View 11 RepliesSo when i go into my Google calendar online I can subscribe to an event feed. That works great. I can see the events in my calendar. However when i go to my S3 and make sure that my account settings are syncing the calendar i only see items i have entered and not the subscription items. Is this how its supposed to work?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I have been playing around with contacts and google calendar syncing on my Droid, and I love it. I also know that it uses a very small amount of battery.
Looking at Spare Parts and the battery information, google uses MAYBE a minute a day for syncing, which is absolutely nothing.
Anyways, anyone know how often it syncs? Seems to be every 12-24 hours.
My Google calendar is not syncing. It was until the update. Did something change? What setting do I need to have to make sure it syncs.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI created some events in my google calendar on my Mac desktop. I am not using iCal for this, I am using Google. Anyway, when I mounted my Droid to the desktop, I figured it would sync on its own with the new information I entered on the desktop calendar but nothing changed on the phone. The only change I noticed was that US Holidays popped up but several events I created did not show up on my phone. What am I doing wrong? I thought the Droid syncs with no problem with the google calendar?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just noticed that my Google calendar isn't automatically syncing with my phone despite the fact that I have it set to sync automatically. I enter new appointments on my computer and it isn't until I go in and actually ask the phone to sync that the appointments show up. Anyone else noticed this? Any fix? I've been through all the settings and can't seem to find a setting to set it to sync for specific time intervals (every hour, or once a day, etc.). Anyone else find this setting?

I'm a new Droid Eris user and have been using Google Calendar for some time.I have a single calendar set up which is syncing with the Eris.I can successfully add/edit/delete entries from both applications and have them show up just fine on the other side.I have a couple of recurring entries that I've since deleted in Google Calendar but are still showing up on my Eris. The unique thing about both of these entries is that they were meeting requests sent to my Gmail address and accepted from there. They have since been cancelled from the original sender and are now removed from my Google Calendar. My calendar entries are labeled as dark blue, and these two show as light blue.I cannot select them on the Eris to edit or delete them.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWe've been having some issues with syncing between Google calendar and the Droid Xs. We would delete an appointment in Google calendar (on the browser), and it would disappear on that, but it would still appear on the Droid Xs. I would delete it on my phone, but it wouldn't go away on my wife's (she subscribes to my calendar, read-only), and the within a few seconds of deleting it on mine, the appointment would reappear on mine. Any ideas? Where do I go on the phone to look at when the phone syncs with google's server?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just noticed that none of my events on my Droid have any reminders. They have reminders in Google Calendar online, and in Outlook (they are sync'd from Outlook to Google Calendar by the "Syncmycal" program.) So somewhere between Google Calendar and my Droid I'm loosing reminder settings. The events are all there in my calendar, but none of them has a reminder set.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have two gmail accounts. My primary works find on my DX. I have shared my second calendar with my primary and my appointments for both show up fine online, and in my DX calendar list, it says my second calendar is on there, but nothing is showing up. I've tried adding new appointments both on device and computer, but they don't sync for that calendar.
Am I missing something? Or does anyone know of a calendar app that will sync with a second gmail calendar?
The events I am scheduling on my Hero are not syncing to my Outlook calender.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Eris running Android 1.5. My problem is that when my phone syncs with my Google Calendar, events that aren't on my Google Cal sometimes show up on my phone's calendar. The events that are showing up are events that repeat on a weekly basis but I deleted them for certain weeks on my Google Cal, yet they still show up on my phone. This is starting to become a hassle because I keep thinking that I have to do things when I really don't. I've already cleared the calendar data on my phone and restarted like the Google troubleshooting tips say, but that didn't work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI try to sync my calendar with google calendar I get a message that's says there is no calendar events currently synced. So I go to settings-accounts-Gmail- and it only gives me the option to sync contacts and gmail, not the calendar. How do I add in the calendar so that I can sync it? I only have the one Gmail account. My friend thinks I may have to remove the gmail account then add it back in, but doing so means I would have to restore factory settings and everything would be deleted. I would hate to have to restore the factory settings.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI have a Macbook with iCal configured to match my Google calendar account. The two sync together with no problem. I tried setting up my HTC Desire to sync with my Google account which should give me three way sync but I get the following problem: I open Calendar on my phone, I try to add an event, a message appears saying: YOU HAVE NO CALENDARS. On the settings side, if I hit MENU then MORE and I choose CALENDARS I can't see my Google account. If I hit SETTINGS there is nothing to add my Google account. If I go to the ACCOUNTS & SYNC settings, I see my Google account, but when I hit my account, the data synchronization theme only shows SYNC CONTACTS and SYNC GMAIL, there is no SYNC GOOLGLE CALENDAR. I had Syncmate installed on my macbook and had it configured on my Desire, but it didn't sync the calendar either so I deleted it from my accounts. Could this be causing my problem or does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecent switcher to Android and owner of brand new Galaxy S4 here. I have two separate Gmail accounts, one for work and one for home. Each has its own Google Calendar. Both accounts are linked to my phone.
However, I want separate apps on my GS4 to handle each Google calendar. My phone came with S Planner and I have added Google Calendar App (GCA) from the Play store.
On S Planner I choose to display the home account calendar - no problems so far. I then switch to GCA and choose to display the work account calendar. Great. However, and this is my problem, these apps now seem to be 'linked', such that when I then go back into S Planner from GCA it is now displaying the work account calendar instead of the home calendar.
In other words, changes in one app seem to be mirrored in the other app. Is there any way around this, so that each app only displays one account calendar?
I made all the appointments in my Calendar for MY CALENDAR but now on my GMAIL CALENDAR nothing is there, but they are both color coded blue so why don't they sync together?

