HTC Incredible :: Combined Email Icon
Apr 29, 2010On my Droid I was able to have one email icon, that I would then open and chose gmail or yahoo, rather than having 2 separate icons.How can I accomplish this with the Inc?

HTC Incredible :: Way To Get Combined Email Inbox On Their Phone?
May 10, 2010Has anyone figured out a way to get a combined email inbox on their phone? I don't like how I have to switch between accounts. I want it all on one page.I'm using a gmail account and an exchange account.

Feb 28, 2013I've been using Maildroid for about 6 months with no issues. However, the past couple of days, I have one email account that says there are new emails to display, but when I click on it, nothing appears in the Inbox. However, if I go to the Combined inbox, they are there. This email was working before a few days ago! I even deleted the email account and re-created it. Still no email displaying in the Inbox. I do receive a message saying something about server messages and Inbox not available, but I've looked everywhere to find any information on this (even googled it and checked the forums with no luck).

Mar 9, 2014I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and I am using the native email application with an Exchange account. I do not like the email counter telling me how many unread messages I have. I have notifications turned off so I do not have anything showing up in my notification bar. Is there a way to disable to email counter?

Jun 9, 2010I am looking at some of the alternative launchers that are out there, mostly launcherpro but also home++.I am able to live without most of the HTC Sense widgets, with two exceptions. I use Exchange ActiveSync but I also connect to an IMAP account , so I find HTC's email icon that has a combined unread message count to be quite handy. Also, the HTC "messages" icon has a counter for unread SMS messages. Neither of those work under LauncherPro.I believe the email app is an HTC custom app, so I'm thinking it is unlikely that anything from the app market is going to be able to provide the same unified unread count on the icon. I would like to stick with HTC's email app as I like having both my email accounts in one place. I'm guessing it's the same story with the "messages" app, although I'm thinking I could just install a new standalone SMS app to deal with that issue.

Oct 20, 2009i have been playin around with my hero and im a big texter and noticed theres an issue with my text messaging.. when i go to the programs, then hit messages and get into the "All messages" main screen i always only have one person listed (usually the first text i received) and like 50 texts...but the catch is, ill have received texts from maybe 5 different people...so instead of 5 different conversations/people listed on the "All messages" main screen ill have one person and all the conversations from all the different people will be in that one thread.no huge deal right? wrong...if i try to text the last person that texted me it will go to like the person that texted me 20 minutes ago and all sorts of random ppl that had texted me through out the day...its super annoying im guessing this has to be a bug because under all messages i would assume it would seperate by people.

Jun 21, 2013The Original email app on my galaxy s3 one day decided to become stuck on 1 unread email. Whether i have read all emails or 5 unread emails, the app displays 1 unread email.I have tried 'Clearing cache' and 'Clear data' several times on both the email app and gmail(Gmail just for the sake of it even though it is unrelated)also, deleted all my inbox, junk and trash emails online. However, no matter what i do the icon still displays 1 unread email.
My phone is not rooted and has been and still working perfectly fine apart from this issue.I know that the issue isn't that big of a deal since technically email and everything is working, but that 1 on the email icon really annoys me.I have uploaded a screenshot of what i'm talking about just incase i haven't made myself clear.
Android :: Seeing Combined Events From More Than One Calendar?
Jan 28, 2010Does anyone know how to view events from more than one gmail calendar?Unfortunately, the Android Google apps (both gmail and calendar) DO NOT allow more than one account. What is up with that?? iPhone, Palm, and Blackberry all do this natively.Anyhow, I thought I was being clever by sharing my calendar between my personal gmail and my corporate gmail accounts. As a result, I can now see my work events on my personal calendar while in the browser. BUT.... from my Android, the shared events DO NOT appear! Why? Why? I downloaded a few other calendar apps from the Market but they all rely on the built in calendar... so none of them do any better.Is there a solution to this problem or is this another inherent Google fault?

So far I have three email accounts including my gmail account on my eris. When I first setup my msn, and school email I was able to separate the accounts into two separate icons. Now that I have figured out how to add my yahoo account I would like to have a separate icon for this also but can't figure out how I did this the first time.

Jul 27, 2010I rooted my 0.8 Desire from a guide on here. This seemed to go as the guide said it would. I then followed another guide to install the radio and sence froyo. This also seemed to go to plan. It wiped all my data and apps but I re-installed Mybackup pro and got everything back

I love the combined inbox, but when I get a mail alert and use it to open the email program it opens in the specific inbox for that account in the email program. Nov 25, 2009should the voice mail icon have a number on it like the email or text icons if you get a new voicemail? If I get a notification, it only shows up on the task bar. I was also experiencing not recieving texts. I have since done a reset which fixed the text issue (and sleep-for now), but not the voicemail. Should I take the phone back? I fear its anotjer software bug, not hardware. I love this phone, but I'm getting very annoyed that it can't even do what its suppose to.

Jul 6, 2010Unless I'm losing it, whenever I had a new email notification, pulled down the notification bar, and clicked the email, G mail app opened up the email itself. All of a sudden, when I do the same thing, it opens up the G mail In box and I have to click the email itself to open it. Am I delusional and this is how it's always been?
