Picked up my phone this morning at 7:30 am at the Verizon Corp store. Noticed my battery was black, not red. They checked several other batteries...all were red. Says "HTC Innovation" on it and it is a 1300. I took the phone and said I'd check back if I had any problems. So far so good. its now been 12 hours, and I'm still in the green with the bar somewhere between the 1/2 and 1/3 mark. Any ideas?

don't know if this has been brought up before, but I changed the background on my DI to the HTC provided black wallpaper (think it has some silver in it). Now my battery life has been extended almost 3 hours with the same usage. I have made no other changes to the DI.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI think my Battery just hit a turning point in its life. For whatever reason I got exceptionally good battery life yesterday. I had it unplugged for 20 hours and it was only down to 52% Remaining by the time I was going to bed. Usually, I only get maybe 18-20 Hours with 10-20% left. My usage was if anything higher than usual too throughout the day. Listening to music/videos/texting/emailing/testing apps for a fair bit of the day.The only thing I did differently that morning was unplug it like normal (when I woke up and it was at 100)%, then plug it back in about 10 seconds later for another 5 Minutes before heading out the door. Would that have caused this peculiarity in my battery consistency.

Are they different or is it just the front? Will the Brown cover look stupid on a black? It looks black-ish, maybe a tiny brown tinge.

I have an HTC Droid Incredible LTE 4 and for the most part it's fabulous...
But when I'm talking on the phone the screen goes black and if I try to unlock it to schedule something in my calendar, etc., the screen just goes black over and over and won't stay active long enough for me to unlock the screen. This is exceedingly frustrating since I can't use any apps when I'm on the phone, and I have to push the button on the top to get the screen to light up at all if I'm on the phone, it doesn't automatically light up if I take it away from my ear to look at something on my phone.
I've been doing the same thing for weeks now, but suddenly after I bump charge, my screen is black every morning.
I'm starting to see more and more threads about this over the last few days with other phones, but not for the Incredible. Everyone is saying 'turn it in, get a new phone.' What a pain in the butt to do that.
No one seems to have a cause for this. For me, I bump charge in the morning, and when I unlock after restart, everything goes black. I lock, unlock a few times, then I see my apps, but over a black back ground. I swap out my wallpaper and it works fine for me all day. But the last 3 mornings has resulted in a black screen.
So, I flashed .92 hboot from adrynalynes website and it is stuck in some kind of weird hboot boot loop. When I try to reboot it just goes black and comes back to this screen. I can get to clockwork and do and nandroid backup, but I just wanted to know what potentially caused this so I can avoid this in the future.

At the same time I get a black envelope with a white outline. I cannot figure out what email folder/widget/whatever it is linked to and I have to manually clear the notification.

My battery life was bad, but it was OK, but in the past few days my battery life is 10% per 30minutes(Just over 5 hours on a charge).I used to get 8-10 hours on a charge.I noticed last week that while it was charging the status of the battery was "Overheat".I think I somehow cooked the battery?I use TaskKiller and kill 95% of apps automatically, I have bluetooth,wireless,GPS disabled and the screen dimmed.I have not changed or installed any new apps.I have not changed the way I use the phone at all.My battery was dead, 0%, and it charged to 95% in about 45 minutes.Is this even possible?In fact in the past two days I have not gotten the charge above 95% at all.
