General :: WiFi IPv4 Address Unavailable
Oct 23, 2013my IPv4 is unavailable when i connect to wifi network.but i can connect to the internet via mobile data.BUT, when i restart my phone with wifi turned on and a wifi network which it can connect, IPv4 will be detected, but my mobile data will suffer because all of my APN's will disappear, but when i restart my phone w/ Wifi off, APN's will be restored.
my phone is Cherry Mobile Cosmos X a quad core MT6589
HTC Desire : SD-card Unavailable After USB-connection - Your Content Is Unavailable
Apr 26, 2010So I used my phone as a storage-device connecting it to my computer via USB earlier today, and just now I notice that I can't browse my photos or music. It says:
"Your content is unavailable because your phone is being used as USB storage. Disconnect USB to access your content."
Before unplugging the phone earlier, I rightclicked the little icon at the bottom-right of my computer screen and chose "disconnect storage device", after which I received notification that it was then safe to remove the device. Is there something more I should be doing, a similar setting in the phone? Or did it just bug and I need a reboot?
General :: Correct Address Format In Address Book And GPS
Jan 23, 2013I like to add addresses to my phone book in Android. As a lot of my contacts live in buildings i also like to add the floor and apartment number to the address: Looking like that:
Street and Number, Floor and Department number
Town, zip code
State
Country
Example;
Av. Whatever 12345, Floor 5-A
Buenos Aires 1007
Argentina
When clicking on the address the GPS of my wish opens , finds the country, city but not the street because of the additional Floor and department information. Without this additional information everything well with Google Maps or Sygic.
So, how should i add this additional Floor and department information to my address without the GPS has problems to find the main location.Also from ICS on there is only one filed to add the whole address not as with Gingerbread where you had a field for street, city, etc.
HTC Desire :: Address Book Only Gives One Line Of Address
May 30, 2010Just getting used to my HTC Desire, after reading your forum I was comforted regarding battery life and it seems much better now than the first few days.
I see another post on this but no answer, the address book only gives one line of the address is then any way round this? Even my first pda a Psion 3 had the option of which fields to display etc. there seems very little option to format what is seen, not that I am unhappy about the rest but to have to edit to see all the address is barmy.
Another thing way back then that still is not found is search all fields of the contacts, i.e. to find a number of someone that rang on another phone.
Nexus : N1 - Sorry Weather Currently Unavailable
Jul 14, 2010A few days ago the weather suddenly stopped working on the native News and Weather app. All I keep getting is the Sorry, weather currently unavailable message. The news however, is still working fine.
When I do a refresh it doesn't change and when I try to manually set my location it always comes back as "nothing found" no matter what I type in. I've tested it in different Wi-Fi locations as well as using 3G which all returned the same result.
This is weird because the weather is working and updating fine on my Fancy Widget app. GPS is also working fine.
I've tried rebooting the phone as well with no change.
I'm running the OTA version of Android 2.2 build FRF91 on my Nexus One.

Sep 10, 2009The Gmail address book on the Web contains a field for birthdays, so why not the Android address book? While I'm sure the app could undergo a lot of changes (and everyone would have different ideas) something as basic as a birthday seems obvious.

The error message from the HTC Sense Facebook app is: The service is currently unavailable. Do you want to try again.
The error message from the Facebook for Android app was something like: There was a problem during login. Try again later.
Tried:
logging in via wifi, 3G, 4G - all signals here are strong clearing cache from both apps and also shutting them down between switching some of options to make sure of fresh attempts.
My wife has an Evo too (actually it's her account). Tried it on both our phones with same result
updated PRL, took the ota update - still no successful login before or after changed password on facebook account
Then Success for one of the Apps:
I got success for one of the apps by going into the Android Market place and downloading the most current version of Facebook for Android. After that I was able to login using that particular app.
However, of course, my wife wants to try the Friend Stream and HTC Sense stuff. And that is still giving the "The service is currently unavailable. Do you want to try again" error. We added another email login to her facebook account because her original email had some dashes in it so I thought perhaps it was choking on the special character. Her other email is more straightforward. Still no luck with the HTC app though.
Also, We know of someone else who just got an Evo and he says he's been streaming using the HTC Sense widget/App just fine. He's in the city and we're in the burbs though.
Any ideas as to what this might be? From looking it up on the net, when most people who got that message from the HTC app, it ended up with it just somehow magically working at some point later? Anyone know how that app works in terms of what it's referring to when it says "service is unavailable"? Is that referring to a service on the phone or perhaps some service on facebook's/HTC's/or Sprint's end?
Odd that I was able to get the Facebook for Android app going by just updating the software. That made me think that maybe the newer app tweaked something that the HTC App isn't tweaked for. I don't think there's any updates for the HTC widgets though, right? Aren't they built into the OS? Since it's working for other people, then I wonder if it might be a setting in her facebook account.

HTC Desire : SD Card Unavailable While Charging
May 14, 2010whenever I connect the phone to any PC for charging (and yes I am selecting the Charge Only option ), the SD card becomes unavailable for the phone to use - e.g music playback stops etc. Is this just one of those 'features' I have to live with or am I missing something? Interestingly when I connect, even though I do select charge only, the PC still pops up with the usual Autorun options - I guess this is related but dont see how the PC should be able to recognise the card in charge mode?

Feb 27, 2010I installed the 2.1 deskclock because the 2.0.1 was just too bright. Last night i put it in my multimedia dock. However there is no weather. It just says "weather temperature unavailable". I went into the settings and the weather settings is defualted for my zip code. it does show my location and temp. I done understand then why it does not display temp in the dock.

May 5, 2010I wanted to setup Google Voice on my phone to use it for my voicemail app and so I could use it for free Visual Voicemail.
Unfortuantely, the shortcut to get to the GoogleVoice app doesn't appear under Programs, Widgets, or Shortcuts. The only one showing up is "Toggle Google Voice". I can open the app if I go into the Android store and click Open from there, but come on. That's ridiculous. I know it should have a shortcut, but have no idea why it's not appear on my phone. I've tried powering down/up and uninstalling/reinstalling already.

May 2, 2010I connected the Incredible to my mac and did not touch the internal storage; I just created a folder on the SD card to move a ringtone over from my laptop. Now, when I load up the camera, I get a message: Phone storage is full or unavailable. Storage has been switched to SD card.
UPDATE: I just shut it down. After rebooting, it was able to read the internal phone storage. Not sure why it did that.

It's having an option of call forwarding rejection method.so i use to keep a some real unavailable number in that option n make choose that call forwarding rejection/blocking method.i think due to this option that app was able to do so(as like my requirement).

Jul 21, 2010My application for the most part prefers to be online, I have of course added an offline mode so that it works perfectly well when not attached and then re-syncs when connected again.I do, however, have an issue with the initial start of the main activity "black screening" on me while (i assume) it is waiting on a TCP timeout.It would be nice to query and skip the download step if the network is super slow.
