Ok, so here's my question, does anyone have a full front screen protector Like boxwave, Seidio, Clarivue, etc (not the small vzw one) on with the black rubber case from Verizon? I'm asking because the case is kind of tight and I'm worried it will press hard against the screen and in turn create big bubbles in the corner. Happened with my Rubber casemate case on my Nexus One.

Also what is the best case for the motorola droid? Lastly, when I make phone calls my screen goes black so it is hard for me to end calls. How can i fix this? View 28 Replies View RelatedSome of us have had issues with the volume and power buttons being depressed by the case just fitting a bit too tight causing unwanted changes in volume or turning the phone off by accident. Some have simply cut out the button areas completely but I have found a better answer. Simply make two slits one above the case molded buttons and one below. This allows for the phones buttons to slightly push away the case molded buttons for a perfect fit. See pictures below. The case buttons still work fine.

Has anyone that is not using a screen protector actually scratched their screen? I know that another reason is fingerprints but until I get my Steinheil will I need to worry about scratches, even small ones (like those from jean pockets).
I don't like the fact that dust and crap gets on my phone case every time I put it in my pocket. I'm using the standard case the phone came with from Verizon. I was wondering if there's any case that is like the rubber one, but without the constant need to blow of the dust and lint that attaches itself to the phone Not sure if this is the same. As I was applying it I noticed that the little circular cutout for the optical trackpad is nearly perfectly sized for the camera lens! No more complaining about the lens getting scratched when you set it down!

View 3 Replies View RelatedI put a Zagg Invisible shield on but did not like the super glossy orange peel look so I removed it. I checked out the steinheils website and some youtube vids and they look really nice. Is the only difference between the steinheil crystal and the anti-fingerprint the finish? I'm not too sure I'd like the matte finish as I would think it would slightly dull the brightness of the display. I've also seen the Phantom skinz and the orange peel effect seems to be a bit better than on the Zagg. Anyone with experience using both Zagg and Phantom SKinz products how do they compare? Does either of the two have a definitive advantage over the other in terms of appearance and feel of the coating while sliding your finger over it.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI ordered a ZAGG full body max protector to replace my Body Glove case. I didn't know if anyone had any experience with covering the whole body with this thing? I went with the max vs the easy version because I'd think the corners are going prolly mostly likely to get hit if it's dropped and the easy version doesn't protect sides/corners. Obviously this provides no shock protection if it's dropped but it's a nice compromise between showing off it's sexiness and protection.

Is there a way to prevent the contents of the text from showing up before unlocking while still being notified that you have recieved a message?

This is a deal breaker for me and im sure lots of people will use the navigation with the dash mount but this will stop lots of sales of the clip/case combo. hopefully seideo or someone will think of this and make a case that will work for both belt clip and dash mount. Looks like the protection film guys will get lots of business from this.
I take my phone everywhere with me, usually on my hip in a holster of some type. The headphone jack on the Dinc represents a substantial port of entry for dirt and moisture. I know I had an LG flip phone years ago that make with a rubber plug to prevent such substances from entering.
I am hoping that someone here has a solution for the Dinc, and hopefully available at say, Lowes, instead of ordering a $0.10 piece of rubber off the internets. It doesn't have to be a "headphone jack plug" per se, but something that will work just the same?
Here's something most of you probably haven't noticed about your incredible. If you take off the back cover and look to the right of the speakerphone, there's a little red rubber "plug"/cover that comes out, leaving a hole. Removing the plug messes up the acoustics of the speakerphone very much (and makes the phone shake like crazy when loud music is played). It's not important, but I was curious if anyone knew if there was a design reason for this / why you would ever want to remove it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFirst post and already I am complaining. I guess most of you know already that they don't fit the entire front plate, only the center screen. But I was willing to live with that till better ones came out, but what really got me (unless I did something wrong) was the second tab you are supposed to pull off after installing the shield is stuck on like a sticker that has glue on the back side and left part of the sticker stuck on the screen.On my second attempt I used Goo Gone to get the sticker off first but the application for applying still came out messy.Anyway just a heads up stay away.On a side note one thing that doesnt suck was the red and black gradient case I got for the phone. It feels nice and I believe will absorb most falls to the ground while still protecting the phone. It also looks great and seems to sit flush to the ground so that the camera is not touching the surface directly.

Ok, I'll do my best to describe what I'm trying to do, if its even possible.
So the DI has the 7 screens that you can cycle through. The first one is home, then I swipe left and its full screen Favorites, on more to the left is full screen calendar. If I go left from home screen, its full screen mail.
So my question is, how can you make other apps/programs/widgets full screen? For example have google maps open full screen or photos or message etc. I can drag the little icon to a new page but it stays that small icon size.
