View 1 RepliesBrand new SGS owner/user here on T-Mobile in the UK. I rooted the phone the other night and am aware it opens the handset up to be used for whatever.
When i connect my handset up to the cars aux port using the 3.5mm connector music, FM radio, CoPilot, all work fine.
However when someone calls me and i answer i would have thought I could hear them through the cars speakers but this is not possible.
The loudspeaker on the galaxy is not the best but that wouldn't matter if it used the Aux port in call as an output.
Am I missing something here? Is there a setting that perhaps I have overlooked or missed?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE (SHV-E120S) device. Now the thing is that I don't have a CM10.1 for my device, at the most I have CM10.
But its closest relative, Samsung Galaxy S2 HD LTE (SHV-E120L) has CM10.1 for itself.
Now I was wondering, how can I get CM10.1 from E120L running for my device i.e. E120S.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo a couple of developers and I are porting HTC Sense to the ZTE Blade. I have come here for guidance for porting it. So what I have is a MPDI port from the HTC Salsa which boots. I want to port the ROM from MDPI to HDPI.
Should I get the system apps from the Desire S and put the .pngs into the other Salsa apps and overlap the MDPI ones? Also there are more pngs in the Desire S than the Salsa one. So would I copy over the existing ones only or all of them? And do I rename the folders from MDPI to HDPI or leave them?
My phone doesn't want to turn on anymore. What should i do? I tries multiple battery, but i think its the phone its self. Also my charging port doesn't work.

So the issue is not operator related but telephone related.

I've looked a bit for this but found that it is easy if they have same hardware, so in this case they don't.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe have an S3 Mega, started using it as a Wi Fi access point for a Gateway Desktop, Windows 7. After 8 hours of flawless operation , the usb starting disconnecting and then reconnecting. The check box in the settings screen for USB tethering would uncheck. If you rechecked it it would connect then disconnect and uncheck the box. We moved from a front USB port on the Gateway to a rear USB port and that fixed that problem but after overnight, no WiFi access. Rebooting the computer fixed that.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOnce the sprint galaxy S3 or HTC evo LTE are upgraded to jelly bean, can you just use the google experience UI and use less resources than the custom UI? I hear Samsung is bloated and even sense is slower than straight jelly bean. Or do the factory UIs still run in the background and make the phone slower than a nexus?
I am debating on one of these now or keep my evo3d till sprint gets a newer nexus.
Will either of these 2phones with JB be so close to a Nexus that it wouldn't be tha noticeable except to a pro, or would the Nexus be notably faster, smoother, etc?
I don't want to upgrade and be locked in to the current Nexus with sprint if something better is 6 months or less away.
I know there is a lag on the Galaxy S. But it is really annoying me, i know of the fixed where i require to root, but is there anything i can try at work. Just downloading things of the market?
