Android : PdaNet - ITouch Able To Let My 3rd Gen ITouch Access Internet?
Aug 2, 2010Is PdaNet able to let my 3rd gen iTouch access the internet? Do I have to purchase the full version for wireless access? I've been searching around for this answer and it seems that I need a USB connection or a Bluetooth DUN(idk what that is) connection. Will my iTouch be able to have full access to the internet if I purchase the full version of PdaNet for my HTC Hero on the Sprint Network?

Nov 14, 2010I got a replacement Fascinate as my old one had some quirks. The guy that did the transfer accidentally forgot to take my old phone back, so I now have my new one and my old one sitting in my lab.My old one doesn't work (deactivated), and the new one is activated. I'm going to return the old one tomorrow, but before I do, is there any way to get all the info on that one transferred to the new one? By that I mean apps, all my contacts, pictures, etc etc?

I'm upgrading from my Blackberry Storm (for obvious reasons) to the HTC Incredible. So I'm having a tough time deciding if I should sell my iPod Touch when I get the Incredible. Is the music player as user friendly and high quality as the iPod's? How is the browser speed over WiFi?

Apr 24, 2010I'm thinking about my situation right now. I have an iPod touch 3rd gen 32 gigs. I have it jailbroken with Installous, so I am constantly downloading apps trying them out, then removing them.I recently purchased the Magellan iPhone dock to make the iPod a GPS unit. Since the Incredible has free Nav, I don't see the need to have to use the Touch.I only have about 10 gigs worth of music, so I could get a 16 gig card and fit all my music and Howard Stern on it. I would think with the left over that comes on the phone I can install the apps I want (wifi tether, google maps, the weather channel, maybe some sort of document reader if not loaded already).I don't want to use my phone for games, so maybe that is a reason for me to keep it. I don't really play games too much, but I do from time to time. I don't know if it is worth keeping another device to do it though.I want everyone's advice. I really hate carrying my phone and my ipod in regular clothing, so I would hate to carry the Incredible and the iPod touch.

Sep 2, 2010I have an HTC Evo, recently switched from an iphone. Loaded just a few songs on my Evo to test out the USB to car stereo connection and it works. But I liked the way iphone worked with the stereo better because all the Evo does is show is let me browse through folders like an mp3 CD would. The iphone would let me browse through artists, albums, playlists, genre, etc, etc all from using the controls on my steering wheel. Sooooo, does anybody know of an android app that will make my car stereo browse artists, albums and playlists like it could with iphone. I know its not a big deal but it would be more convenient, probably only advantage my iphone had over Evo.

Nov 12, 2009Ive noticed that when i shut my phone off and turn it back on after this recent update from hand cent sms, i loose the hand cent icon and it is replaced with a red x instead. has anyone else had this issue? the only way Ive been able to fix it is with a un install and then reinstall which is a royal pain in the ass given that i don't restart my phone very often i still have to customize all over again.

It then gets imported as a jpg then you add the jpg to your lockscreen.I was wondering if there is anything like this on the market? I dont wanna go through over 20 sticky apps looking for one. Or if you can port it to the android? I am running a HTC Hero for Sprint.

Oct 21, 2010Hoping I just did something stupid, rooted my old eris, played around with xtrsense for a while and it sat in a drawer for even longer since I typically carry the Dinc....well then I wanted to try a froyo rom on it so downloaded and installed KaosFroyo on it, then I got sidetracked and it sat in the drawer again until I wanted to use it at work to test lotus traveler on android and here is where the fun starts. The Eris won't activate, its like the radio will not even turn on. The signal bars just have a little x by them, no matter what rom I throw on there or nand backup I use its like the radio is borked? Any ideas on how to fix? am I missing a radio update from somewhere? then fail #2 I can't find my password to download the android traveler beta now anyway...grrI just tried flashing a different radio still doing the same thing. I'm confused
