Oct 15, 2010http://androidforums.com/htc-desire/199604-angry-birds-out-now-free.html Its been posted up on a couple of places that its out for free (officially).I managed to download it to my PC, used advice already offered (such as this; Menu > Settings > Applications > tick Unknown Sources) but I'm getting " Parse error There is a problem parsing the package".I'm guessing its not compatible with this phone, OR I'm not compatible with modern technology.

Apr 20, 2010I'm looking for a 3G analyzer/monitor (preferably free) that detects the strength of the 3G signal the phone is receiving.
I'm on Orange in the UK, and my 3G/H signal varies wildly, often in the same location (ie. at work). I'm just interested to benchmark a good day and a bad day.
I did do a search on the forum and also on the Market with little success.
Just to clarify, I use speedtest and netcounter for my bandwidth needs (very happy with both) ... I'm after a 3G signal strength app (if one exists)..

Aug 27, 2009I'm getting close to deciding to buy a SIM-free Hero to use PAYG on the 3 network. When I receive my SIM-free phone what exactly do I do to get it connected? I can see plenty of websites offering APN details and the Hero manual points me to where I need to go to create APN settings on the phone, but I realise that I may flounder when I need to decide exactly what I need to do and in what order. Does anyone know of an idiot's guide setting out the steps I need to take, please?

I prefer just to use a cable for the sound since it's clearer and I don't have to keep fiddling with stations when I get feedback. All the other docks that I've found are window mounted suction cup deals. Does anyone know of a dock that plugs into the cigarette lighter, but doesn't have the FM transmitter?

Sprint HTC Hero :: Car Stereo Hands-Free Bluetooth Errors
Nov 19, 2009I have a Blaupunkt Melbourn car stereo with the Blaupunkt USB/Bluetooth Interface installed in my car and it used to work just fine with my Sprint Mogul and Touch Pro, but I can't seem to make it work with my Hero. When I pair the two, the radio only recognizes the Hero as an audio source and not as a phone. In other words, I assume I can stream music from the phone to the radio but I can't answer the phone with it. I should add that the connection icon shows up as audio headphones instead of a phone handset in the Bluetooth Devices screen.And this is just the opposite of what I need. I could care less whether I can stream music, but I need to be able to use the car radio as a hands-free device and as I wrote in the last paragraph, the radio worked perfectly in that capacity with my last two phones.So does anyone have any idea whether this is a phone problem or a stereo problem? Does anyone have any idea if there's a work-around? For that matter, does anyone have any helpful information at all?

Feb 10, 2010I appear to have gotten myself into a bit of a pickle. I recently bought a 3 Mobile HTC Hero and unlocked it successfully. After putting in my Vodafone sim card and starting up the phone, it doesn't seem to be letting me access Vodafone internet. I'm guessing this is because I have the 3 version of the ROM. Is there any way I can download the brand free rom or even just fix this internet problem? This is my first smart phone and I really didn't think this would be a problem. I assumed with android boasting it's open-source-ness that branding wouldn't be an issue.
