HTC Hero : US Holidays Calendar Not Syncing / How To Fix?

We have several users here in our office with the HTC Hero using the Google Apps Premiere system (myself included). I have subscribed to the US Holidays calendar on my Google Apps Calendar. It syncs to my phone with no problem. We have another user who is not so lucky. If I go to my calendar menu on the Hero I see where I can check/uncheck the US Holiday calendar. On the other user's phone, he does not have a US Holidays calendar that he can check/uncheck. I've seen similar posts that regard Sports calendars but have not found a solution for the US Holidays calendar.

I go into the calendar app, not widget and go to my calendars and try to add calendars and the box that pops up has no options. It's starting to bug me because I want to add the holidays and Facebook birthdays.

Couple quick questions regarding the OEM Calendar and it's functionality:
1 - On my google calendar I am able to enter reoccuring items and they sync with my eris as they should. I also see all the various holidays on my google cal but these items do not sync to my eris. Is there a way to get the holidays to port over to my native eris calendar?
2 - My contacts has a place for defining a contact's birthday and anniversary. How can I get these user defined dates to populate to my eris calendar? Seems like this should be simple functionality no?

Its my first ever Android phone, I own a HTC Hero. I have downloaded the latest HTC Sync and my phone has frimware version 1.5 and Kernal version 2.627-8dd6deee and build number 2.73.405.5 146733CL#61267
I managed to get everything set up how I want it but have a problem syncing the phones calendar with my MS Outlook 2007 calendar. Some of my seem to be missing on the Hero or in the wrong date to the Outlook calendar. The same happend with the contacts, but that fixed after snycing again. However, the calendar is still messed up!

I have recently gone up from Fresh 1.1 to Fresh 2.0d. Everything is working great, but for some reason Exchange items are not showing up in the calendar. The exchange calendar is selected in the calendar selection option. Items added to the phone calendar as exchange items are synced to my Outlook/Exchange calendar, so there is some communication going on. However, my calendar stubbornly refuses to display the Exchange items.
Anyone know why this might be? I can't figure it out...

When I sync my Sprint HTC Hero with Windows Vista (using HTC Sync version 2.0.8), I get the following error message: "The application com.android.providers.calendar (process com.htc.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I also get this message occasionally when I'm not syncing. It doesn't seem to prevent my Hero from syncing new calendar events, but the error message is annoying. Anyone have an idea why I'm getting it and what I can do about it?

I have two gmail accounts. My primary works find on my DX. I have shared my second calendar with my primary and my appointments for both show up fine online, and in my DX calendar list, it says my second calendar is on there, but nothing is showing up. I've tried adding new appointments both on device and computer, but they don't sync for that calendar.
Am I missing something? Or does anyone know of a calendar app that will sync with a second gmail calendar?

So when i go into my Google calendar online I can subscribe to an event feed. That works great. I can see the events in my calendar. However when i go to my S3 and make sure that my account settings are syncing the calendar i only see items i have entered and not the subscription items. Is this how its supposed to work?

Just received my DHD and so far so good apart from syncing the calendars. My google calendars sync fine but when I do a PC sync only the contacts sync, I've checked the calendar settings and PC sync has a tick by it along with all my google calendars.

This is a big issue for me, so I hope somebody has a fix. I have one Google calendar. When I sync only the last 2 months show all events. Past that, only a few events show up here & there. I've heard of this problem before but never had a sync issue with my Palm Pre. Imagine that. Can anyone list the steps to correct this, if possible.

just got the Desire and I am having problems syncing my calendar entries to the phone. I have got my windows contacts in no problem. But when I try to put the windows calendar entries in I get an error/fail message telling me the phone has timed out.

I am needing help syncing my outlook calendar to my htc evo. i use htc sync, and i selected calendar, but all of my info that is on my outlook calendar on my computer, doesn't sync with my phone calendar, or at least i think it doesn't. do i have a setting wrong? can anyone help?

My HTC Calendar has stopped syncing to my gmail calendar.
I checked under 'Applications > Manage Applications' and it looks like the 'Data' is already cleared?

