I just bought this new 40'' hdtv n i converted movies on my evo with a converter. when i watch videos on my evo the quality looks great but when i connect the evo to my tv n watch something its all fuzzy looks n it does not look like hd, anyone know how to convert movies in perfect quality?

I have read a few threads, but they aren't saying the evo4g is having this problem. but mine is. i imported my contacts from my outlook and all the images are coming up blurry when i receive calls and make them. also, a lot of the images on my contacts aren't even showing up on the phone, but i see them in the outlook actually it looks like the Vermeer images i was using when i had my iphone aren't loading, but regular images are. anyways, for the regular images from the outlook sync to the phone, is there a way to get them clearer?

I'm using high resolution pictures from my computer, but they're still showing up fuzzy on calls. The weird thing about the people widget is that a few of the pictures will show up clear, but the rest look horrible. Someone told me the issue was that Google compresses the pictures when they're synced with the contacts down to around 96x96, if that's the case, does anyone know if that can be changed? (I'm assuming not)

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just loaded a bunch of my personal photos onto my Incredible's SD card from my Nikon D300 but all the photos are fuzzy, what am I doing wrong? Could the photos be too large since the Nikon is 12mp camera? I wanted to load one as my wallpaper but it never loaded so I'm thinking perhaps I need to crop all these photos in Photoshop before loading it.I want to use the SD card to show family photos (in a slideshow mode) to friends, and studio photography work to potential clients.Also, I was using the standard photo icon to view the photos, is there something that works better?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I take videos with my droid, they always have "noise" in them. Little fuzzy dots of green and such (If you don't know what I mean by noise). I have set the quality to high and all that good stuff, even did changed the videos mbps from 3 to 8 with that trick that was posted, to no avail. Anyway, here is the video. Its pretty hard to see the problem with youtubes quality, but if you can spot it just picture it as being a hell of a lot worse. Also, the darkness is not part of the problem, I realize the droid doesn't do well in dimly lit areas, although my room is brighter than the video lets on. Pay close attention to the walls, especially when I look at the ceiling and you may see it through YouTubes bad quality.

Just received my Epic via the little Brown truck yesterday, and I'm loving most everything about it so far.One niggle is the gap between the 'top' half of the phone (the sliding part with the screen) and the chrome trim ring is variable.While resting camera down on a table, the gap is consistent all around. but if you were to hold the device by the 'top' part, the gap along the side where the volume buttons are grows to almost the thickness of a quarter ($0.25). It's almost if it's wobbling on the slider mechanism, when the slider is CLOSED (unlike when open, as in other posts).Another niggle is that the button to the left of the HOME button is not equally lit across the image (looks like a page).It's almost as if the image fades from left (bright) to right (dim).Finally, the camera is completely crap. Even in a well lit office environment, the image that is centered and 'focused' before the shutter falls comes out blurred and ugly.Strangely, the background is crystal clear.Flash or not makes no difference.Otherwise, all my pixels are lively, the function keys on the bottom are all equally responsive to the touch I would expect to make them work, and voice quality is great.So is my experience unique, like the device is a lemon, or is it consistent with this gizmo?

I've been a member for a little while, but until now I've been able to just search and find answers to my questions. However, for this issue I can't seem to find anything. I bought a micro HDMI cable, and it works great when I play videos that I have recorded. However, I am not able to play movies and TV shows that I download and play with Rock Player. I've tried a bunch of file formats, and I haven't been able to play any of my own videos without Rock Player. That doesn't really matter to me as it still works fine. But, I would like to be able to plug in the HDMI cable and play a movie on a TV, but when I try, it just plays on the phone screen. So has anyone been able to play their own movies on a TV with the HDMI? Can anyone provide some input here?

After a first gen Iphone, a 3G and a 3GS, I found the Iphone 4 to feel a little stale. The one thing I really enjoyed about the Iphone was the ease of getting media onto the phone. All I had to do to get a movie or a tv show onto the phone was connect the phone, hit the itunes store, and voila. I have not been able to figure out how to get movies, tv, etc. onto the Captivate.

View 5 Replies View RelatedBefore the update, I can play m4v file just fine on EVO. However, I tried to play the movies I played before, it won't work now. The files are m4v. I used handbrake to convert them from mkv. " The file type not found" would show up when I tried to play it. I am converting one movie to mp4 now, try to see if it's the file type that prevents me from playing it.

Well, I'm a MAC guy and I downloaded them in iTunes which was perfect having an iPhone. But now with getting my EVO is there a way to get those Downloads to work on the EVO? Or is it DRM'd only for Apple devices? And in the future is there a way to download them without iTunes on a MAC?
