i need a new media player that supports many of the video files whats in mind?
I am using the Alcatel OT-918d (stock rom, root access enabled) and while playing videos in the browser, I do not get an action prompt to choose from the available video players and browser plays the video using "default video player".
The so called "default video player" has been uninstalled though. Have cleared cache, clear defaults, clear data for the browser but still do not get a prompt to choose a video player while playing videos from the browser.
Also installed the "Default App Manager" to check for the default video player. However, it indicates no defaults to play any videos (either from file or streaming videos).
(If I play a stored video from phone or SD card, I do get the prompt to choose a video player. But do not get a prompt if playing any video in the browser.)

I watch a lot of anime from Nwanime or TV series from Couchtuner When I open these video webpages on Android I have to nagivate like on a desktop browser (tiny play button and maximise button and seek bar) On the iphone the video would open in the default video player.
How can I enable my Android device to open these videos with a default video player like mxplayer for example?
*note. Mxplayer is already my dafault player, so if I open an actual video file it plays in mxplayer. My problem is with web video
I have a problem with my Onda VX610W Deluxe using ICS beta1, when i use video player like MX Video Player or mVideo Player - everything runs fine but with additional subtitles that have wrong character set and sometimes wrong sync, subtitles from MX Video player or mVideo are fine but Onda`s Hardware decoder overrides screen and inputs additional subtitles it looks like this:
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am doing a video based course, and what is infuriating about playing video on my Android is that you have to watch each segment (up to 40 minutes) in one go, as the next time you play the clip it will restart and fast forward does not work (it forwards for less than a second and then jerks back). What would be really handy would be if I could put a bookmark every time I have to stop the video file (such as when I have to get off my train), and return to the same place the next time I open it. Is there any app that can do this? I will pay for one that works.

Although there's an App Market app on it, flash player, photon, or any video player won't show up. There appears no way to update this thing. Music won't play all the time either.

My friend and I both have a Galaxy Tab 3.
When he uses his native android video player he can see media listed from DropBox (and a little drop-box icon on the bottom left corner of the thumbnail). He also has the options "View by" under the options button and can select "view by content on DropBox ".
-> This allows him to stream the videos from dropbox on the native vid player without downloading onto the device...
I do not have these options! How do i get them?
I need this because i want to use the AllShare option for streaming to my TV that is available on the native video player.
How do I change the default video player? Right now it is set to open and play videos in the default Android video player, but I want to use a better, more feature rich video player from the marketplace. I tried using apps that changed defaults, but they didn't have any options for videos, just which default app would open pics.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn the MK802 Android 4.0 Mini PC there is a video player called 2160p. This video player can play SBS 3D videos. [URL] ....
I have an Acer passive 3D monitor that hasn't got an option to watch SBS videos in 3D. The only format it supports is interlaced.
I just got myself an Android mini-pc. The Uhost 2. I was hoping I could use the 2160p Player to view SBS videos in interlaced 3D. The 2160p Player installs fine on the device and the Gallery works. But when I select a video to play, it crashes.
I am not sure if its a buggy app or if it only works on the AllWinner A10 processor. Is it possible to get it working on other devices.
There definitely seems to be a market for this app [URL] ......

View 9 Replies View RelatedI really like BS Player and use it constantly on my Galaxy Tab 10.1.
I find it has a fantastic LAN streaming capability and great interface. However, it auto selects the thumbnails.
This isn't necessarily a problem for me bc I use it set to 'file list'.
However, my 5 yr old can't read yet, so I set it to Thumbnails.
Unfortunately, the auto gen thumbnail feature selects some random frame 99% of the time, and the image will have no bearing on the movie whatsoever.
Is there another video player that allows you to select your own thumbnail from a screenshot or picture file?
I have 3 video apps on my note 2. When I go to open a video in my camera I always get to pick which app I want and whether to use it "just this once" or "always". View 3 Replies View RelatedI have always loved my Windows PC for the fact, that there are some programs with which I could watch movies with my girlfriend and have
1) English subtitles displayed for me on top of the screen and
2) Greek subtitles for her on the bottom of the screen.
Now, with my android mini pc and I cannot find an app which displays 2 subtitles at the same time.
My question: Is this there any app out there that and I just haven't found it?
how to improve video player performance on Galaxy Pocket using MX Player .
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded and tried lots of video players from the Android Market, namely Vplayer, mVideoPlayer, Rockplayer Lite, RealPlayer, Meridian and MX Video Player. They are all similar and lack one function which I have to have, and that is being able to play at a higher speed, around 1.3x to 1.7x like desktop VLC player.
Do you you know any video player currently on Android that has this function? I can not stand movies at normal pace because I find them too slow for my taste.
