again, When I forcestop it. It will restart 5 minutes later or so. I've gone into facebook and turned off notifications and everything. It's been draining my battery, wondering if you could shed some light? I don't want to use a task killer, had issues with it in the past. I also do not have a facebook widget on any of my scenes

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC desire with Orange in the UK and up til now it's been pretty fantastic. For the last couple of weeks though, it goes through fazes daily of just switching off mid-use and restarting 5 or 6 times in a row. Sometimes it boots up fully before restarting, sometimes it cuts out mid start-up and goes again....it's rather annoying as I'm sure you can imagine!

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter rooting my evo, i installed the ava froyo everything was working but now the phone just keeps restarting every 3 minutes and pc won't recognize, also when charging phone shoes amber led (charging) light but the battery icon won't shows as charging. Try to go back to stock rom but can't because pc does not recognize the evo. When trying to open the command window and sending the code it gives me the error message device not found.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Desire is about 2 months old and has began rebooting at random times. At first it only happened if i was on a call whilst charging the phone. The phone cuts out then immediately restarts. The O2 screen appears, then the HTC screen then I have to enter my pin. On some occasions, It happens over and over again before I even get the pin entered. Since then, it has happened when the phone is charging and not being used, as well as when I am on a call, but not charging. The phone gets extremely hot near the bottom. I opened it and removed the battery and it is the phone not the battery that warms up. The battery stays cool. I have restored to factory default and installed no apps, but it still occurs randomly. O2 business said I can only have a re-furbished handset!! how does that work? surely if a product is faulted it should be replaced with a new unit. It was only 6-8 weeks old when i first reported it to them. Also the wall charger seems to get very hot, but only sometimes. Anyone come across anything similar with overheating handset or charger?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've tried hard reseting, nandroid restores and wiping all my data but my phone still won't boot. I had cyanogen 6 Rom installed on it and when I turned it on this morning the usual animation came up but after a minute it froze and kept restarting. I then tried all the things above and now it only gets the first solid looking X image and it doesn't move on to the animation. I have a feeling it was Rom manager that caused this as I clicked fix permissions last night.

Removes the tabs, but the activities still seem to be in alive, in limbo. How can I get them to really quit?
I've had the ally about 2 weeks now and about once a day it will re-start on its own. it sucks because sometimes I'll be in the middle of something. anybody else have this issue?

I have my location turned off, and privacy guard turned on, but somehow play services and Google maps can get my location? Google play store runs something called "daily hygiene"and all three of these apps restart themselves when I kill them. I don't need play services running, when only the location part of it is running. View 4 Replies View RelatedSo, I had this HTC Wildfire S that kept restarting and crashing. I then replaced the battery thinking that was the problem, but when that didn't work, I assumed it was the phones problem. Never did the SD card cross my mind, even though it had caused me issues before with unexpectedly removing itself.
I went out and bought a new, better phone, thinking it was time for one anyway. So then now I have a brand new Motorola Triumph, and I transfer my same SD card to it.
My question is... could it really be the SD card doing all this? I took the SD card out of the Motorola and it seems to be better now..
I've had my Droid for a little over 60 days, and I've recently started seeing what I consider a Major issue. This aside, I Love my Droid, but I've been ready to throw it through a wall lately. It's been restarting at LEAST 10, maybe even up to 20 times a day. I uninstalled every app I had on it to see if maybe it was an app causing the problem. I hadn't downloaded any new ones before I started noticing it, but it was worth exploring.
So far, it hasn't helped at All. It's still randomly restarting all the time. I don't even have to do anything with it. It's restarted 4 times in a row just sitting on my lap while I was driving home. I've heard my "Droid" notification and checked it, seeing that it was preparing the SD card. I've left it sitting and came back to it to find it's not running any of the pages I had up when I last put it down, etc.
Over the last few days, I've noticed my phone spontaneously restarting itself. It's happened at least 3 times since Friday, but those are the occasions it happened to be in eyeshot/earshot when it happened, so who knows how many times it's actually occurred.
I notice it also shows my up and awake time as being identical a little over 2 hours (which is how long it's been since the last random restart). It's been a bit laggier than usual, too. Not sure if either of those things are relevant or not, but thought I'd point them out.
the screen wont respond to anything. and it just keeps restarting itself... and when it turns to the home page.. it always says htc sense failed.

View 7 Replies View Related had my evo on charge and went to sleep with remote pc running, when I woke up it was really hot and kept restarting at the 4G animation. I mean, it was seriously on repeat, says 4g, then starts over again, then sprint 4g and restart. I can't get it to boot. I've tried booting with the usb connected, sd card in and out, everything. Nothing works. I even went to the recovery like I was doing an update to get it to at least reflash the firmware or something and it fails. Keep in mind, I updated a couple weeks ago with the newest EVO software manually (the one without the fps cap), so the file should still be on the SD card exactly how it was when I updated the software last.
This is what it gives me:

So I went to sleep last night with my phone on my bedside table i awoke this morning to androids on skateboards constantly restarting (yes I tried pulling out the battery and putting in back in).
I updated to 2.1 about 2 weeks ago, and no its not Rooted.
I did not do anything weird the night before either I am thoroughly confused and worried.
I am still able to get to the power/Vol down menu thing
I am going to try reinstalling the 2.1 update or somethig, I cannot think of anything else to try
Why do I have to keep quitting / restarting Pandora?
