View 3 Replies View RelatedHTC Sense has a widget to enable and disable your data connection. I don't want to use Sense though, and since disabling it, I don't have that button anymore. Anyone know of a widget I can use?
View 6 Replies View RelatedUntil very recently, I had a widget on one of my Desire home screens that allowed me to toggle mobile data with one touch. It was an official (HTC or Android) widget, and I found it so useful I wanted to use it as an example or how to put a widget on the phone for my Dad... who has also just got one.And now I can't find it again under 'Add to Home' 'Widget'.What's happened? Have HTC pulled it? I know there are thid-party options, but I'd like my original back!
View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone have an issue where if they toggle GPS off using the power widget, then goes back to re-enable the GPS, the GPS doesn't quite work right. I saw this yesterday the GPS was all wacky and GN wouldn't lock but maps would. I restarted the phone, and it worked great. I see this from time to time.
View 7 Replies View RelatedAnyone know of a 3g toggle widget on the market like the one on the incredible? I live in a horrible reception area and my dx gets hot and gets a lot of battery drain searching for 3g. I noticed my incredibles battery life improved vast amounts when I turned the 3g off when I'm not using data.
View 20 Replies View RelatedI recently flashed the Cyanogenmod 6.0.0-RC3 ROM onto my Moto Droid, and also installed a Simple Black Bar theme from their forum. Now, my Weahter and Toggle Widget app doesn't show up on the list of widgets when I long press my screen. I reinstalled it, and it worked, but then any time after that when I reboot my phone or unplug it from my computer, it will fail to load, and again won't show up on the widget list. Is this a bug in RC3? How can I go about fixing this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been happily using Weather & Toggle widget since getting my Droid a few months ago. All of a sudden though it will not refresh the weather or forecast. This is true even if I do a forced refresh. I have also tried removing the clock/weather widget from my screen and re-adding it. No luck. It remains stuck on yesterday's high of 80 degrees and sunny. Considering its cloudy about about 65 today this is clearly wrong. It was showing 80/sunny at 5am this morning when it was still dark!
Also, in the 4 day forecast section you get by tapping the weather portion of the widget, it starts with Tuesday. It should start with today, Wednesday. This is by far my favorite app/widget so far but its completely useless if it remains stuck like this.
Alright guys, please bear with me as I'm new to the Droid, Android, and GPS capability in my phone. I downloaded Beautiful Widgets (totally awesome, by the way) and I just want to confirm how the GPS toggle widget works since it seems to just be a shortcut to a setting in the OS as opposed to the wifi and Bluetooth toggle widgets which do their own thing. When you tap the GPS toggle widget it, it takes you the "location & security settings" part of the OS settings. I'm assuming that at this point you either check/uncheck the "Use GPS satellites" to turn on/off the GPS chip in this phone? Can I leave it unchecked and just before I need to get some directions or navigation, turn it back on? What I'm getting at is: Can I turn it on and off according my need for it at any given moment?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI installed the "Data Toogle" app and tried it out this morning for the first time. Well when I got home, I attempted to re-enable my 3g internet and it won't connect, even the 3g icon is not in the status bar.My Droid is with Page Plus if that helps. Can someone please help me out with this. I searched Google non-stop and the only information I find is how to turn off data.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I disabled Sense on my 2.1 and does anyone know of a good application or widget that can toggle 3G, WiFi, and GPS. I tried power control but it didn't work with my 3G.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy moblie on/off toggle switch stopped working. I removed it then reinstalled it from htc widgets but still won't work. Anyone have this problem?
