HTC Incredible : Hotmail Doesn't Sync Properly - When Messages Are Deleted?
Aug 17, 2010Is anyone else having any problems where your mail doesn't sync properly to and from Hotmail when messages are deleted? Any suggestions?

HTC Desire :: Hotmail Messages / Only Deleted On Phone
May 7, 2010I have checked my hotmail messages through the phone and deleted messages, however when I log into hotmail on my computer the deleted messages are still showing in my inbox as new messages.How do you get it so that if they are deleted from hotmail on your phone they are gone for good with no need to delete them again once logged in elsewhere.

Nov 4, 2010Does anyone else notice this issue on the Dinc? I'm on to my second Dinc and it happens to that one as well: Once the battery gets in the "red" (i think 10% or 15%) it doesn't start charging at all unless it's been plugged in for 20 - 30 minutes. Regularly if you charge your battery (from the non-red level) you see the little lightning bolt appear and then you see the progress bar go higher and higher and reset and go higher, higher, etc. When the phone is in red status, you just see the lightening bolt and no progress is made. I tested this by leaving it plugged in for 10 - 15 minutes and unplugged it and it did not move up 1 percentage point. After 20 - 30 minutes suddenly you see the progress bar move. This really sucks because once your phone is in red, it takes a while before it starts charging. I brought my phone to Verizon, had it swapped out and my "new" (refurbed) phone does the same thing. Searched the forums and checked out google and found tons of battery issues, but nothing like this. Anyone else experiencing this?

Sep 13, 2010My messages were just deleted-- except for one text that had just been received. This is the second time this has happened. I assumed the first was a fluke, but would like to know why now that it's happened again.I've got 2.2 and the phone was sitting, screen off, next to me. I received a desktop notification saying I had a text, picked up the phone, and the only message left was that one text-- all others had been deleted.

May 19, 2010I had just sent an SMS and the phone goes black and said that HTC MMS has force closed. So I rebooted the phone go back into my messages and all of them are deleted. This has also happened once before without the force close just did it randomly after a reboot. Any way to get my messages back? Is there a way to back up my messages in case this happens again?

Oct 3, 2010Using Handcent for texts, but went into the Messages app and saw a bunch of "ghost" messages with a date of 12/31/69 (tap on the messages and they don't load). It turns out that when I receive a text it displays the correct date and time in both Handcent and Messages, but when I delete in in Handcent it goes into this "ghost" state in Messages. Has anybody else run into this?

Nov 12, 2010I spent some time cleaning off stock HTC apps (Facebook.apk, HTC Facebook and Friend Stream included), but now all my contacts under People are no longer linked to any Facebook accounts. If I go to the Global tab, there is no option to refresh Facebook friends list. I've tried re-installing Facebook for Android, and I've also tried downloading the Facebook.apk and adding it back into /system/app. Really, all I want ot do is sync Facebook with my phone contacts to pull in pics and birthdays, I don't care about Friend Stream or HTC's stock FB app. Anyone know what to do?

Aug 23, 2010I sink my Hotmail account, but have a lot of problems with it. If I delete messages, they sometimes come back. Also, anything I do on my phone doesn't translate to my account online. Aug 20, 2010Since I got my Dinc back in June I have pretty much used AppBrain exclusively to install apps. If you know AppBrain, you know that your account automatically makes and saves a list of the apps you load. And you can sync this list with your phone to keep both current. It is also like a backup incase something happens to the apps on your phone. Well yesterday I was clicking my mouse faster than I was thinking and I deleted my "Apps on Phone" list from the AppBrain website. So my question is...If I run the "Sync with AppBrain" feature from my phone will it recreate the deleted "Apps on Phone" list on AppBrain or will it delete the apps from my phone

Sep 15, 2010I am looking to sync my hotmail account with my Droid X. I currently get all of my hotmail email that comes to my Inbox, but not to my specialized folders. To specify, I have folders for emails from my university, emails I send to myself, etc. I only get the generic emails that I do not filter to a folder.
Is there anything I can do to fix this or any app to help? I pretty much get my junk mail, but not my useful mail.

Oct 19, 2011I managed to configure my hotmail and google calendars to sync via the built-in email app on my Transformer... no problem; but there appears to be a limit in place in Exchange that prevents the sub-calendars from syncing. (I've seen indications that using Outlook as a middleman might work.)

Aug 31, 2010I don't get this Gmail app. It doesn't seem to sync properly with my Gmail account. First off, sometimes the main screen will show "Inbox (1)" or whatever number to indicate I have email, but there are no emails when I tap "Inbox" (but there *are* emails on the website, so they are really in my inbox). This may also be related to the label syncing options. I have them all set to "sync all" because I assume this means it will keep everything synced no matter how old it is, and if you specify a number of days, then it just syncs as far back as that many days. But this seems to cause a problem too, in that sometimes I have email on the website, but the phone isn't detecting it.
Finally, both times I've tried to send an email, it won't work. The email ends up as "sending" in the Outbox, but never gets sent. And yes there is a data connection. I see no reason why it shouldn't send immediately. I didn't expect the Gmail app, of all things, to be so problematic on an Android phone!
Android :: Layout_marginBottom Doesn't Seem To Work Properly In 2.2 - Froyo

This draws the image right where it would be expected in both normal and high density resolution screens on Android 1.6 however on 2.2 it seems to ignore the layout_marginBottom and always draw the image aligned all the way at the bottom. Has anyone seen this before, and if so do you know a fix?

HTC Desire : Screen Lock Doesn't Work Properly
Nov 5, 2010Can anyone help, I have been looking up this problem for hours now and have come up with no answers... My lock on phone randomly works. Sometimes I turn on phone and its there and sometimes its not. I have phone set for a pattern lock and to set up after 5 minutes.I just turn my desire on sometimes by pressie the top bottom and the finger slide thingy..isn't even there.This can be after 10 minutes or 3 hours no difference.
