Unable to log in to android market on htc evo, deleted old gmail account open new one now everytime i try to open market on the
HTC evo it keeps asking for the old gmail account password, is there a way to get the market to recognize the new gmail account.

Today she tried sending me pics of our newborn nephew while I was at work and everytime id receive this message "download of message(no subject) was not successful" I had her delete the most recent apps she had downloaded and restart her phone and still same issue.
I had my friends send me picture messages n I received them fine.

Whenever i hold it in a vertical position, you can here it click. You can actually see the batt cover move just a little bit. Is anyone else having this issue. I know that it is a small thing to complain abt, but that clicking is annoying.

I've had this issue since the 2.2 leaks (2.2.9-2.3.15 and now with RubiX) and have finally gotten tired of it. When downloading apps or updates from the market, 1/2 the time it'll finish downloading but then won't install. It just hangs there at 100% and nothing happens no matter how long I leave it there. I have to cancel download and then re-download, sometimes multiple times, before it'll install it automatically. This happens with every app, and while I do eventually get everything install, it will still very annoying. Does anyone else have this issue?

I reset and noticed that there was no vibrate on start up. Once booted, still not vibrate - but then suddenly it all came back. I'm so confused.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've just been reading Complete backup regarding backup tools.What I am looking for is a way to backup my phone in an idiot proof fashion, so that I can get it back to the factory and OS settings it originally comes with.When I say backup, I'm not too concerned about SMS, email etc - but more of a one-touch way of resetting the phone to factory status in case I bugger things up when rooting (I can guarantee I'll attempt that one day).Do I need Sprite for that, or will the phone come with some sort of 'recovery disk'?
Regardless of that, should I get Sprite in any case for day to day backup? The site looks very impressive.

View 2 Replies View RelatedPicked up a tip for other 'wet phone accidents'. Don't use rice and don't put your Phone On, the best way to sort a wet phone is alcohol gel (the stuff used in hospital for your hands). 90% alcohol or more (you can buy that at a chemist or supermarket). Get a resealable bag. Put the alcohol gel in the resealable bag, drop your phone in, minus the battery/sim/memory card and shake it around a bit take/make sure the gel gets everywhere. Leave it a few minutes, bring it out and leave it sitting for a bit. And ok.
I know what your thinking, why wet an already wet phone. Well the alcohol gel evaporates at room temperature, it also more or less eats away the water in the phone. As another tip for water damage, get some scotch tape and put it over each moisture indicator when you return your phone-remove it. This may or may not work, however I don't recommend anyone try it, its just a point of conversation!
This is a multi question post kinda =). If I kill Handcent with task killer and put my phone in sleep mode with a single press of the power key I will not get any texts until I wake my phone up and then they all roll in. If I don't kill the task I seem to get texts while the phone is idle and asleep. Also I set the default text app the hancent now when ever I send a text it only opens handcent which is good, but if I receive a text it opens handcent the default app and google voice.
Any ideas on how to sort this out ? I did a forum search but did not find any thing that solved my issues.
I managed it once through media go, but now media go won't even see the phone so I can add music and play lists to it.
