Anyone else have a small green dot sticker on the box the phone came in? I'd like to know what it means. I know on the blackberry tour when they had trackball problems when they fixed it they put a green dot sticker on it so that makes me think something has been corrected about the phone

I'm looking for a specific battery app that adds a % value to the green battery bar at the top of the phone. I don't want a widget on the screen or anything else. Just to add a numerical value to the battery bar.
I get the blinking green light for a notification like your are supposed to, however it does not happen when the phone is plugged in and charging. Any suggestions?

View 27 Replies View RelatedI was at the beach today and my sister dropped my phone in the water, and now it wont turn on. The phone is still under the 30 day return policy from VZW. Will they accept it, or do I need to spend another ridiculous amount of money for the phone? I was going to take the phone back anyway for massive amounts of dropped calls and desktop wont rotate horizontally. You can't really tell it has been damaged, it just wont turn on. The water damage sticker is still red.
View 29 Replies View Relatedi dropped my moment in the toilet (yea gross), grabbed the phone a second after and took it apart, etc etc did the rice trick, it shows a screen that says its charging when i plug it in but it still doesnt turn on what color is the battery water indicator supposed to be? i've read that red means it got wet, mine is white, but my friend showed me his battery indicator and it was white with red spots. he said that's what it's supposed to look like on a working battery (his isn't an android phone though) ps. dont worry i had already flushed when i dropped it

View 26 Replies View Relatedwhen I get a voicemail, it till pop up at the bottom of the screen when I go to unlock it, but I'm used to seeing text down there anyways (the slide to unlock bit) so sometimes I don't think twice and just flick it. My voice mail app and my messages app, never show that I have a voice mail. I just noticed one today and I went to listened and I had another unlistened to voice mail from a couple weeks ago.If I get a text message, my messages app shows a little number in a green circle. Why doesn't it show a number if I have a voice mail waiting for me?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo today I noticed what seems to be a dead pixel (Not really dead, it just stays the same color). I'm not 100% sure if it is,but I notice that it's pretty much always a blue-green color. I tried doing a pixel fix by using one of those videos on youtube, but no luck. I did notice, however, that if i paused the video, the pixel would be filled in on a blue or green picture, but on red it would turn black. Anyone have any suggestions? If not, do you think I should try exchanging it?

It will have one number before I open my inbox and then another unread count within the app (before downloading any new emails). It then updates itself when I exit the messages app. Do you think it might have something to do with too many widgets on my homescreen? I don't have anything major...1x1 more icons, 1x4 smooth calendar, vibrate toggle, htc clock. Anyone else have this issue?

When I opened the back cover both the little water check sticker on my phone and battery had red lines criss crossed on them. When I first got the phone I thought they were plain white. I know I haven't got the phone wet.
I threw out the box to my droid car holder, inside was the small round adapter to attach the cradle to the dashboard. Of course a week later my car dies, I buy a new one, and I need that tiny little piece. Send me a PM if you have an extra one to sell.
View 18 Replies View RelatedSo after a long while of having no screen protector I decided to put one on since it came with the purchase of my phantomskinz body armor. If you guys didn't know, you need to soak the protector in warm soapy water and then put the protector on the phone and use the included plastic card to squeeze out excess bubble and water. So after several attempts of squeezing the water out using the included card in the kit, I did not realize that that small amount of water had managed to sip inside the bottom of the phone and wet the water damage sticker inside. I just remembered that the water damage sticker on the EVO is at the bottom but after I had applied the protector. So it was too late to do anything about it.The best way to probably squeeze out the water is side ways. If you do it downwards water will get into the bottom of the phone. If you do it upwards, water will get into the speaker grill. So just a heads up. Now I'm SOL if I need any type of warranty on my phone. I've emailed Phantomskinz about this already. But they probably aren't gonna do anything about it and deem it user error. So be careful when applying screen protectors that require use of water.

If I don't clear my notifications of the new text(s) right away, the blinking light kills my battery. I do want to keep the notification on my drop down bar, I just want the blinking light to stop. Is there anyway to do this? I know I can take off the blinking light and drop down bar notification, but I don't want both gone, only the blinking light.

I have rooted it and installed rom manager. when i have changed some setting by using rom tool box (I do not remember what i did. This i did only for curiosity). My phone did not start, only show big green android logo. I can enter recovery mode and also FTM mode.

Does it means that if I grant a App SuperSU permission both at the install stage and later via the superSU rooted app, the app then have free hand to do anything on the device.I did a bit of research and ir does seem to be yhe case, wouldn't this be very dangerous to grant this permission to some less well know apps (ie not titanium backup calibre).
Although there is a separate permission for Internet access. Would an app with superSU be able to give itself stealth internet access and thus able to steal sensitive data over the net, or would I still be safe as long as the app dont ask for explicit internet permission.