Is there an App that will allow Yahoo calendar syncing on the Evo?Seems that someone mentioned one to me, but cannot remember it name, and can't find the posting on the net.Google contacts are good, but don't like the google calendar.I prefer the Yahoo calendar, and would like to use it on my phone. I have a Macbook with iCal configured to match my Google calendar account. The two sync together with no problem. I tried setting up my HTC Desire to sync with my Google account which should give me three way sync but I get the following problem: I open Calendar on my phone, I try to add an event, a message appears saying: YOU HAVE NO CALENDARS. On the settings side, if I hit MENU then MORE and I choose CALENDARS I can't see my Google account. If I hit SETTINGS there is nothing to add my Google account. If I go to the ACCOUNTS & SYNC settings, I see my Google account, but when I hit my account, the data synchronization theme only shows SYNC CONTACTS and SYNC GMAIL, there is no SYNC GOOLGLE CALENDAR. I had Syncmate installed on my macbook and had it configured on my Desire, but it didn't sync the calendar either so I deleted it from my accounts. Could this be causing my problem or does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I have all my contacts in my googlemail account. When I go to settings/Accounts & Sync on my Desire, and sync, it seems to sync from the Desire to my googlemail page on my PC, but not the other way round - which is a problem for me because all the correct contacts are on my PC. It also tends to duplicate or even triplicate most of contacts. On the PC there is the merge setting, but not on the Desire. I've tried deleting all my contacts on the Desire, but syncing doesn't repopulate it.
I have all my appointments on my Desire calendar, which seems to only sync from my PC to the Desire. As I enter my appointments on the Desire, and would like to have them on my PC, this, too, is a problem.

I added a few calendars to google calendar on my PC, and my calendar is not syncing/updating on my Incredible. I've already tried clearing the data in the Calendar application, and manually syncing them. I'm also using Pure Calendar, if it matters, and have the update frequency set to every 30 minutes, and have already manually refreshed that as well.

I want to sync the Birthdays already saved to my contacts to my Calendar.
I don't use Gmail other than for the Marketplace and I don't have Facebook sync'd.
Ideally I'd have reminders on the day of the Birthday.

Has anyone had issues syncing their Exchange calendar? I am only getting NEW appointments in my calendar, even though my mail and contacts are working correctly. My company has Exchange 2003 (I know, Dark Ages). I have searched the forums and have not found any RESOLVED threads relating to this issue.

I have a Droid Eris running Android 1.5. My problem is that when my phone syncs with my Google Calendar, events that aren't on my Google Cal sometimes show up on my phone's calendar. The events that are showing up are events that repeat on a weekly basis but I deleted them for certain weeks on my Google Cal, yet they still show up on my phone. This is starting to become a hassle because I keep thinking that I have to do things when I really don't. I've already cleared the calendar data on my phone and restarted like the Google troubleshooting tips say, but that didn't work.

I try to sync my calendar with google calendar I get a message that's says there is no calendar events currently synced. So I go to settings-accounts-Gmail- and it only gives me the option to sync contacts and gmail, not the calendar. How do I add in the calendar so that I can sync it? I only have the one Gmail account. My friend thinks I may have to remove the gmail account then add it back in, but doing so means I would have to restore factory settings and everything would be deleted. I would hate to have to restore the factory settings.

I can't figure out what it going on and I'm hoping that somebody here can help me. I am using the stock HTC calendar widget for my calendar, but I can't get any calendar entries dated before April 1,2010 to sync with my phone anymore ~ they were there when I first got my phone, but now they are gone. My google calendar goes back over 2 years when I view it on my computer so I know all the information is still there, I just can't get it to show up on my phone. Any idea what has happened? Oh, and if anyone can suggest a better calendar application? than the HTC one, that will still sync with my Google calendar, I'm willing to try that and just forget about the HTC one.

I created some events in my google calendar on my Mac desktop. I am not using iCal for this, I am using Google. Anyway, when I mounted my Droid to the desktop, I figured it would sync on its own with the new information I entered on the desktop calendar but nothing changed on the phone. The only change I noticed was that US Holidays popped up but several events I created did not show up on my phone. What am I doing wrong? I thought the Droid syncs with no problem with the google calendar?
