I've had no glitches for the past few weeks until now. The orientation of the internet stays in side view. Messaging orients fine in both views.
What to do, fellas?

Is there a way to get the browser to save my open web site tabs? the next day they are gone and I have to browse back to those sites, its kinda annoying.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying several browsers and only Miren browser had the feature I need. I mean then I loaded pages stays loaded until I close the tabs/browser manualy.
All the other browsers keeps reloading pages then I don't need them to reload. For example - open some website, go to other app, then turn off mobile network and wifi, then go back to internet browser and it's only blank page (or an error page).
Recently I have flashed ICS ROM and now Miren browser FC sometimes.. I guess it's because of Miren browser is no longer supported and some ICS incompatabilities or ROM problems..
So any other browser which doesn't reload pages when apps being switched back and forth? Or way to keep all browser loaded tabs (in cache(?)) so it don't need to reload so much?
Installed flash 10.1 today and since then...won't boot up at times, screen orientation won't switch, lock-ups, pages hang, multiple reboots etc. How do I uninstall this? I've looked on the phone and tried to research online without any luck so I have turned to to the real experts. Help!

I was wondering about internet browsers and their capability in displaying certain content on web pages. I go back and forth between the stock internet browser that came with the Evo and Xscope Browser. I noticed two things, on that it doesn't display animation on GIFs. I wanted to know, is there a plug-in one can download or a browser that would run the animation on the page? The reason I ask is because right now I can�t tell the difference between a JPEG and GIF on the page when it loads up. Its only when I decide to download it that it displays the extension. My second question is about playing Quicktime files on trailer websites that run QT. I can�t play these back. Is there a plug-in or browser that I can use to play those videos on my Evo?

Actually the only problem I have had is sending and receiving picture messages. Anyone know what may cause this? The phone says its connected and full strength signal also.

I get the impression that the Opera mobile browser works this way.I want to talk to local devices that serve web pages and connect directly to them from phones. Does the Chrome browser in Android have the full functionality that Chrome has on a PC? Can it parse HTML, do XMLHttpRequest, and otherwise act like a modern browser?

I want to place first image view in gallery view starting from left side of the screen, instead of centre. Right now, it always position of first tem always starts from centre. Any help on this would be highly appreciated.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was looking at the Captivate and the iphone4 in store today and when comparing the same web pages in full page view the text on the Captivate was much smaller than the iphone4, even though the iphone screen is smaller. Zoom just made everything bigger so it wasn't in full page anymore. Is there a way to make the text bigger while in full page view? On a side note, that iphone4 screen is super sharp for text and the whites were much whiter vs the blueish tint on the Captivate.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI currently have a view in my Android app and the view is playing a frame animation. I want to animate the view to increase its size to 150%. When I apply a scale animation to it, and the scale animation is completed, I want the view to stay at that new size for the rest of the activities life cycle. Unfortunately right now when the scale up animation is complete, the view snaps back to the original size. How can I get it to keep the new animated tranformation? I'm using myView.startAnimation(AnimationUtils.loadAnimation(mContext,R.anim.scaleUp150));

I'm handling the orientation myself (android:configChanges="orientation|keyboardHidden"). Does it means that I have to take into account the orientation state when querying for view.getHeight()? The view returns the same value as before the orientation change. It this the normal behavior or I should "notify" somehow the view to "refresh" its size.

I'm developing an app and i need to detect when the user shakes the phone from side to side , that means just along one axis (in this case X).I want to know when the user shakes the phone to the left and when to the right, the problem is that my code does not detect shaking but tilt, i have tested this code and it works when i tilt the phone to left or to the right, but not when a shake it from side to side (no matter the orientation of the phone).

View 39 Replies View RelatedI am having a listview in my App which shows perfectly in Portrait mode. But when I change orientation to landscape, sometimes the width remains as that of Portrait mode. Even the scrollbar for the list comes at the center and remaining part of the screen remains blacked out. This happens only with the list view. Other views show perfectly. I have designed the layouts such that the Portrait layouts look feel proportionate in landscape mode. I want to avoid restarting the activity so I have not put the layouts in the landscape folder. I tried invalidating the listview in onConfigurationChanged() but of no use. When I navigate in the list in landscape mode, the width automatically gets adjusted.

As I'm a bit stubborn, I've done some tests but I only manage to display one ListView which fill all the screen even if I use "wrap_content" or if I put each ListView in a LinearLayout. The final goal is to connect these ListViews together, clicking on an item from the first will update the content of the second, and so on.Should I user ScrollView instead ? For those who will say that three ListViews won't fit in a mobile screen, I trying to make an application for a tablet :)
