.3gp sounds so ghetto to me for some reason. not to mention, the 720p recording blows. the sound blows too. when will the update fix all this? i was expecting like HD quality videos coming out of 720p. whats the best way to solve this issue?

I have searched the whole group but wasn't able to find a answer for my problem.I want to record audio from the microphone, apply some audio signal processing and than save the processed audio data in a compressed format.I figured out, how to record audio uncompressed but now I wonder if I can use some api functions to store this data in a supported compressed format.

Set to video and voila! You've got a nice video flashlight for night capturing. Just be sure to go back to the LED Desire Light prog to disable it after use.

I think there should be some message broadcast receiver invoked when a call is accepted and application should be started in background and record the conversation. Would like to know if this is actually possible and it it is then what classes to refer to?
One more thing if I want to send the recorded file to a server through GPRS then is there any limit in size for it to get transfer through GPRS? All was well until the last update, where version 3.6.0 was corrupted in the Android Market. I have spoken to the developer by email and the problem has been fixed now. However, whenever I try to download now, the download fails, and Market FC's when I cancel the download. I have managed to find an old version I had backed up, but I am now stuck at v2.7.3. Can someone post the apk for version 2.8.0 please? I have asked the developer, but he did not reply. This is a paid app, and is linked to the phone ID, so I am not trying to install without paying.

So I guess I am looking for 1 of 3 things.

2. Way to convert it simply on the phone to a compatible type.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI don't have many paid apps; I use the Hero-a-like Pure Grid Calendar Widget and a remote recorder app for Sky TV called Record It, and that's about it.
Since upgrading to 1.6, I can't seem to download Record It, it doesn't appear on the market. I thought at first this was the old "apps not appearing on market" issue, but as far as I can tell all the other usual suspects are appearing correctly.
What gives here, what am I missing? Is it related to the above issue, or has the app been pulled from the market (anyone use it who can confirm?) Or is there something else "special" about this app that means it doesn't appear when everything else seems to?
