Is there a MMS fix for KaosFroyo yet? Its not the end of the world if there isn't, I was just wondering. I'm on KaosFroyo v29 btw. Works great otherwise.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated to v38 and I am having a contact sync issue it appears that it did not sync all my contacts that I have with Google. is there any way to force the sync? Also my service has been a little sketchy is there anyway to do a *228 #2 update I try to do it and it does 1 all the time?
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason whenever I receive a text both my led light and the trackball won't light up. I use handcent sms for messaging and I have turned them both on in settings, but they still won't light up.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI love LauncherPro and Froyo, but every time I use a ROM for a few days, LP starts to bug out on me. The problem occurs when I wake up the phone or when I return to the home screen after using a program for awhile.
I have tweaked my settings quite a bit, and I can't seem to avoid this kind of behavior. My overclock settings are 785-245 and I have tried messing with the LP settings, but I can't find that golden combination.
Lots of people say LP is the best option for Froyo, and I certainly like it best... when it's working. So could someone who is having no problems please share the secret to your success?
Right now I'm running KaosFroyo V37 and I'm loving it, but I don't like the stock android camera application. Is there any way I could get HTC's sense ui camera back onto my phone?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have not had any problems with connection but cannot get the dadblame phone to light up while on a call. I'm a realtor and bought a Jawbone Icon (which has been great) so that I can see my calendar while talking to someone, but if I'm talking to someone using the Bluetooth, once the screen goes off, it ain't coming back. I can turn the earpiece off and then wave my hand in front of the proximity sensor and then it will light up, but for obvious reasons, that don't make me happy.

I know it has to be something with the rom because when I restored back to stock to check there were no issues. Is this a known problem with this particular rom or 2.2?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI want to know, Evil Eris or Kaosfroyo? I'd be using the latest version of each, I've tried, each, and they both run smoothly. I prefer Kaosfroyo because it has no Sense, but Evil Eris is very stable and very sexy. I can't decide.
View 22 Replies View RelatedI know that kaos is OC'd to 710 by default, but has anyone tried setting their main SetCPU profile to a lower frequency? Tonight I lowered mine to 245/528 to see what it'd be like, and I honestly haven't noticed much of a difference. Maybe some of my LauncherPro animations aren't as smooth, but that might just be in my head.
Haven't tested this beyond a few hours or with heavy multitasking, but I think I might run with it for a while and see what happens.
UPDATE: Getting Linpack scores around 3.5, which isn't as high as the 4.5+ I was getting before, but is just as high as or higher than the scores I've gotten on most other ROMs (including xtr).
Anybody have any good themes for Kaosfroyo v29?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just Flashed to KaosFroyo V37 from White Widow. So far the Froyo seems to be much faster and smoother than WW. My only issue is that I cannot get Ford's Sync to pair with the phone on this ROM. It has worked on every 2.1 ROM that I have used. It gets to the point where you enter the PIN into the phone and then the connect process crashes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI finally rooted my Eris and installed KaosFroyo. All seems ok, had some issues to deal with, but got them figured out. Yesterday, I wanted to connect to my slingplayer, but my app doesn't work. It just starts, then disappears. I never get a screen up. Any ideas, or is there a log somewhere on why it might be crashing or whatever is actually happening.I also tried to move it to the SD card in Manage Applications and it says it is copy protected. Not sure if that has any bearing on this, but thought I'd mention it.I do like the KaosFroyo and really didn't want to start over with a different ROM.

Pulled the trigger last night on both rooting and flahsing KaosFroyo v30.... LOVE IT! much faster than 2.1 OTA with sense. I do miss my sense widgets though So what are my options?

Launcher2 - flash update to KaosFroyo? no idea what comes with it though.

I really want to get my favorites, bookmarks, calendar (I NEED this one), messaging and email widgets would be nice but not required.
Does KaosFroyo v34 have SetCPU built in? Or is it even compatible with this kernel? If yes, where do I find it? I really want to tweak things to see if I can get this battery to last longer.
Also, any idea how to set a CA/user certificates in: Settings>Wireless & Networks>VPN Settings>Add VPN>Add OpenVPN VPN (when I select either of those, the only option I have is "Cancel")
I have tried the default messaging app and I have tried handcent, and it always does a force close.
as of right now, I can't view any sms texts, etc...
what gives?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was using xtrSense briefly right before I switched to KaosFroyo v31 and I must say I was very impressed with the responsiveness of xtrSense.That would be my first choice ROM for anyone wanting an Android 2.1 ROM with Sense.Since I switched to KaosFroyo I'm loving Android 2.2 (and missing my HTC sense weather widget,) however it's a good deal less responsive than xtrSense. I turned off JIT because I wanted to go the most stable route, and switched back to LauncherPro.Mostly I notice the reduced responsiveness when typing on the soft keyboard and when switching from portrait to landscape.What's the best way to improve responsiveness in KaosFroyo without overclocking more than "stock?"

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just recently flashed to KaosFroyo and I absolutley love it! But there are two problems that I have with it and I was hoping someone could help me out.
1. The softkey lights stay on but if I rotate the phone vertical they will turn off...kinda strange. I remember reading about it somewhere and a possible fix but I can't remember where.
2. I tried calling *228 to re-program my phone's roaming capabilities and when I call it I get brought to a new activation screen that I never had before with 2.1. But anyways, there is no way to select menu options because there is no keyboard!
3. When ever I plug my phone in to charge and I touch it, icons will start to be highlighted and my screens will move around. I am almost positive that it is a hardware defect but Verizon won't replace it because I forgot to wipe 2.2 off it before I brought it in.
I just switched from PlainJane to KaosFroyo v35-1 the other day and I just found out that my google maps does not work. It can never find my location so I cant use the GPS.

Everytime I play any music or even a rng tone through the speaker it always sounds tinny and distorted. Everything sounded great before when I had the stock 2.1 Firmware.
