I would like to transfer pics from my computer to my phone. where on the sd card do i save them? pics i have taken with my evo go into the 100Media folder inside of the DCIM folder on my sd card. should i just dump all of the pics in this folder? will the folder be sorted out by date, or is there an app that would be good for organizing pictures and making slideshows?

I transfer some pics from my computer to my g1. I only had about 5 pictures total and then a few days later they all seemed to disappear except for one. Does anyone know what might have caused this or has this happened to anyone? I'm not really making a big deal out of it im just curious as to what might have happened?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an android phone (Moto Droid Mini XT1030, though i wouldn't think it should matter) and i want the pictures i take with it to automatically be sent to a folder on my PC everytime i am connected to a wifi network. Currently they automatically go to Google+ which is of debatable value. Sometimes Google products are fantastic and other times they seem to be missing such blatantly obvious features that it makes me crazy... but i digress.
I don't want to install any 3rd party apps if at all possible, especially on the PC. I already have G Drive installed on the PC and a drive folder would be sufficient (as opposed to a conventional folder on the PC) if that's easier to accomplish.
I want to transfer the pics from the phone to the sd card.

Well I can't seem to delete enough stuff to get back above 80 MB available memory, I deleted pics, texts messages and various apps that I would have liked to keep. I started playing with my wife's phone which has more apps then mine, I checked her available phone memory and she has 102 MB!!! I can't figure out what I could have on my phone memory that would be taking up over 20 MB of space. Where can I look to try and figure this out? My wife's phone is very zippy and quick, while my phone waits forever when switching apps.
Also, How do I transfer pics I have taken on my phone to the SD card instead of using phone memory?
Can't figure this one out. I have an SD card in the phone and pics loaded on it from my computer. No problem there.
PROBLEM: The pics I take WITH the phone camera just go somewhere IN the phone - NOT to my SD card. I can't find any option in the pics to "save to SD card" or anything like that. I had the phone updated the other day and it wiped all the pics I had taken with the phone - but not the SD ones. Now I have more photos and no way to save them to the SD card?
I have tried all the previous posts about this issue; however, no luck. I want to transfer files from my phone to computer. Computer runs windows 7 64bit so VZ Cast or what ever it's called won't work. How do I set up an HTC sync? I also want to be able to do drag and drop. I also don't see an option in menu section for video or movie? With my samsung it was easy, as the PC studio software left you drag and drop movies in, it converted them, and then went straight into the phones movie folder. Desire seems very different?
I recently purchased a Motorola Droid and I have to say that, while I am not easily impressed by anything, I am quite impressed with it. I tried emailing the video, but no attachments went thru. Is there a way to export it via USB, etc.? I know they can be sent straight to youtube if there is wifi available, but I want to send it to the computer for viewing, forwarding, burning to dvd, etc. Any advice anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

I now have a Moment. next week I'm getting an EVO. my question is this. can I take the sd card from the Moment and transfer the Apps I have saved to the EVO and use them on the EVO ...... or do I have to re download all of the Apps from the market again? I have them all backed up with "on the Fly Backup"

With the card, all photos automatically go to the card and easily into my PC. However the first 2 pics aren't recognized and I thought I might use the USB. I just got my first text with a picture since getting this phone last week. In the message, it says "slideshow" and when I click on the "picture", it gives me three icons at the bottom. The far right icon allows me to "save" the picture, but I don't know where it's saving it to, if at all.
