Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Cannot Transfer Bluetooth Contacts From K850i To Phone / Fix It
Nov 5, 2010
Just a bit of a weird happening, when I got the phone out of the box I transferred all the contacts over via Bluetooth with no issue. I have since updated Android 1.6 and again repaired that update and lost all the contacts. Now when I try to Bluetooth them over I just get all the names and no numbers.
Is there anyway I can fix this? I tried getting all the contacts onto the sim card, but no luck.
I didn't break already did I?

I'm having trouble retrieving / viewing the call history (X10) with a bluetooth connection to a built in car kit.i.e. missed / incoming / outgoing. The only option I get is phonebook and then have to scroll through to the required number.Have I missed something? Is this feature supported (can't find anything in the user manual) or will I need to use an app?I know the car kit supports this feature as my work Nokia (basic phone only) is fine.

I have used the 'wireless file transfer' program on my PC to send an audio file to my Xperia X10. It sent fine, but I can't find the file on my phone. In case it hadn't sent properly I sent it again but was told the filename already exists at the destination. It's not in mediascape, it must be in a folder somewhere, but where?

Does any one know how we can transfer files from one phone to another in Xperia X10 mini? I tried to figure out but couldn't. So far this is the crapiest phone I ever bought. I wish I could return it to the seller. I cannot view my Pdf and Doc files. It is supposed to come with a document viewer (its written there in specs). Where do I find this document viewer?

My Xperia X10 has developed several faults and has to go back to SE for repair / replacement. In the meantime I plan to use my old SE C902 as a backup. I need to transfer all my contacts from the X10 to the C902. So far I've tried. copying all my contacts to the SIM card then putting the card in the C902. The c902 then promptly declares "List Empty" copying all my contacts to the memory card. Unfortunately the X10 and C902 use different memory cards. sending all contacts via bluetooth using "Bluetooth File Transfer" downloaded from the market place. The result of this is "unable to send file"
backing up the contacts from the X10 to my laptop and then restoring them to my C902. Unfortunately the two phones use different versions of PC Suite and neither recognises the other. I don't want to spend a week or two without access to my contacts, and short of sitting down with an old fashioned paper and pen and scrawling them all down before I send it in for repair I'm at a loss what to do!

I'm totally new to Android and not overly technical. I've a problem I'm hoping someone can help with (if you can help please provide an idiots guide as I've trawled the net it's all way over my head with root this and that). In relation to my work I have the need to send and receive video files via bluetooth to my workmates handsets. Never had an issue in the past with Nokia "talking" to Blackberry etc (except I-phone which is a toy as far as I'm concerned) but my X10 will not receive. I keep receiving the same message on the handset "Sorry, the application settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again".

I initially synced with Media Go and all of my music transferred, but now that I have made some changes on Media Go, I don't know how to make them transfer to my phone. I connect my phone to the computer, and my phone shows up as a F: drive device. I am used to iTunes and there being a Sync button.
