Apr 29, 2010my boyfriend and i have identical droids...on the text messaging screen, where it shows the names of the people you have sent texts to, there is a green dot or a red clock beside the person's name on his but not on mine...it seems to be some sort of tracking because when i my phone is in use his phone shows a green dot beside my name, and when my phone is idle his phone shows a red clock beside my name...

Aug 27, 2010In the contacts tab when you switch between groups then back to contacts, that color above the names has a noticeable hint of green to it, then when you scroll down a little bit then back up it's black again. Same thing on my vibrant. I'd take a picture or video of it but i dont think it will show on camera.

Dec 2, 2009Ive got my HTC Hero, and you know, it was great. But.. When i turned it on for the first time(and all other times) there were a kind of ''dots'' on the screen. It look a bit like the picture down there(this is just made in Paint, but it really looked like that)
Then i went to the place where i bought it(called 'Telia', a kind of Orange, just in Denmark) and they gave me a new one. But.. The same problem, just a little few(er?) dots.
Then i just want to ask you if thats normal, or i just was unlucky the get two bad phones.. I am going to get a new one again in a hour.

Dec 2, 2010Ive been noticing over the last few days is that there is a small green line, or something like a green hue on the volume side of the screen when i have the market open, browser open. when i pull down the notification bar its really evident that there is a green line next to the wifi button.

I like to use my Eris's camera a LOT (its a decent camera!) but am now disappointed that there is a reddish blur in the center of all photos. It is very noticeable on white backgrounds in medium to low light conditions. does anyone have any info? i rooted my phone and am still in the 30 day period, i have insurance too.

The Evo eventually gets back to the main screen.

After my 2 and a half hour ordeal, I turned my Hero on, and the screen was white, with little green androids on skateboards. Im actually not even messing. Feb 25, 2014This problem happened few hours before i rooted my pad. Well the problem is a vertical green line that appeared in my screen and dont go off. I tried to use stuck pixel solutions and a factory reset (I didn't tried to put back in stock rom, I don't know how to do that).
The line is very perceptive on a pink background, but completely hide by a green background.

Is This a lcd problem for sure or a sofware problem? If it is a hardware problem, can i ask for a replacement from asus? For get a replacement, need i to put back in stock firmware or just a factory reset is enough?

Apr 16, 2010Have just got my HTC Desire. I switched the phone on for the first time and it's stuck on a screen with a green icon on. The icon is a down arrow with two arrows going around in a circle. What am I supposed to do here? I've pressed on the screen and held for a few seconds, pressed and held each of the buttons and no response. Not even the power button works.

Apr 16, 2010the "messages" icon on the home screen is a sort of envelope speech bubble looking yoke when there are new sms text messages you get a small green circle over this icon with the number of unread messages in it. how do you clear this?
I hit the icon and get a screen of my text messages none are highlighted in bold to say what's unread AND even after opening them all and going back to the home screen the damn green circle is still there. after a while it goes again?any ideas?

Jun 18, 2009I'm running a standard camera preview (i use the camera api demo as a reference).
When i hit the capture button, there is a black screen for a good 1/2 second until the captured image appears.
My question is how can i freeze the last image being previewed on the screen while i do the capture work ? I don't mind that the quality of the displayed image is not as good.
If i hit camera.stopPreview() -> that goes into the black screen which i don't want.

I would like to know why Camera process has died after onPause is being called and restarted again when device is put to Lock state. Jun 5, 2010I have an activity that shows up when the phone screen goes to sleep/turns off ie turns black.
For some reason, the phone turns on when the volume buttons or the camera buttons are pressed. By turns on, I mean the screen wakes up or comes back from the black screen state.
I've tried using dispatchKeyEvent(KeyEvent event) and the buttons are disabled on the activity, but they still wake up the phone.

Jun 8, 2010Its a few pixels or so near the middle of the screen. Its not pixels solid out, but a few that almost looks like a 'mar'. It only shows up when the front camera is on, but if I take a picture, there are no marks on the screen?
