Oct 19, 2010It disappeared. Is there a setting I can turn this back on with. The three buttons at the bottom of my home screen are gone.

Mar 29, 2010I just installed lock 2.0 and i was just adjusting the settings and now every time I'm in my phone and i touch the "Home" button it locks my phone instead of taking me back to my home screen! Is this normal? Did I accidental do it in the settings? HELP its driving me crazy

Nov 11, 2010I have had my HTC Desire for about 2 months now and I have just accidentally learned that if you hold down the home button for about a second or 2, it brings up a neat little 'last used apps' screen. I am using LP so i don't know if it is part of Android or the launcher but I found this pretty neat.

Feb 15, 2014Swiping to close each app all the time is inefficient for me. I realize other people might not want this but I want whatever app I was using to completely close when I tap the home button. There is one app that puts an X on your homescreen that closes everything when clicked. That is a little better but I want to go one step further and have the home button do the same thing. Is there anything out there for that?

May 13, 2010I have the motorola droid. I got the handcent app because I really like all the customization options within it. However, lately I have been having this annoying problem. Sometimes when I have just sent a message, when I press the home button to return to the homescreen, it goes home but all my apps have vanished. I can go through my menu and replace them all to where they were, or I can reboot the phone and that usually corrects it. It is still annoying and is really putting me off the app. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know if there is a specific cause or how I can correct it?

Oct 6, 2010When clicking and holding the home button the very useful modal dialogue appears showing the list of recently used programs/applications. Unfortunately, most of the time it appears and then disappears again. It is very annoying and makes this feature useless.
I am using LauncherPro on my Android 2.1 (CyanogenMod 5.0.8 DS), but with ADW launcher it showed the same behaviour.
HTC Droid Eris :: Home Button / Speaker Always On Bug Sfter Update - Fix It?
Jul 23, 2010I have been running the v3 leak and after the last update, the home button (after pressing it) will return the screen back to the same screen I was just on. The speaker is on all the time, until I turn it off. The next time I use the phone, the speaker is back on. Any suggestions? I have done several hard resets with no luck. The problem started right after the update, then went away after a couple of days and now is back.

Aug 26, 2010I love LauncherPro and Froyo, but every time I use a ROM for a few days, LP starts to bug out on me. The problem occurs when I wake up the phone or when I return to the home screen after using a program for awhile.
I have tweaked my settings quite a bit, and I can't seem to avoid this kind of behavior. My overclock settings are 785-245 and I have tried messing with the LP settings, but I can't find that golden combination.
Lots of people say LP is the best option for Froyo, and I certainly like it best... when it's working. So could someone who is having no problems please share the secret to your success?

Oct 7, 2010I have not had any problems with connection but cannot get the dadblame phone to light up while on a call. I'm a realtor and bought a Jawbone Icon (which has been great) so that I can see my calendar while talking to someone, but if I'm talking to someone using the Bluetooth, once the screen goes off, it ain't coming back. I can turn the earpiece off and then wave my hand in front of the proximity sensor and then it will light up, but for obvious reasons, that don't make me happy.

Aug 26, 2010I know that kaos is OC'd to 710 by default, but has anyone tried setting their main SetCPU profile to a lower frequency? Tonight I lowered mine to 245/528 to see what it'd be like, and I honestly haven't noticed much of a difference. Maybe some of my LauncherPro animations aren't as smooth, but that might just be in my head.
Haven't tested this beyond a few hours or with heavy multitasking, but I think I might run with it for a while and see what happens.
UPDATE: Getting Linpack scores around 3.5, which isn't as high as the 4.5+ I was getting before, but is just as high as or higher than the scores I've gotten on most other ROMs (including xtr).

Oct 17, 2010I just Flashed to KaosFroyo V37 from White Widow. So far the Froyo seems to be much faster and smoother than WW. My only issue is that I cannot get Ford's Sync to pair with the phone on this ROM. It has worked on every 2.1 ROM that I have used. It gets to the point where you enter the PIN into the phone and then the connect process crashes.

Aug 11, 2010I finally rooted my Eris and installed KaosFroyo. All seems ok, had some issues to deal with, but got them figured out. Yesterday, I wanted to connect to my slingplayer, but my app doesn't work. It just starts, then disappears. I never get a screen up. Any ideas, or is there a log somewhere on why it might be crashing or whatever is actually happening.I also tried to move it to the SD card in Manage Applications and it says it is copy protected. Not sure if that has any bearing on this, but thought I'd mention it.I do like the KaosFroyo and really didn't want to start over with a different ROM.
