Is it possible to play continuous audio stream (MP3 / AAC) in Android browser using <audio /> tag?
If you're not sure, could you at least recommend some good testing page containing and using <audio /> tag?

I was wondering if the droid supports tv-out from the audio jack? I'm not sure if Android 2.0 supports tv-out. I know the iPhone added tv-out later on with an update, so I was wondering the same with the droid.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI connected my phone via USB to my RR sport to upload audio files to the RR hard drive. However, I keep getting connection error. Apparently my device is not being recognized as a storage. I did the unmount thinking. Also, I am wondering how I can play audio from my phone through the RR audio system.
RR is 2010.
Not sure if its a LP Plus feature or not, because I ended up buying it, but you can resize widgets now. And you're not limited to resizing MOTO widgets either. You can resize pretty much anything from what I can tell. Not always the best results when doing so, but some actually work fairly well.

View 11 Replies View Relatedjust started using the Pandora music app, but my kids in the back seat could not hear it. so I stopped by Walgreens and picked up the "JUPITOR JACK". you can't miss it cause it has the big red ad: "AS SEEN ON TV". it works well enough, but I had to tweak my car audio system to make it decent. whatever the droid plays comes out on the car radio, it's better then my old belkin FM transmitter.

b) supports all features of a NON rooted Droid phone properly - can be v2.0.1 for all I care, I would just re-run this same list at a later date for a custom ROM running the official 2.1 or later equivalent I suppose.
c) while accomplishing all other criteria listed, still allows for overclocking by the USER - i don't mind using another app to do this - allows tethering and other applications which would typically require ROOT access
d) Accomplishes or at least allows for VOLTAGE and/or PROFILE adjustments to help fine tune battery life while balancing performance - again, doesn't really matter to me if I end up having to pay for an app to addon to accomplish this................

and touch it in the client, the screen loads a blank page.
likewise, I want to have a table of contents that isA ListView and uses loadUrl with an html page suffixed with an anchor. I tried and it is not working

View 11 Replies View RelatedThis little web page runs fine on my desktop but when selecting the area with a G-1 Android device (select box that says statewide..) the data refreshed with the requested data in the table but the text in the select box does not change,,, the other select boxes (month and year) work fine.. Fwiw the data is still rough and so is the gadget...
I've rebooted and restarted the g-1 to no avail..

The broader question, i guess, here is how to debug a web page on any android browser? we don't have a firebug equivalent..
Further I confirmed the same bug in the Moto Cliq browser (also old still a 1.5) very strange every once in a while the G-1 operates correctly, but I can't figure out how to get it to do it, just that every once in a while the select shows in the window when selected and the data refreshes..
I have verified that this seems to be a verified bug in the early browsers... so now I'm trying to figure a work around, I added setFocus on the select box but it is ignored on the Android G-1

I have three select boxes on the app so I need to display the selected info...as the selection is served.. not just initialization. FWIW the behavior seems to be on select boxes that have the selection dynamically loaded,, when I finish all three boxes will need dynamic loading now only the area box is dynamic, year/month are coded and so work.
Ive got fabs 2.2 on my droid but how do I use chrome to phone? Got my phone registered with my email and that box checked on the actual phone itself. But what do I need on the computer side? I've searched through the goggle extensions and haven't found anything?

It happens on every computer I use it on and every browser. All I get is nothing or and error "error can't send page" from a Chrome browser and I actually it the devs page on Fox to phone saying 404 page not found. I've uninsulated and reinstalled both the phone app and the browsers plug ins numerous times. After doing that it may work once but generally does the same thing.

Using a non-rooted Droid, is it possible to tether with Chrome OS?
I know there are ways to tether your non-rooted Droid with Linux/Windows/Mac, but the software required will not run under Chrome OS (for example, one of the Linux solutions requires you have the SDK installed).
I've noticed for a couple weeks now that a few "flakes" of the chrome paint on my power button have come off, I thought at first this was due to maybe an impact since I carry mine in a holster at 90 degrees - also I ride a bike so maybe something like sand or debris did this. But further looking at it theres no mark under the missing chrome, so I ruled that out. Looking closer the rockers for the volume control have a couple specs missing.
I obviously use the power button more than the volume, and now since I've notice this I switch back and forth from the home button/P button to wake the phone in a attempt to prevent more wear and tear. Its honestly not that big a deal, I can tell the camera button is poorly painted too but due to the fact I use the on-screen shutter I rarely ever touch that one. I've contemplated just removing the chrome all together, a touch of acetone applied with a q tip would do the trick. Black wouldn't be bad, I just would rather have all the colors be consistent instead of the "chipped away" look.
I like the stock Eris browser ( I tried dolphin) and would like to easily import all my Google chrome bookmarks.
