HTC EVO 4G :: Internet Supports Flash - Out Of Box
Jun 4, 2010Don't know if this has been covered, but some flash sites work fine with my internet browser.
View 3 RepliesDon't know if this has been covered, but some flash sites work fine with my internet browser.
View 3 RepliesTrouble is, the update happens whether you want it or not. I can no longer play vids using firefox. FF tell me there is no longer support and don't explain if that means for now or ever. Chrome has the usual flash not compatible bs they always come out with. Dolphin now seems to have joined Chrome. Puffin just shows blank screens. If this isn't temporary then android tablets are merely web browsers.
View 24 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try and enter a site that requires flash, the internet cuts off and sends me back to the home screen. I've only tried Daily Show, Veoh, and CNN so far. Any suggestions on what the problem may be.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyway, when i am trying to watch a movie in my adroid device (Xperia Sola), sometimes it directly opens it with flash player withing the browser (Btw i am using stock) and sometimes it wants me to open with some apps, like Movies, Quickpic and MX Player. Since i am able to play that video with flash player in my computer, i want that video to be played by flash player, not by some apps.
Actually MX Player is better in watching movies, but sometimes it cant grab the movie, but flash player makes no problem like that.
I unchecked "Play HTTP Links" in MX Player, but there is no such option in stock Movies app and Quickpic.
Does anyone here know if its possible to get some sort of flash player on the HERO to watch internet Videos on some random web pages?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a way to play a live video stream on android. At this moment I publish webcam from Flash application to Red5 and transcode it there into the second live stream using Ffmpeg.
How can I play the second stream on Android ? I tried to transcode the stream into mp4 file, and hint it with MP4Box, but it doesn't work because file is busy by ffmpeg process...I see Red5 RTSP plugin, is it possible to receive the published RTMP stream via this plugin on Android ?

View 15 Replies View RelatedNot sure if its a LP Plus feature or not, because I ended up buying it, but you can resize widgets now. And you're not limited to resizing MOTO widgets either. You can resize pretty much anything from what I can tell. Not always the best results when doing so, but some actually work fairly well.

Has anyone found a good wifi tethering app that supports infrastructure mode? I tried android pre-14 on google and barnacle but both were just adhoc mode. I know google pre-14 will work once we get to 2.2 os, or it least it does on the EVO, but not sure when that is happening for the Fascinate.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I'm running the CM 6.0.2 rom and i had Kings kernal #1 installed and I was getting great quadrant scores and very stable. Then I tried to use wifi tethering today and....didn't work
I use wifi tethering alot for my ipad(don't flame to much on that) but the wifi tethering kept me from having to buy a 3g ipad and kept me away from AT&T.
So my question is what is the best kernal to use that supports wifi tethering? Without breaking GPS or BT audio?
I'm looking for a dual sim phone with 3g 850 900 2100. I'm trying to get rid of carrying two phones.
Not fussed about brand per say.
Can't post link but there is a eBay seller tec-plus selling ezio b92w.
States that its a quad 3g capable, however I have emailed seller and the response was vague at best.
Any dual sim phone that meets this requirement?
I'm a proud owner of Samsung Galaxy S and I have been using it last 22 months. I could have recontacted my phone for free last month (end of 21 months) but I was eagerly waiting to get the Galazy S3 LTE version. I'm with Singtel Singapore.
Finally last Saturday they released and I found out that that version don't have FM Radio. It's a International Quad Core with 2GB Ram seems. I really miss FM Radio. I'm a radio fan (Yeah still )
So my question is FM Radio supports depends on Hardware? (I'm not talking about streaming. Real radio we have in S, S2 and can be use even without data). Is it like they removed some chip so it's no longer possible? Or just some software related things which can be fixable in the future?
I use Link2SD on a stock ROM, so my second SD card partition is a FAT32 partition, rather than an ext partition (the stock ROM doesn't support ext partitions). Link2SD does not however link the app data to the SD card, only the apps themselves. What I am wondering is if there is any data2SD script I can install easily alongside Link2SD that will move/allow me to move my apps' data to the 2nd FAT32 partition on my SD card? I have found that the app data takes up about 70MB of my internal storage, which leaves me with only about 40MB free.
