Is there anyway to use them? I was really fond of the calendar and news feed widget. And now since I'm running ADW the widgets don't appear. Do they only run on sense?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI really like Sense but I really want to try out the transparent widget mods for launcherpro plus (which I already bought). Is there any way to get the launcherpro widgets in sense? I know the opposite can't be done, but I figure since I paid for the extra widgets, it would be cool if I could use them outside of the launcher. And I know, launcher pro is awesome...I have beautiful widgets and I know that is almost the same but the weather animations are a pain because they come up on any screen and in my apps and I have to tap to clear them and then I can scroll. With sense I just unlock and scroll and I like that alot better right now.
View 17 Replies View RelatedI just installed Launcher Pro Beta, and am trying to "flavor" up my EVO. I really used the stock sense widgets that toggled 4g, wifi, BT, etc, but am unable to find them with the new home launcher. Am i unable to use the previously installed default widgets with this launcher/home? How about the default weather/clock combo, i can't seem to find a way to add it either. I liked the simple look of the Launcher Pro icons along the bottom, that's all i really wanted changed.
EDIT - Found it, will need Beautiful Widgets or something similar
I changed up from TW to Launcher pro. Of course on TW I had samsung widgets while using it. Any good widgets out there that'll work with Launcher pro?

Well after downloading next Launcher I tried to set up my home screens with the same widgets I had on the stock launcher with no luck. It tells me there is a problem with the widgets tap to reload. When I tap they disappear.

I have a small issue with widgets..
I'm currently on APEX launcher and cm9. When i put any widgets on the home screen that auto update, they do work ok for a short while, but then stop. for instance, a clock widget will work for a 10 minutes maybe, but then stick.
I don't use any a task killer.
I'm redoing my home screen, and I want to have a few text icons that take me directly to specific home screens. Apex launcher has action shortcuts for this, but they are only 1x1. I cannot use widgets to get these actions... I have to use shortcuts. I have done what I want with 1x1 shortcuts, but they are just too small for my taste. I really want 2x1 shortcuts. I have not been able to figure out how to make them with either Simple Text or Desktop Visualizer.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Go Launcher on Galaxy Note and it appears to redraw/reload all widgets and icons on the home screen if I rotate the screen i.e while going from Landscape to Potrait Mode and vice versa , all widgets/icons reload.
While rotating applications , this does not happen.
Just curious if there is a way to get this style Phone Launcher/Dock at the bottom on my Captivate?

As most of you know that after downloading it, pressing the home button gives you the option of which home screen launcher that you want to..well.. launch..either HTC Sense or Launcher Pro. Well this morning I picked Launcher Pro, but accidently clicked the "don't ask me this again" box before that, so now I'm stuck on Launcher Pro and can't get back to my, or any, HTC Sense launcher. I've gone all through my settings and can't figure it out. I'd like to either get back to my old HTC Sense home screen, get to the DEFAULT HTC Sense homescreen, or get back to being able to have the option to pick which one I want to launch.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using LP for about a week (it's great BTW!) and this just started to happen so it could have something to do with the latest update. I've set LP at the default launcher and everything works great. However, if I ever long press the "home" button, go to an application, then press "home" again I get the popup asking me which launcher I want to use. I check the "set as default" box then select LP and everything is good again. It all works until I long press home the next time, then the remembered default is gone and I get the prompt again. I've tried rebooting, clearing defaults, etc.

I used ADW for a while, but when I am on ADW my notification bar get vanished. I dk how..so i switched to launcher pro. I had a random shut down once, so now I am thinking it because of Launcher pro.
