Whenever I exit an app I get a white screen with green "HTC" text followed by "Loading.........".
The Evo eventually gets back to the main screen.
I've tried power cycling the Evo to no avail and I don't have any new apps or upgrades on the phone.

I'm new to the roms portion of rooted droids, and I Am looking for a specific rom. I want a black notification bar with white text and green battery. I want my stock droid icons, and froyo launcher Smoked glass theme would be cool.
Can anyone tell me any roms and or themes that meet this criteria? Screenshots would be Awesome. I was thinking ultimate droid but I had a hard time finding screenshots for their lates versions.
So this morning I had an English Language exam, and as you do, I turned my little beut of a Hero off. After my 2 and a half hour ordeal, I turned my Hero on, and the screen was white, with little green androids on skateboards. Im actually not even messing. It had also text in blue and red font but I never got the time to read it. I only glanced at it for a sec.

Iīve added those spinners to my layout without editing most of itīs properties and this way it works for most of my users. Unfortunately most isnīt all and then some of them started complaining that the list of options is showing text in white with over a white background! Iīd like to know if thereīs a way (or a property) so I can force those spinners to show the options list using text in black.
View 7 Replies View RelatedOne of the first things I've noticed about the Samsung (coming from the iphone) is how blue-greenish the background is within the browser.The difference is striking when the iphone is side to side with the Vibrant.It makes the reading mobile pages such as m.cnn.com a whole lot more difficult, relatively speaking.Anyone else notice this? I've also taken notice of this on a friend's Droid, although not as pronounced.Is this common to Android devices? I would think that the Vibrant screen could deliver a bright white with no color imbalances and should surpass the quality on the 3G(S) iphone.

After uninstalling, I am now receiving two SMS notifications when I receive a text. One a white envelope, another a green bubble with "SMS" written in it. I can't find a place where two are coming from...any ideas?

This seems to be an Android standard (both the Camera app and the Camcorder app do it when first selected), but I don't see any documentation on it. I even tried looking through the source of these apps on git, but couldn't seem to find it.
I don't know if this is possible on the X, but how do I calibrate the touch screen? I've noticed two things that are beginning to drive me crazy. The first is that it is so sensitive at times, if I pass my finger over a button without actually touching the screen, it thinks I pressed it and executes the function. Second, I noticed that the spot I touch actually is off a bit so when I try to hit a link from a list (such as a thread here) it will pick the one above it.
View 5 Replies View Relatedwhen I get a voicemail, it till pop up at the bottom of the screen when I go to unlock it, but I'm used to seeing text down there anyways (the slide to unlock bit) so sometimes I don't think twice and just flick it. My voice mail app and my messages app, never show that I have a voice mail. I just noticed one today and I went to listened and I had another unlistened to voice mail from a couple weeks ago.If I get a text message, my messages app shows a little number in a green circle. Why doesn't it show a number if I have a voice mail waiting for me?

Same thing on my vibrant. I'd take a picture or video of it but i dont think it will show on camera.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIve got my HTC Hero, and you know, it was great. But.. When i turned it on for the first time(and all other times) there were a kind of ''dots'' on the screen. It look a bit like the picture down there(this is just made in Paint, but it really looked like that)
Then i went to the place where i bought it(called 'Telia', a kind of Orange, just in Denmark) and they gave me a new one. But.. The same problem, just a little few(er?) dots.
Then i just want to ask you if thats normal, or i just was unlucky the get two bad phones.. I am going to get a new one again in a hour.

Ive been noticing over the last few days is that there is a small green line, or something like a green hue on the volume side of the screen when i have the market open, browser open. when i pull down the notification bar its really evident that there is a green line next to the wifi button.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am root using unrevoked. I made a nandroid as soon as I rooted. I have since removed a bunch of the crap-ware and I would like to try custom roms. But I cant seem to make another nandroid backup. I have tried to do it through ROM Manager and through the volumedown+power. Both take me the the white evo screen and it just sits there. I haev been patient, but 45 minutes is long enough I think. I know y'all see this stuff all the time and it gets frustrating but I really have tried to understand and to read and to search and I haven't found a fix for this.

i put my phone into download mode, odin one-click was open already, press start then:

And a green screen on my phone.
This problem happened few hours before i rooted my pad. Well the problem is a vertical green line that appeared in my screen and dont go off. I tried to use stuck pixel solutions and a factory reset (I didn't tried to put back in stock rom, I don't know how to do that).
The line is very perceptive on a pink background, but completely hide by a green background.

Is This a lcd problem for sure or a sofware problem? If it is a hardware problem, can i ask for a replacement from asus? For get a replacement, need i to put back in stock firmware or just a factory reset is enough?

I tried to take a photo from my desktop using power+vol down and the line dont show up in the photo, maybe really a hardware problem...
After following the guide to rooting, my phone is now stuck on the white "htc evo 4g" screen. It will boot up to that, then restart, and repeat.

The icon is a down arrow with two arrows going around in a circle. What am I supposed to do here?
