Supposedly the new version of GDE allows icon packs, but I haven't seen any that are specifically for it and I tried one or two others and they didn't show up in the Icon section of the appearance menu. I have downloaded BetterCut but don't really care to learn how to make my own shortcuts for every app that I want to change the looks of. Do I just wait till someone makes specific packs for GDE or?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to download those LauncherPro icons as a pack instead of downloading them individually? The only reason I ask is because More Icons Widget only allows you to apply a custom icon if its from a pack, and I haven't found a gray/white icon pack that it that nice and complete.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI made some Icons just for fun so I thought I'd share them. Plenty of different Androids in different colors and then you'll find plenty of random things. Also theres one called invisible, I like to keep my main screen as clean and simple as possible. So I used the invisible .png image to create an icon for gmail and texting, the 2 things I use the most. On my main screen I only have a search bar and the two invisible icons, everything else is on other pages. But anyways the invisible one is in there if anyone wants to use it. Use better cut or something like that to use these.
I'm using Nextheme.

Anyone know how where I can get more dock icons like these? Mainly looking for a "Gallery" or "Pics" one (amongst a few others), and I haven't used PS in years so I don't think I could custom make one unless there's an easier method than making them from scratch.

Can you guys show me what your using so I can get a few different ideas? Also guys I'm thinking of changing my web browser from the stock one? Is there any big benefits of doing this? And which browser in your eyes is the best?

View 3 Replies View RelatedHas anyone download the template pack zip file from
http://android-developers.blogspot.com/2009/05/android-icon-guideline...
I get the following error as the download never goes through signature not found. Either this file is not a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on the last disk(s) of this archive.
Opening the menu icon template file from the Android Icon Templates Pack just shows two icon shapes in Photoshop CS2 on my PC, but there should be many more. I assume the file is corrupted or I still don't have the specifically needed version of Photoshop. Can anyone please provide a complete and compatible version of the Menu_Icons_master.psd? It would be sufficient to have all the basic Android menu icon shapes as .pdf files. From the .psd I can still read the gradients styles and so on. A few more details what I have tried so far.
I just downloaded the Android Icon Templates Pack v1.0 mentioned on the site:
http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/ui_guidelines/icon_desig...
Extracting the zip, the .psd file Menu_Icons_master.psd can be found in the menu folder. Opening it in my Photoshop CS2 first brought an error message that DroidSans font could not be found - I solved this issue by installing the DroidSans font from:
http://damieng.com/blog/2007/11/14/droid-font-family-courtesy-of-goog...
Restarting Photoshop and opening the file now brings no error message, but only the icon shapes for a house and a star are shown, missing all other menu icon shapes.
Once I create an icon using a icon from a pack do I have to keep the pack installed? I picked a few from different packs and I would like to clean up my phone if I can by getting rid of the packs. Will the icons revert back if the pack is gone? Also, if there are any really cool color icon packs out there let me know! I have seen the ones in the market but I haven't found anything I am screaming about!

View 5 Replies View RelatedHey guys I am a former Alltel customer who was transferred to Verizon. My current plan is awesome and includes the Connect Pack 1 (unlimited data) for $9.99. I am currently using an Alltel HTC Touch Pro and cannot wait for the Incredible. Does anyone know if there is a way to keep my Alltel Connect Pack 1 when I get the Incredible? I would REALLY hate to start paying an extra $20 a month for Verizons data plan and would love your ideas to avoid it.
