I downloaded approximately 135 songs onto my hero from itunes. When I hook my hero up to my computer that drive says all the music is on the sd card but on my hero it says theres only 54 songs. I've tried redownloading the music and that didn't work. Wheres my music?

I downloaded three songs from Amazon MP3. 2/3 came through just fine. (Even though the download manager through Amazon says everything id fine)When I open my music player, I cannot find the third song. But when I look up through my 'file' app, I can fund it on my SD card, right where it is supposed to be. I can even play it through the file app. But even showing all music, that third song does not show up. What could the deal be there?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've just updated my SGS to Froyo via the registry hack but I noticed one small problem in the music app. Every last character on the album is missing (e.g. Pearl Jam's "Binaural" displays as "Binaura") I'm not using mp3s but flacs which may be the cause of the problem. I notice in Eclair that the music app does not recognize flac ID3 tags but in Froyo, it recognizes the album art and album name but not the artist. Great, but the missing last letter in every album's name is super annoying.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhilst listening to music via the headphone socket to my stereo i got a call but the music went quiet for a couple of seconds then carried on playing when id finished what i was doing i looked and id missed a call.
Is there a setting that will ring for a call and also alert you of a text when listening to music at all ? (stock music player btw).
My daughter's cell was taken away by her dad (who we don't live with), and she has all of her music and photos on it. We are trying to figure out a way to access and save/download them without having physical access to the phone. I don't know the google/gmail account associated with the phone. Is there any way to change the gmail account for that phone and then be able to access photos and music data? We just want her pictures and music, and the only thing I can figure is that without knowing the gmail account of the phone, there's no other way to get this. Also not sure if it's all saved in the google account since the music was DL'd using 3rd party music apps.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter changing my SD card with a larger one, my music album pictures on HTC music player/widget does not show anymore. I copied everything from my old SD card to the new one. Also, the new SD card have a different name from the old one. Old is labeled as 'Removable Disk' while new one is 'Kingston'. Also, album thumbs folder becomes empty (before it contains files from old album thumbs folder).
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've been using iSyncr for a few months now and overall it's pretty good. I was using it with Rocket Player, but didn't care for that player much, so I am just using the google music app for now.
The problem: All playlists sync, except for the most recent. So if I have playlists 1-5, with 5 being what I just created in iTunes and sync'd, play music will only show 1-4. Whenever I move on and create #6, then #5 will show up but 6 will be missing.. and so on.
I need to either figure out why, or find an alternative music player that doesn't have this problem and works with the iSyncr process/playlists. Rocket Player did not, but had some other things that I didn't like.
What is the easiest way to put music on the Hero and what is the cheapest if not free way to get the music?

View 4 Replies View RelatedSince I know about the known issue of Hero G-sensor not able to save the calibration. I waited till I get the 2.1 hoping this will fix the issue. Right now. Nor does it not fix the issue I cant find the option anymore Bubble calibrates and remebers okay. But those apps like google sky or teeter arent affected by that Some apps have their own calibrations like bubble - works well or papi jump. But abduction with its own calibration wont work. Suspecting that google sky map and others wont work either. Anyone happy with 2.1 (+ more issues in this forum) like me? And anyone know where i could find the setting in 2.1? Am either blind or its not there. The advice with the tapping and turning and tapping etc did it work for anyone?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWell, today I was using my phone, and I hooked it up to a PC to copy a file off the SD card. I turned off USB storage, unplugged it, and went to set a new wallpaper when I realized... some of them were missing... I checked other folders and sure enough, magically missing pictures..
Now I have seen this happen where it won't see all my audio files, but eventually it kind of just fixes itself and sees them all, but I browsed the SD card, and I cannot even see the missing pictures.. I assume my SD card is corrupting and I should format it. Is this the kind of symptom you'd see when that happens? Or is the SD card physically bad?
I have been missing many calls from my Hero more than any other Sprint phone I owned, has anyone experienced this issue? not even a ring, full bars of signal strength and goes to voicemail at times, not all the time but my wife says it happens a lot when she tries to contact me, any suggestions folks? I read some stuff about the Slot Index would this solve my issue? or would I be best to root my phone since I am still stock?

I enabled both in the settings (they are checked), but when I click the options button on the keyboard and try to select a keyboard, I only get the 3 standard options (QWERTY, Phone, Compact QWERTY). Any ideas why?

This was one of my favorite apps and now its like it never existed? Does anybody else not see calorie counter when they search for it? I don't understand how it could just not show up anymore in the market. If anyone has it, could they possibly back up the app to there SD card and send me the .apk file so I can install it? Would that work?

Now that app won't show up in the market for me.I know I read something about apps not showing up if the ROM is not "signed" by Google, or something. But the zip from Fresh 2.1.2 ends with "_signed_release". So what do you do to get missing apps to show up?

Has anyone's email notification stopped working? The envelope that usually appears in the notification bar doesn't show anymore, but when I look at my mail shortcut on the homescreen, it shows the green circle with the number of new emails. Did I accidentally change something or do you think it's a bug?
