I have never used bluetooth on any of my phones. Since I see it as a waste of resources on my phone, I was wondering if anyone has deleted it without issues. Is it tied to other apps in a way to make it required?

Basically I have a couple devices showing in my bluetooth list that I no longer own and would like to delete them from that list. Is there a simple way to do it that I'm overlooking? This is probably more of an OCD thing than a superneccessity, but any help would be appreciated.

Can I complete a NANDROID backup at anytime? Or just when I flash a new ROM? How would I use a NANDROID backup if I actually needed one? Can I delete old ones off my SD card? I have deleted all my contacts on google and was hoping the Eris would synch and delete as well. However, the contacts remain on the phone.
