Aug 1, 2010I can't figure out how to put my movies I got on Itunes on to my Evo. I tried double twist I hate it it wouldn't convert most of my songs. I tried I tunes agent but it just talked about music.

HTC EVO 4G :: Playing Movies With HDMI Out
Nov 15, 2010I've been a member for a little while, but until now I've been able to just search and find answers to my questions. However, for this issue I can't seem to find anything. I bought a micro HDMI cable, and it works great when I play videos that I have recorded. However, I am not able to play movies and TV shows that I download and play with Rock Player. I've tried a bunch of file formats, and I haven't been able to play any of my own videos without Rock Player. That doesn't really matter to me as it still works fine. But, I would like to be able to plug in the HDMI cable and play a movie on a TV, but when I try, it just plays on the phone screen. So has anyone been able to play their own movies on a TV with the HDMI? Can anyone provide some input here?

Jun 23, 2010I put a movie on my HTC hero and could not get it to play. The movie was in mp4 format but when I went to play it all I got was sound and no image. the screen went black while the audio played and the phone froze up. Does anybody know what the problem is?

Jul 28, 2010I am a former IPhone junkie who just switched to a Captivate. I am really enjoying the Captivate/Android experience. After a first gen Iphone, a 3G and a 3GS, I found the Iphone 4 to feel a little stale. The one thing I really enjoyed about the Iphone was the ease of getting media onto the phone. All I had to do to get a movie or a tv show onto the phone was connect the phone, hit the itunes store, and voila. I have not been able to figure out how to get movies, tv, etc. onto the Captivate.

Aug 7, 2010Before the update, I can play m4v file just fine on EVO. However, I tried to play the movies I played before, it won't work now. The files are m4v. I used handbrake to convert them from mkv. " The file type not found" would show up when I tried to play it. I am converting one movie to mp4 now, try to see if it's the file type that prevents me from playing it.

Jun 17, 2010I have about 10 digital download movies that came with my blu-rays but at the time I had my iPhone so I never thought about it. Well, I'm a MAC guy and I downloaded them in iTunes which was perfect having an iPhone. But now with getting my EVO is there a way to get those Downloads to work on the EVO? Or is it DRM'd only for Apple devices? And in the future is there a way to download them without iTunes on a MAC?

Jun 28, 2010I would like to move my Family Guy episodes and perhaps Caddyshack or any other great movie to my DInc but alas iTunes has shut me down with AAC protection. Some of the other posts I saw suggested using Doubletwist which I downloaded on my Mac and seems like it would work, yet the files are still protected so that doesn't help. Another said to use FairGame to take the DRM protection off of the file so I can transfer them, but that didn't work either. Is there ANY easy answer that won't cost me anything or be difficult to do? Anybody out there already do this on their DInc?
