Every time I answer or make a call, the in-call volume is automatically set to the highest level. I'll manually bump it down two or three notches and it sounds fine, but then it goes right back to maximum volume for the next call. I've been through the menus, and I can't seem to find anywhere to adjust the default in-call volume. Does anyone know how to make that change?

Hey guys, my ringtone keeps changing back to the default ringtone and its really annoying. It happens everyday, and I haven't hooked up my phone to my computer at all. I'm using a song from "my music" as a ringtone.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have multiple Gmail accounts on my Incredible and I want to switch my original default to one of the other ones. When you go under Settings>Sync...> it has the four Gmail accounts, with only one giving you the option to sync calendar. I want to sync the calendar of one of the others, not that one, and I can't figure out how to switch it. Also, the account is showing up as my Google log in for Maps. I've found an option to make the Gmail portion your default but no overall Google default.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've noticed times when my in-call volume is stuck on high even when turned all the way down to the lowest setting. I traced this to having previously connected to a bluetooth device for phone use (this happens with two different bluetooth accessories). After disconnecting from bluetooth (whether or not the bluetooth antenna is also turned off), call volume is extremely loud and doesn't respond to the volume-down key. I have to reset the phone to get it back to normal. Anyone else notice this? Any fix for this? I presume this is a bug in the Android 2.1 OS. BTW--this also happens with a friend's Eris running a 2.1 leak v3.

Using Dialer One, or Phone. And it gives me the option to "Use by default for this action".So, lets say I want to use Dialer One by default, but then I change my mind. How do I set it back to the default Phone.Obviously, this question applies to more than just the phone app. After writing all that I think the simple way to ask my question is- I really just want to know how to undo the 'use by default for this action' choices I may make in the future.

View 2 Replies View Relatedscoured "call volume" threads and not sure if this is experienced by anyone else. Intermittently when I answer a call I can barely hear the other person. Call volume is at the highest setting. I try making it lower then higher and nothing changes. If I end the call and call the same person back I will get normal call volume behavior. This happens every 5-10 phone calls.

So several times a day by Notification Volume goes way down. I want it to be as loud as possible so I slide the bar all the way to the right. A few hours later it is almost down to silent.

It's so easy to press by accident, and I never want to change the ringer volume anyway! I've tried searching for this issue but have come up with nothing, so if it's been posted, please point me in the right direction.I've had my Hero since January (Sprint) and this only came up in the last couple of days. About a week ago (05/28/10) my Hero froze and Sprint issued me a new phone which they updated to 2.1. On Thursday (06/03/10) I noticed the sound when I use my touch screen is much louder than it used to be. I'm almost positive the new phone wasn't quite this loud when I first got it. The sound I'm talking about is not the 'tone' sound as I've disabled that, but the 'ticking' sound when you launch an app or shortcut. Does this make sense? Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Is there a way to make this sound quieter? I'd rather not disable it completely as I like a little bit of feedback that a button has been hit.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSince the time I have upgraded to KitKat- I have been facing the issue of Call History. Every Time I miss a Call and I click on the name/number- Its asks me to select a default option of whoch way to open that entry , that is, through Dialer or through History. I tried selecting history and clicked on the "always use this option" but the same thing kept happening every time. After a few tries, I chose the other option and did the same thing and it again kept appearing... It looks like there's a bug in this and it never really saves my preference.

But I noticed recently that suddenly the volume rocker only controls the Media Volume or the In-call volume (if you're in a call), not the Ringer Volume. I don't have anything playing, so not sure why it's like that. I want it to default to ringer and I'll worry about Media when I'm actually in a program that uses it.

I have rings extended and have changed most of my contacts ringtones and they have stayed, but whenever I go to settings and change it and then either shut my phone off, plug it in, whatever, it causes it to go back to default. I have tried ringdroid and that seems to only work as a ringtone maker, it will not show up in the menu to change tones like Rings Extended does. I also moved my ringtones to an appropriate folder for access. I also have adw launcher now (previously Launcherpro plus-which made no difference)

Or do I need to install alternate ringtones? If so, what are some good ringtone apps to handle this? By default R.Java will get created in gen folder under the package (of the application) directory. I have a common code (with UI) which has to go with different applications with different package names/branding. When ever I change the package name in manifest file, R.java will created inside that package so I have to change the import statement in all the files with the new location of R. How I can avoid it? Also is there is any provision to have two or more R files in one application?

Part of why I wanted to change the default was to have more Home screens so I could scroll horizontally to view my apps (like the iPhone; I am not trying to be like the iPhone.I just do appreciate certain design factors!).Is there a way to change the default location of the apps to the various Home pages? Or do I have to manually shift each one? For some reason, I find the vertical tray not as helpful or easy to access, although now that I can jump to apps by letter, that does make it better.

Seen em with checkerboard pattern across his midsection. Never seen a completely custom without the robot tho. My question is how do you change that screen and is the robot not removable? Can I just put some random picture that I think is cool at the time? Oh and how do I change the color of the call button and battery icon, if theres a way without installing other apps to do it?