View 3 Replies View RelatedOne of the things I liked about Sense (I'm rooted now and running the Second Wave ROM) was the HTC weather animations when the screen was unlocked. After installing Widget Locker, I noticed an option to turn them on and now I have them back! I also installed the Weather & Toggle Widget and installed the weather skin that looks just like the Sense weather with the flip clock. The annoying part is that when it's sunny, or partly sunny, the "sun animation" from Sense doesn't perfectly align with the Weather & Toggle Widget weather icon. I know, I know, it's a minor problem and goes away when the animation is done, but the lack of symmetry sometimes annoys the hell out of me.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn my Droid Razr I am using the "Power Control" Toggle Widget for my homepage...This widget can toggle Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Background Data, and Brightness. I use this widget to conveniently switch off these features to conserve battery life. Every switch seems to work fine except for the Background Data...I am able to turn on Background Data but when trying to turn off Background Data with the widget, although it does appear to be turned off because the icon is no longer illuminated...when I manually go into Data settings, the Background Data is still checked on.... What is the reason why it is not turning off with the widget
View 3 Replies View RelatedSee the 3rd post. I am looking for the Widget where you can toggle everything that came with the evo plus the 4g, vibrate, and the E all in one widget. [Themes] Konikubs Evo Theme Collection - Froyo 2.2 - Usable on many ROMS!
View 5 Replies View RelatedOne of the first things I did when I got my Evo was turn off HTC Sense - can't stand its gaudy widgets and general bloat. However, one thing I am missing is HTC's little toggle widgets - particularly the one that lets you turn on/off 4G. The native Android toggle widget doesn't let you control 4G. Does anyone know any 3rd-party / alternative widgets to toggle 4G? Given that it's the first 4G phone, they probably don't exist but it would be cool if someone with know, how could develop one!
View 15 Replies View RelatedI currently have the SkyRaider 2.5.2 Vanilla ROM installed. I am wondering if there is a way I can get the 3G widget from htc sense on here somehow. I know this ROM still has a few sense applications and visualization, so maybe it is possible? I have been looking in the market with no luck None of the ones I have installed has worked so far.
View 1 Replies View RelatedCan someone tell me how to get my 4g on/off toggle widget back? I ended up deleting all my toggles but WiFi and gas as those are the only ones I was really using. As it turns out though bellingham is the only other Washington city besides Seattle that has 4g and I go there at least once a week to visit friends. Also if anybody on here is from bellingham or if you have been there and tried the 4g how is the coverage and speed?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI know there are ones that are a shortcut, but I'm referring to one that acts like the "Mobile" widget on Sense. The market is cluttered with widgets that control, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, Brightness etc...
View 2 Replies View RelatedCan anyone recommend a great GPS toggle that doesn't take me to the GPS menus but allow me to toggle directly from the home screen?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently got a great bluetooth headset for my android phone. I have been using the Battery Widget which has a long press option to then enable BT, but that still requires a click on the checkbox.I like to turn on BT when I need it.So AF users what's your favorite BT toggle widget?I just want a "click to touch" enable/disable BT.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for the top bar 2.1 toggle widget. I used to have this when I rooted my G1 but can't find it again within my Droid. I've seen it running on the Droid and knowit's possible, but alas - can't find it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAnyone else having trouble the past few weeks with the weather updating on the Weather and Toggle Widget? When I add the widget it gives the correct weather for that time. It just never changes from there. I love the way the widget looks and hope it's just something I'm doing wrong.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI m not sure why I got this app if I don't know what it does. But I did because I have the free version and it told me to upgrade. By the way what was the extra charge for a dollar. Was that just an authorization that will drop off.
And the main question is how do I use this app
There is no widget per se. I have to access it in the app drawer.
When I set a certain clock nothing happens. So I expected it to be the clock for either Beautiful Widgets or Beautiful Superclock
So is there a widget for "force GPU rendering" toggling on and off cause i am tired of going into settings to toggle that and i still need to toggle that quite often?
ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T
I feel like this must be so obvious and I'm missing it. Just want a button I can hit to turn screen off without waiting for it to timeout on its own. Otherwise it seems to often do random stuff in my pocket if I am unwilling to wait to put it back.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyone know of a Widget that will toggle on/off the GPS on the HTC Incredible? No, I thinks but one that you use and know for a fact works.
