Android :: Icon Pack That Looks Like White In Power Strip?
Jan 18, 2010I really like the look of those white icons in the power strip. Are there any icon packs out there that have a similar look to them and work with BetterCut?

HTC Desire :: Power Strip Icons?
Jun 10, 2010I'm new to Andriod and in a place with poor WiFi and poor cell coverage but was able to download my first program yesterday "Olive Tree" and it works.
I don't understand all the icons on the power strip I put on my home page:
From left to right:
WiFi, Bluetooth, X.Y, Screen Brightness
Can some one explain X and Y?
Screen is set to medium.
I turn WiFi and Bluetooth on and off as needed. Is that good power mangegment?
At a conference so don't get to play much most of the day.
Also using the built in weather widget, not much connectivity sometimes it works, sometimes not.
Samsung Behold 2 :: Portable Power - Car/ac Charger Or A Stand Alone Power Pack
Jan 5, 2010Has anyone had any luck with aftermarket power supply's. I'd like a car/ac charger or a stand alone power pack. I usually use my DEXIM. but it does not work with the Behold 2. I've tried a car charger/battery unit by Wireless Gear that said it was compatible with all Samsung phones, it came with 5 power tips and a USB outlet that still would not work, even using the OEM USB cable. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I will go with OEM Samsung if necessary, but there selection is limited.

May 19, 2010Supposedly the new version of GDE allows icon packs, but I haven't seen any that are specifically for it and I tried one or two others and they didn't show up in the Icon section of the appearance menu. I have downloaded BetterCut but don't really care to learn how to make my own shortcuts for every app that I want to change the looks of. Do I just wait till someone makes specific packs for GDE or?

May 12, 2010I made some Icons just for fun so I thought I'd share them. Plenty of different Androids in different colors and then you'll find plenty of random things. Also theres one called invisible, I like to keep my main screen as clean and simple as possible. So I used the invisible .png image to create an icon for gmail and texting, the 2 things I use the most. On my main screen I only have a search bar and the two invisible icons, everything else is on other pages. But anyways the invisible one is in there if anyone wants to use it. Use better cut or something like that to use these.
I'm using Nextheme.

I added some PAC-Man style icons, several different characters,and 2 androids and other randoms. I found these and made icons with them, I did not create them.

Aug 20, 2010I'm currently using tenuis but was wondering what you guys use? I prefer cartoony icons as you might say however find it very hard too find examples of these icons on the net. Because of this its more trial and error when I download a pack. Can you guys show me what your using so I can get a few different ideas? Also guys I'm thinking of changing my web browser from the stock one? Is there any big benefits of doing this? And which browser in your eyes is the best?

Sep 12, 2010Is there a way to download those LauncherPro icons as a pack instead of downloading them individually? The only reason I ask is because More Icons Widget only allows you to apply a custom icon if its from a pack, and I haven't found a gray/white icon pack that it that nice and complete.

Most of my apps in the drawer become the same style as the icon pack but still some of the apps remained unchanged. e.g. Whatsapp+, custom camera apps.

Android :: Android Icon Templates Pack / PSD File Corrupted?
Jan 20, 2010Opening the menu icon template file from the Android Icon Templates Pack just shows two icon shapes in Photoshop CS2 on my PC, but there should be many more. I assume the file is corrupted or I still don't have the specifically needed version of Photoshop. Can anyone please provide a complete and compatible version of the Menu_Icons_master.psd? It would be sufficient to have all the basic Android menu icon shapes as .pdf files. From the .psd I can still read the gradients styles and so on. A few more details what I have tried so far.

Extracting the zip, the .psd file Menu_Icons_master.psd can be found in the menu folder. Opening it in my Photoshop CS2 first brought an error message that DroidSans font could not be found - I solved this issue by installing the DroidSans font from:

Restarting Photoshop and opening the file now brings no error message, but only the icon shapes for a house and a star are shown, missing all other menu icon shapes.
