HTC EVO 4G :: Sharing All Contacts Via Bluetooth

Nov 17, 2010

I can share one VCard/Contact at a time from EVO to Blackberry via Bluetooth but I cannot send "all" of the contacts from the EVO to the Blackberry. I am running the latest version of the BakedSnack ROM. Is there any way to, natively or third-party application, to select all of my contacts on my EVO and send them to my Blackberry.

Samsung Galaxy S :: Sharing Internet Via Bluetooth

Aug 27, 2010

Anyone know how to set up the phone to share internet via bluetooth? I've been using the Wireless AP mode which works really well, but I think the bluetooth mode will use less power.I've been able to pair the phone with my macbook, but I'm not sure what settings it needs on both sides. On the phone I'm assuming just enabling bluetooth is enough for it to be a modem, but on the macbook I need to fill out:username, password, apn and cid. I'm not sure where to find this info. Please god tell me I don't have to call Bell to get it.

Samsung Galaxy S :: Bluetooth Internet Connection Sharing

Jul 7, 2010

I was trying to use my PC's LAN Shared Internet on my Samsung Galaxy S using bluetooth internet connection sharing. The settings are correctly provided on my laptop. However, Samsung Galaxy S's bluetooth doesn't seem to be able to recognize this. i.e., Galaxy S doesn't have a network profile, due to which it always connects to my Laptop for headset service. Is this a limitation of Galaxy S? Can't Galaxy S connect to bluetooth for network sharing services?

I get the whole passcode and accept the file which i have done, but then it says again about accepting the file. Ive tried it a few times and i have 3 bluetooth icons at the top of my screen now which i imagine are for transferring files which need accepting. Is there anywhere i can to accept them or close them down?

I have my Google account also setup on my wife's phone so we can share purchased apps. However, everything else is shared too. For example, even though I have sync for everything on my account turned off, my calendar still showed up on my wife's phone until I disabled it in the calendar app. Also, I can't remove my Google Talk account from her phone so my messages show up on her phone.

This is on a pair of stock Samsung Galaxy S3 phones.

HTC Magic :: Push Contacts From Phone To My Camry Over Bluetooth?

Sep 28, 2009

Does anyone know whether it is possible to push contacts from my HTC Magic to my Camry over bluetooth? I cannot find a way on the phone to beam or send or push contacts and the car requires the transfer to begin from the phone. I have sucessfully paired my phone and the car. I am suspecting that the present bluetooth stack for the Magic does not include the profile necessary to beam contacts, but would appreciate any insight from anyone. Is this something that could be available in the future?

I'm new to Android with a HTC Evo and was curious about the app system of Android. The paid apps for the Android are they shareable? I was wondering if that was possible like how Apple let's you authorize 5 different computers to transfer your app purchases to others. Does the Android Market have that ability or do you have to buy it separately by each phone? I've searched the forums, but nobody seem to have an answer. Was hoping some of you veteran android users, would know.