I am using the stock HTC calendar widget for my calendar, but I can't get any calendar entries dated before April 1,2010 to sync with my phone anymore ~ they were there when I first got my phone, but now they are gone. My google calendar goes back over 2 years when I view it on my computer so I know all the information is still there, I just can't get it to show up on my phone. Any idea what has happened? Oh, and if anyone can suggest a better calendar application? than the HTC one, that will still sync with my Google calendar, I'm willing to try that and just forget about the HTC one.

All of a sudden, it isn't syncing one of my google calendars (i have 3, all on the same account, and the other 2 are shown)I have gone into the settings of the calendar, and the missing calendar is listed and ticked. However, nothing is shown on the calendar on the phone (there are events if i check it online).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was experimenting with linking my wife's calendar with mine.It did not go well.Works ok in a browser but not on the Droid/Rezound.
Now i have entries in the calendar on the Rezound that are not in the synced Google Calendar online.I entered a new appt in the browser calendar and it synced just fine but I don't know how to get rid of the orphan entries in the calendar.
In a worst case scenario should I just create another google account for the calendar to sync with?I can't really change the google acct that the phone is based on because I have several market purchases that are linked to that account.
yesterday i see for the first time the calendar app in the play store, this make me foolish, because it is not the same app pre-installed in every ROM....

How do you sync Premier League fixtures (Liverpool FC) with google calendar, and make it show up on my LPP agenda widget? I have googled this, but cant seem to find a solution to it. First, I have already added LFC fixtures to my google calendar in "other calendars", via google itself, but cannot seem to be able to make it show up in LPP widget. Previously I used the Telegraph fixture list, but its been discontinued for some reason (rights issue maybe?). Does anyone know a solution to this?

Specifically some of us want to use our Android devices to talk to our company exchange/syncml servers.. Syncing with google calendar using the various programs isnt allowed..
Syncml works, just like symbian has it.
This is a weird problem but when my calendar syncs it syncs all the events but they are all several hours later than they are on my Google Calendar on my computer. I'm looking at my phone and my computer right now, and all the events are here except all events on my phone are pushed back. Any ideas?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to froyo, I have 3 problems that did not exist before.
1. Laggy keyboard. I do not type crazy fast, but a lot of times I will be hitting letters, and nothing appears on the screen for a second or two.
2. Calendar not syncing with google. I have different calendars set up in my google calendar (bills, birthdays, etc). I have about 5 calendars with different settings, and only a few sync. I went into settings on the phone, and all are checked to sync.
3. Text message alerts. Notification by icon in notification bar and sound is sporadic, and a lot of times I have new messages with no indication.
